This hotel is the absolute pits. I'm not sure how it is getting good reviews..makes no sense... If this was a $20 a night hotel...that's one thing...it wasn't..i booked a $50 deluxe room... disgraceful...so small... couldn't swing a cat...old worn out furniture... air-conditioning leaking all over the floor...and to top the lot...this hotel is basically for old single guys looking for pickups from Bangla Road....Please stop posting false positive reviews of this hotel. It is a dump...avoid at all costs.

Respectful staff, good location....will always recommend this place for groups of friends who wanna come to Phuket and have a great time. Not really recommended for families with children

Loved our short stay at the Expat. It is like a little oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Patong. Our room was ground floor facing the pool. The rooms are basic but the bed was comfortable, AC worked well and the shower worked well (hot water/pressure). If you are a light sleeper the music from the Taipan nightclub at the end of the soi may be an issue but did not bother us. Super friendly staff and we both enjoyed our American breakfast each morning. The on-site bar and restaurant add to the character of the hotel and a good place to meet fellow travellers. All in all, highly recommended.

Not a bad place, showing its age in areas. Staff are great, really good on-site motorbike hire and laundry service. Good option for single lads.

Excellent hotel for Solo Travellers and couples. Lively and lovely bar staff, restaurant and management. I had a great time there and met some friends for life. A mix of all countries and cultures. Many great people to meet at the bar/restaurant and share a conversation with. Could not recommend higher. 5 stars for the experience.

Prices are excellent value here with a great bar and restaurant in the center of Patong. About 5 minutes from the beach I love this Hotel!

Most of the staff are amazing . I was going back on the 10th of September for my 50th but due to one of the Owners Gary being an absolute rude and arrogant person me and my 21 mate have decided to book elsewhere. It's a shame as it would have put a few million into the hotel but I and my friends don't feel comfortable with attitude he put out but Paul and his wife and most of the staff are amazing. Lynn ,noi and the other staff went out of their way to help me.. After I was robbed but GARY didn't care I paid my bill in full and left to go home Martin is a legend and also Pinky his partner were amazing . Gary I think you need to stay away and be a silent partner as you have no customer service skills.

Lovely place but the absolute best thing about this place is the staff and al the returning guests! The location is perfect. About 250 meter from Bangla on a dead end street. That makes it very quiet unless there is some party going on in the hotel. Have stayed here in total 7 weeks during different stays and i will definitely return!
