A five star hotel is just concrete and marble without the staff to deliver great service. This hotel definitely has these special staff.Everything they can do to make your stay memorable and special they do,above the call of duty The location is great providing a calm haven to come home to after the busyness of Phuket. The breakfast is varied and delicious. Try if you can to make an appointment with the superb spa staff; our highlight.

Nicest hotel in Patong in good price range. Rooms are big, modern and clean. Hotel is minutes walk from bars and restaurants. Great view from pool and bar! We got room with pool access and I loved it, as water was warm and clean :) + smart tv

We stayed at ONE BEDROOM SEA VIEW POOL VILLA. Beautiful property with all the facilities available in the room. Pros # One of the best properties for luxurious and relaxing vacation. # Private Pool height is 1.35 mtr which was adequate. # Villa offers absolute privacy. # Cart facility available for the pick and drop from Villas. # Proper arrangement of Cutlery, Microwave, Induction & Refrigerator. Cons # Limited Vegetarian option in breakfast. # Less light for someone to get ready especially ladies in the bedroom. # No full length mirror available. Suggestions # Complimentary cart service can be provided till Jungceylon instead of down the hill.

    1. Hotel room needs renovation, room didn't look like their picture. 2. Breakfast buffet really needs to be improved, food didn't look fresh or tasty. Variety of food was fine. 3. My room were too dark even with all the lights on.

Such a great place to stay with it's spacious room, incredibly friendly staff and the amazing view overlooking Patong beach. Did I mention the huge pool where you can slide on up to the bar and drink pina coladas to your heart's delight? An amazing experience in which we hope to repeat in the coming years.

We had a private pool villa. They stock the fridge with a mini bar of water, sodas, 4 beers, 1 bottle of white wine plus snacks and they replenish that daily which was really nice. Room was great. Room service is good and reasonably priced. Location is a few minutes from Patong Beach so it's a little quieter. Happy with our stay.

What a great deal. Your own private infinity pool, 5 star room service foods, unbelievable sunset views, bath overlooking the hills, 8 minutes from the beach. This is a must try place if ever in Phucket Thailand! Staff was friendly and polite. The gym had enough equipment to get a good work out on. The main infinity pool they had were awesome. Red big bean bags in front of the pool were a really nice touch. The best place I have ever stayed hands down by far. Would love to come back sometime soon.

This hotel is not equal to the rating given. The room is so worn down...old furnitures that reminded me of the 70s. Because it is located on a hill with scenic view of patong, the road up to thr hotel is very steep, not accessible by wheelchair...only cars and trained pair of legs to walk up. The only positive feedback I can give during my stay in the Senses is the pool. It is well maintained. Sorry no photos taken. Since the hotel is so old, I do not want to waste my storage space with their photos.

We stayed at the villas who are working with senses. They allowed us access to all of the senses facilities and it was a great place to visit. The gym is small but has great views, we did a couples massage and it was absolutely amazing. It might be the best couples one we’ve done together. Other pros: top notch customer service whenever you need them, upon arrival they greet you nicely and the same upon checkout. If you need any excursions, then Pat can help assist, she was very nice and communication was easy to get things booked.

Visited from 13-18 Aug and my birthday was on 15 Aug. On my birthday, I was waiting for a cab at the hotel lobby and the hotel reception staff surprised me with a slice of cake and sang me the birthday song. I have been Phuket several times and other parts of Thailand but never received such exceptional service. The hotel staff were friendly and eager to help with whatever issues we had (the toilet backed up due to us eating too much) and they sent a handyman down to resolve the issue immediately. The room was big, clean and hygienic. Pool looked exactly like it does in the photos. Beautiful resort, hope that traffic picks up again after Covid. Extremely pleased with the service and hotel amenities, I will definitely come back again.

Absolutely beautiful resort. The staff were super accomodating and very polite. Lots of restaurants and bars around and a very quick drive down to Patong Beach. The Villa was beautiful and exactly as describe on their website. Would stay here again!

Late checking in due to the previous guest make us waiting for one hour straight from 3.00-4.00 pm without anything served not even plain water. 5 mins before the room is ready we’ve got the cocktail coupon as a compensation. Hotel was built up high on mount so we need to call the lobby every time we would like to go down. Unimpressive decoration got my friends with Trypophobia a bit upset. Literally it’s a distant & dim sea view which doesn’t worth mentioning. When it’s getting dark the lighting is so depressing and it’s noisy from cicada and night insects something as if we’re camping. Most important of all, the breakfast doesn’t taste good (not even the orange juice). The receptionist barely understand anything even though we’re Thai who speak Thai. There are two reasons I still give 3 stars is the driving staff and bellboy who are very polite and skillful. Also, I’m obsessed with the shower system (but not the conditioning shampoo quality).

We stayed here for 3 nights during January 2024. We enjoyed a room with Sea View and balcony right above the pool. The food at the hotel was delicious especially the Salmon Steak and Pizzas! My wife is very picky with food but she was always happy at the hotel :) I do not remember her name but one of the staff at the bar/restaurant spoke good english and was very very kind. If you are reading this, we thank you again! (Pizza Margarita and Salmon Steak couple :)) ) The hotel is on a steep hill, but they bring you up to the hotel with a buggy waiting for you at the bottom of the hill. Walking to Patong Beach takes around 15 minutes and is not that far from the hotel. The breakfast was enough for us.

Good location, close to Bangla street. Balcony gives you a great view of the sea and pool side. Very spacious rooms, clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff.

We arrived to find out we had no hot water for 6 days!!!. For the price I would have expected to be able to shower with hot and cold water. The staff are very friendly. One staff member, Oil did everything she could to improve our stay. We would have moved to another hotel, however both my sister and I arrived unwell. Oil offered support and help until we felt better. The accommodation was lovely. Rooms also great. House keeping were a bit hit and miss with providing things such as toilet paper and coffee etc. Pool was lovely. Breakfast good variety and super friendly staff. Even the young man at the bottom of hill organised our lift up the hill to the accommodation each time we went out. We ended up having a lovely hoilday. Would we stay there again.!!! It would depend on the deal.

Rooms are good and spacious , but the location of the hotel is a little too far from the main area , even tho they have shuttle service , its limited to the timings . only 4 times were available. Also the price for which i had booked was too high , according to the location and hotel , can find better hotels nearby to the main area.

Honestly the place was amazing & perfect. Pros 1. the private pool was big & the place was very private & roomy 2. the staff were very helpful & the room had all the amenities we needed 3.the private pool in the villa definitely had alot of privacy & is good for couples Cons 1. you need a buggy from the hotel to ge to your villa or down the hill to the street which was okay , because they arrived fast when i stayed. 2.you can slightly hear music sounds from the city, the sounds were low but they can be heard from the room.

The Senses Resort Patong - a luxury hotel with a cool view of Patong City and the Andaman Sea The Senses Resort Patong is a 4.5-star resort located on the hillside of Patong Beach, the center of Phuket travelers, and opened in 2014, and in 2018, the resort became larger with the addition of pool villas. The total number of rooms is now 136 with Pool Villa added. The rooms and facilities are so luxurious that some hotel reservation sites classify The Sense Resort Patong as five-star. The biggest advantage of The Senses Resort Patong is the room and view. The rooms are so large that the basic room is over 47sqm, and the view is good. Most rooms have Patong City View and Ocean View. The reason why it is difficult to classify The Sense Patong Resort as a five-star resort is because the fitness club and kids club are small. At the Senses Resort Patong, you can see Jungceylon and Big-c from all rooms. The hotel runs four free shuttles a day to Jungceylon and Bang-la Road from the entrance of the hotel to Jungceylon and Big-c, 1.5 kilometers to Bang la Road and 2 kilometers to Patong Beach. Around the hotel, there are many facilities that travelers need, including 4 convenience stores, 1 Tops Super, a mini-mart, massage shops, local restaurants, and laundry shops.

For a five star, it wasn’t the best experience . The staff was polite but not warm or welcoming. The ac in the room was so noisy that seemed like we were on a speed boat :( Also one of us had a gluten allergy and the first day though being a five star they had no options for gluten free in breakfast. The next on notifying we got a few slices of gluten free bread. We took a sea facing room. In the night you can’t see it, but in the day you can make out the ocean. The pool is very nice .

Advantages: 1- breakfast is nice. There is vegetarian options for Muslims 2- shuttle to the beach 3- pool is nice Disadvantage: 1- there is a problem with the electricity it keeps turning off 2- there is no AC in the aisles 3- electrical spark from the plug while my phone was in the charger

Hotel is great. I can't praise the staff enough. So helpful. Genuinely caring and go out of their way to get to know you. You won't meet a nicer group of people. Hotel is close to everything. Free shuttle to the beach during the day. To and fro. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nicely laid out, and the 1st floor has private room access to the pool. The pool is a great size and always lovely and warm. Food is really nice. Prices like everything in Thailand are pretty good. World definitely recommend this. 100% going to use this resort again.

Great and friendly service. Staff are very helpful one of them was Paw. She arranged everything for our stay and it all went smoothly. Pat was also very helpful with arranging the best tours so if need info for the tours Pat is your girl. The boys were also very nice and prompt service all the time. Staff at the buffet were very good too. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back here next time

The resort made our vacation unforgettable. The staff was really nice and helpful. The Villa was clean, beautiful and really comfortable with a big and clean pool. I would give it more stars if I could, really recommend this resort.

Rooms have a terrific view of the city and sea. Rooms are spacious, with balcony. Food is nice. Female chef at the breakfast buffet live counter is a bit rude. Staff does not understand English well. For example, if you ask for bath towel from housekeeping, then they send toothpaste for you! Hotel is on a hill but the best part is you can ask them to drop you up and down from hotel reception via golf cart available at their property. Bangla market, and beach is at a walkable distance of 10 mins. They do take a refundable deposit of 2k baht at check-in. Breakfast buffet needs to have vegetarian options, can't eat just bread everyday.

There is no warm water for showering due to a malfunction and they will not tell you until after you log in to the room. Be careful not to lose the room key, otherwise you will pay a fine of 400 thb, this is unfair and a way to steal your money, They have a big perennial tree which is great

We had a hot water problem throughout my stay. The hot water wasn’t working. And the hotel is way too old. The sockets in the room can not be used as it the making is specific to their own appliances. We had to take turns charging our phones from just one socket. Extremely frustrating

Villa with amazing views, rooms and staff. Stayed there for 4 nights with my spouse (both sea view and private pool rooms) and the stay made my trip even more memorable. Pretty close to Patong beach and the famous Bangla Walking street. Food is priced reasonably. They happily accommodated my request for early check-in and late check out.

The place is well built but nothing special. When checking in. The Man at the desk was rude and snobby. The carts take forever so we walked up and down. Food wasn’t great. There are so many other nice resorts to choose from. This felt more like a hotel with a private pool.

  • 1/5 Nassim E. 2 years ago on Google
Make sure you read all the negative reviews before booking. The resort itself is nice but a considerable portion of the staff and more specifically the front desk are highly unprofessional. If you want to be treated rudely by managers, and for them to make mistakes on your bookings and other things, then blame you for it and then after 30 minutes of blaming you realizing that it was their mistake all along and think their apology is going to work, then book this hotel. You get what you pay for. The front desk staff and management is incompetent and ruins the overall nice hotel experience. IG here’s a lot of high quality hotels in the area for the same price range so I recommend all people who want to be treated well to avoid this place. Trust me on this!

I loved it so much. The staff was there for me anytime I called. I left a bag full of gifts. I called them and they delivered my gifts to me personally. That was great service right there. The view was amazing. I was at the villa and having the pool near my room was worth every penny. 5 stars
