Absolutely Horrifying! I would have rated this place less than a star but the option is not available and I would never rate a property less for minor glitches. It's going to be long review. We had booked our trip with Andamantra for four nights and it was all paid, upon arriving at the property we were asked to wait like others for check-in, everyone seemed distraught due to the delayed check-ins and some of the families also had kids who arrived directly from the airport, the number of reception staff catering to the crowds of people is inadequate resulting into delays and they don't offer any welcome drinks or even water. All you try to do is keep on following up for the room and they keep on responding that the house keeping is working on it. We were made to wait for four hours only to be told that the room had some maintainece issues with the bathroom and also if we would like to see the room in order to further wait for the issue to be fixed, upon viewing the room the condition of it wasn't good, the ocean view was blocked by the bamboos as this property is under construction. All this while we were only made to wait in the warm hotel lobby with no water. The resort is huge and some of the lucky people do get rooms but I will never suggest this property to anyone I know. They didn't offer any apologies or cared for our time, after being denied the check-in after four hours we ended up booking a different property with an ongoing and uncertain request on the refund. They didn't care to provide any arrangement for the lounge room/ waiting area or taxi to the other property and also weren't the most polite despite of being at fault. All the Google reviews mentioning the problems are 💯 true. If you'd like to have an easy vacation with no obvious issues with your stay, please stay away from booking this resort. By far this has been the most disappointing hotel experience for me in the world, and the most Horrifying international experience of being stranded without a place even after booking well in advance.

Very unpleasant stay, the worst thing about this hotel is probably the shuttle management to go to the room, every time we tried to go out we had to wait between 5 to 15 minutes for the Shuttle to come to pick us up. Many times we had to go by walk because no one was coming and the reception rarely pickup the phone after 6PM. If you come back after 11pm you can forget the shuttle and climb your way up to the room. Room was poorly cleaned, first time we tried to take a bath in the mini-pool there was bunch of hairs from previous guests floating inside the water, simply disgusting. Steam room just don’t work at all, barely blows some little steam. Called two times to fix it and no one showed up. Some receptionists at the phone (when they dare answer) are very rude. Breakfast is a joke. The hotel is very poorly attended with noisy guests. I wasn’t expecting something spectacular for the price but this is far from a decent experience. Nothing like something you can expect from a 4 STARS HOTEL! Don’t ruin your trip staying at this place. Please. 1 Star is for the amazing view.

Stunning sea view from our room. Even though the place was a bit old but everything worked fine. Nice and friendly staffs. The pool and their restaurant also has gorgeous view. Breakfast was also great as it offer large variety of foods and they were all well prepared. The only thing I’d complain is that when we were checking in with the reception it took quite a long time before they can find the room for us despite having the room booked in advance.

Disappointing experience. First of all, the pictures on the sites are misleading they show as if the property is next to the beach but it is not. It is on a hill next to the beach (which explains why the ocean is visible) but its difficult to reach the beach from the hotel, its about a 20 mins rigorous walk to reach the beach given the fact that its on a hill. Talking of hill, it’s a pain to get from the lobby to your room as it’s a steep incline and you have to depend on their shuttle service which is a bit of wait most of the times, especially in peak movement hours. The rooms themselves are dated, old and not maintained in perfect conditions for the type of hotel it advertises itself. Breakfast has limited selections and long waiting times during peak hours at the live counters (ex: egg omelet). Staff is slow, indifferent and even rude at times. The check in process was painfully slow, the person at checkout at 5:30 am in the morning seemed like a housekeeping person with no idea of what he is doing. The last day we had an early morning flight and requested to just eat some bread etc. at 6 am but staff refused saying it opens at 6:30 am where as all we wanted was some bread/croissant etc. Also while I was charged for 2 adults 1 child no additional bed or arrangement was done for the kid. Housekeeping and Room service was never reachable on the phone and its not a property where you can just walk up to the front desk too. Among 3 hotels I booked for my Thailand trip only this one did not meet expectations. Would not recommend this to anyone, there are much better resorts at the same price much closer to the beach.

Reception took more than an hour to check me in, and the staff members were very egotistical. When I asked if an ocean view and king-size bed were provided, the response was delivered with arrogance, stating, “You got what you booked.” There was no need for such a response; I was simply asking a question. Additionally, the manager took over an hour for check-in, and when I inquired about the delay, I was met with a dismissive response, stating that they couldn’t expedite the process and that I should wait. This is not an appropriate way to communicate with customers. Furthermore, I was asked to produce the credit card used for booking, nowhere mentioned in booking details about to produce credit card, but for security reasons, I had left it in a safety bag. Despite explaining this, the demand persisted, adding unnecessary frustration to the already lengthy check-in process. The towels provided were dirty and old, and the TV remote was non-functional. Despite notifying the front desk multiple times, the issue was not resolved promptly. Each time I called, I was given a different number to contact, resulting in further delays and frustration. Even after supposedly fixing the remote, it remained dysfunctional, and when I raised the issue again the next morning, I was met with argumentative responses. Finally they have not provided the tv service for 3 days. The overall experience was incredibly disappointing and has significantly impacted my trip. I would advise others to avoid this hotel and explore alternative accommodations.

It is rated as 4 star hotel, I would rate it 2.5 star, hotel has passed its prime. A lot of things are neglected in the hotel maintenance. The rooms are dated. The front desk staff could use more training and more enthusiasm in helping customers. The cleaning staff is friendly. The view from the room is great. Included breakfast is decent. If improvements are done, hotel can be 4 star again.

We didn't like this place that we check out and book another hotel though we've paid. Hotel is in bad condition. Too old. We book 1 bedroom pool villa. Checkin was 1 hr late. The villa is in need of an upgrade. After 2 hours, room temp is still hot. Called for staff, no response. Came down back to reception and speak to the manager. Oak was attentive and good. But that's about it. They give us then a honeymoon suite. We settle for that initially, but because the plug is not able to charge my laptop, we check out and move to four points Sheraton. It was a bliss. All the negative reviews are on point. I couldn't agree more.

Great stay. The staff was super nice. Always remembered the room number before we even had to tell them when picking up towels or writing food/drink onto the room. Room service always did their best to hand fresh towels or water right away. Amazing view from the upper pool as it overlooks the sea and can be a great spot for thunder and lightning. Very good Thai food in their restaurant. 7/11 is right outside the hotel premises, which is handy for sun screen, snacks and other essentials. Location is a bit tricky if you are on foot as it is right on a bend and it is known that Phuket traffic is crazy 😅 enjoyed our stay very much!

We stayed here for our quarantine nights after arriving through Phuket sandbox. The place could definitely use a bit of an update! While checking in, we were told that our rooms are not ready and we had to wait for two hours (it was 13;45, check in time is 14;00). After 30 hours on the road, we were not happy about that. Later we were told that we’ve been upgraded to a better room… honestly, according to the photos maybe, but in reality, I don’t know. All photos they use for marketing are filtered - the place is old and we’ve expected more. Our overall stay was good, they also had good breakfast here, but we wouldn’t come again.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it is not what you expect from a 5 stars’ hotel. This is a big resort, so don’t expect something intimate. It’s not about quality but quantity. First, we arrived at 4:30PM to check in, and the room was not ready. We were not the only one to wait for our room, and we waited for 1 hour. We waited at the restaurant and they gave us water (not even a soda or something). The room is actually nice. We booked the honeymoon room with sea view, and the view is amazing. The bathroom is also okay. We paid 50€ per night which I think is ok for this room. There is also a giant bathtub in the terrace. This seemed to be a good idea but it is not: it’s really giant, so it takes more than an hour to fill it up. Plus, our terrace was just above the restaurant, so it’s not really intimate to take a bath there, it feels like everyone can see you. The breakfast is good. There is a lot of choice, the place is nice with the sea view. This may be the best thing of this hotel. The swimming pool are nice too, very big and the temperature is good. To conclude, it’s not what you expect from a 5 stars hotel. The location is good and it has a great potential. Too bad it’s not managed better. I would not recommend this hotel as for the same price you can get something much better.

We booked the Deluxe Ocean View Room for four nights. Generally, the experience was pass-able for the price, but some incidents to share for those making a decision. 1. Although when booking it seems you can request for an airport transfer, when we called the hotel, we were told to get our own when we arrive at the airport. 2. Our ocean view room was partially obscured by a building in front of us. We could still see the ocean but the noise from the air-conditioning units also marred the experience. 3. Generally the room was maintained clean, though the furnishings were old. However, one of the evenings, I found a clump of hair in a fresh towel. One morning, we woke up to find out that there was no water because of a choke in a pipe somewhere. Thankfully the water came back when we returned in the evening. Other than the above, the staff are polite. There are three small pools for common use, one of which has a good view of the sea. There is a decent slide in another pool as well.

Fabulous exterior structure overlooking the beautiful Phuket beach and ocean. Stunning view at breakfast restaurant at top level next to the pool. Friendly staff, generally helpful. Room is spacious However old furniture, chipping off here and there… limited power sockets, far from bed. Need internal shuttle bus to move between lobby and room. Certain floor no lifts, pull your luggage Over the stairs! Hard bed. 2 pillows and 1 bath towel for couple guests. Cheaper hotels nearby has comfy bed, 4 pillows and 2 sets of towels… this hotel is amazing yet disappointing in many ways

My stay in Thailand was the most disappointing I've ever encountered. Upon arrival at the resort, there was no one to assist with luggage, and no welcome drinks or even water for guests. When I inquired about water, the reception staff rudely stated that the hotel doesn't provide welcome drinks and that I should purchase them myself. The reception staff exhibited a complete lack of hospitality. The check-in process alone took a staggering 2 hours. The bellboy neglected to bring our luggage to the room, leaving us to carry it up stairs without a lift. The assigned rooms faced ongoing construction, eliminating any hope for peace. After persistent requests, we were given a new room somewhat removed from the noise. The hotel's policies were excessively commercialized, even charging for dental kits and tea/coffee sachets. The infinity pool view was marred by the hotel's own building. In summary, the staff displayed unprofessionalism and rudeness throughout, and I would strongly advise against recommending this hotel to anyone.

The room is good, however the furniture in the room is too old and they still use OLD TV which you can't connect your phone with Smart TV. The room breakfast is really good and we enjoy it. Any room that in higher floor required to walk as they do not have lift for each building they have. Room service is really good. Parking is bit hard as the hotel has very limited space for a car. They use pickup to take you to hotel room as the rooms are in the hill side and you it is available every 5 to 10 min. When check out it took longer than expected as we have no one come to help for the luggage to move from 3rd floor to 1st floor and take them to next to the driver lane. I did all by my self as I couldn't wait for long due to flight schedule.

Well the place is a mix feel sort of a thing. Location is good. A plus for Indians - Amritsar is just at the front gate. Service is a thing . U need to wait a while for check in and check out . Rooms are out dated but everything works. They have a queen sized mattress installed on a king sized bed in our room case. ( we booked a superior ocean view room)

Amazing place with stunning views. We got the honeymoon suites quite cheap, and wow were they worth it. Four poster beds with net curtains. An outdoor bath on the balcony with sea views. Not sure why you'd need a sauna in the shower room, just sit outside! The room is clean and not a bad size. They could put some bubble soap for the bath outside, but it was amazing having a bath at night with the stars, moon and the waves crashing in. Breakfast is included and it's a really nice buffet with lots of choice. We were quite annoyed with the service in the evening for drinks. The staff member was quite rude, we complained, and they took off the service charge. I wouldn't recommend eating there for dinner as there'll be loads of proper Thai food elsewhere that will be delicious and cheaper, but that's speaking as a Thai. The rooms are right at the top, so you can wait for a shuttle service to take you up and down, you can walk too but the service is quite frequent. The location is great, right by the beach and not too far from the old town and other places of interest. Highly recommend it there.

I stayed at the resort for 4 nights between 12 Jan - 16 Jan 2023 and my feedback is as follows: Pros: Great location, rooms are clean. House keeping staff, electrician, plumbing and restaurant staff are really good and carry out their work very cheerfully. (we had electrical and plumbing issues in our room and both were sorted out very quickly and efficiently). The staff at the restaurants are really good and helpful. Cons: The front office staff (women) are the worst anyone can encounter. They are high handed, very rigid and not accommodative of any request we had. They are also racist as I saw them giving preferential treatment to the westerners and third rate treatment to Indians. The only exception was the male staff on night shift. He was the only one helpful. They have about 25 - 30% Indian guests, yet not even 1 Indian dish is available for breakfast. The common area maintenance leaves a lot to be desired.

It was not a good experience with this resort. Quite old room and bathroom. No water bottles inside the room,no toothbrush and paste, so after reaching around 12 am in the night, we had to purchase these things, luckily 7/11 was nearby. . Parking is very limited but the guard will guide you where to park. Shutter car service was available but sometimes it was so busy so we had to wait longer or go up by walking the ramp, i think they should provide more shutter services.WiFi was also not working. The view is nice and the location is convenient specially for those who wants to eat halal food.

It's OK, but long ways to the rooms and if you have bad luck - like me you got a room with a view to the next building. So not nice to enjoy the time at the balcony Breakfast very simple, more Asian style. The staff is trying their best and they are very friendly. The rooms are clean but not new. A lot of of pools.

The hotel seems to be seriously understaffed. The staffs looked exhausted and are short-tempered. When I checked in to my room, there’s no toilet paper. I needed to call front desk 3 times before they came and give me the toilet paper. The toilet doesn’t flush properly and it makes the gurgling noise the whole night for 3 nights I stayed there. They don’t provide in room slippers. House keeping is done very late in the day (like 6/7 pm, the time when you arrive back to hotel to rest). They didn’t communicate beforehand that you need to bring 2000 thb cash for deposit. Breakfast was disappointing to say the least. The location is far away from any good beach (a good 10 min walk up and down the hill). It’s a huge resort but only have one lift that goes up to top floor. The guests are also very unruly and hotel doesn’t have enough staff to do noise control and unruly behavior (such as loud noises at 3 am)!! All in all, one of the worst hotel experiences of my life

Nice ocean view and good service from the staff. The room's furniture is a little bit old and some are not working well. Breakfast's quality is just average and have more rooms for improvement. The parking space is limited and if you back late, you may facing problem to park your car during high season. You need to take their shutter car from the dobby to the building of your room because the building is in the middle of the mountain.

Good: 1. The poolside view overlooks the sea and is very pretty. Poolside service is also good 2. The room we got was wide and spacious. 3. Shower water pressure was good Bad: 1. Check-in was stressful. There’s a huge deposit that has to be paid in cash that wasnt mentioned, so we had to walk all the way outside to suddenly change money 2. Check-in was so crowded and stuffy and we waited hours in the heat to get sent up to our rooms via buggy. It’s not exactly walkable to our resort either 3. The rooms were old and in need of a renovation. They were big ants everywhere and the flush was really weak. Even the bedding just had an ‘old’ feel. Everything in the fridge, coffee, tea and even mineral water had to be paid for. The sea view from the room was partially obstructed by their construction 4. Not easy to walk out, crazy busy street outside the villa 5. Buffet was very average. Also dont eat at the resort cafe; they just sell you the buffet food leftovers. 6. Service… we called for a towel and it never arrived Overall, vacationing here was stressful. I think I would have been more relaxed staying at home. I’d go somewhere else

The hotel is nice and big, you can see that they try to maintain it well. We took a deluxe room with Seaview and the furniture was a bit old, the sofa smelly, the shower door didn't close properly so every time after it there was a water everywhere. There was only one working socket in all the room. The shuttle service was fast and effective, max wait 5 min. The prices are a bit overcharged, but it is like in any hotel. There was not a lot of choice for the breakfast, a lot of Indian food. But there are great views from the breakfast area and pool.

The pool is the only place i really enjoyed. I got a basic room which was pretty old in decor style and with a balcony. Overall facility pretty run down and maintenance not really top notch. I had trouble with my door every time i try to enter the room. Very good service to have buggy send visitors to the blocks to save them from climbing the hill. A 7 11 is just outside and plenty of food choices plus kalim beach

So I’m sharing my experience to help the fellow guests. I was skeptical too to come here after reading the reviews but to my surprise our check in was smooth. The rooms were very clean and in fact the facilities were better than at Novotel that I stayed previously. Moving to breakfast, today I had a satisfying breakfast after being in Thailand for 5 days. The food was fresh. So overall my experience has been good so far.

The property should be maintained a little more, lovely pool side bar and sea view. But for regular room service all we had to remind, even for spoon, tea, coffee sachet, in 4-5 days stay no spoon in room for coffee set. Post covid please revive your business with adequate manpower because when we pay we expect prompt service. But no doubt great breakfast buffet, sea view, sunlight. Beautiful

A very good resort.i stayed they for a week, it was pleasant stay. Food is good. I took a room with sea view and sunset way clear from the room although it was cloudy mostly. Everything is accessible easily from the resort. Shuttle service at the resort is good but I prefer walking enjoying the view.

Really nice hotel. We stayed here for 6 nights and found the room to be very comfortable, decent size and a good balcony with nice views. This hotel is located on a steep hillside and the rooms are grouped into 3/4 different blocks at different levels going up the hill, with different facilities at each level. But don't worry about walking up and down steep hills to get to n from your room as there is a group of friendly hotel porters operate a 24/7 transport service using vans to take guests n luggage up and down whenever required. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, a gym, spa (gets booked up quickly so if you want to use make sure to book early), and a couple restaurants. There's a small beach and a food night market a couple minutes walk from the hotel, with the start of patong beach a 10/15 minute walk away, with the main nightlife a bit further walk. We had breakfast included in our stay and this was at the restaurant at level 8 which offered great views of the sea while you ate. Breakfast was buffet style with a good mix of both local and western hot food, omelette/egg station, noodle soup station, selection of different types of bread/toast, salad, cereal n fruit. A big mention to the older chef who was manning the egg/noodle station most mornings during our stay, he was always pleasant, gave a warm welcome and happy to chat to you as he's making your noodle soup or omlette. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely use again.

This hotel tries to cheat and over charge every customer. Have seen staff fighting with every customer. Even the check in experience is so bad as the wait time is very long. Inside it's difficult for transit between the rooms and lobby as the inclination is high and the buggy takes forever to reach. We cannot take the rented cars / bikes till the room and need to leave them at the gate. Zero hospitality and untrained staff. No good view from the rooms and balcony. Overll very average hotel with worst service.

Pathetic service. Firstly, the check in took more than an hour. The breakfast is very bad, with just 1 or 2 vegetarian options and not even proper tea or coffee. The worst thing we faced was when called for 2 forks in our room, which they didn't even respond to for 15mins. Upon calling back we were told they would charge 100 bahts to get just 2 forks to the room. They also charge exorbitantly for water (7times of the market price) and this charge applies even if you ask for water on the reception where there is no drinking water available for guests. The only good thing about the rooms are the view. Beyond that, service is the worst I have experienced anywhere.

In general it was a nice stay here. Quiet location which i like but still close enough to city life. Room was a little old but big and nice view. Mostly car shuttle is needed to get to the room coz hotel is located on a steep terrain. Having motorbike rented is best way to move just beware of Phuket police. They are everywhere and clearly the target are foreigners. I got stopped every day. If Thai driver they don't even blink but if i drove they stop me 100%.
