If
I
could,
0
rating.
As
a
vegetarian,
my
visit
to
Thai
Pantry
located
at
Phuket
Marriott,
Merlin
beach
was
a
disappointing
and
disheartening
experience.
It's
especially
disheartening
that
such
an
incident
occurred
at
a
restaurant
under
the
Marriott
hotel
brand,
known
for
its
high
standards.
Despite
ordering
vegetarian
dishes,
I
was
served
chicken
in
the
fried
rice.
The
head
chef
admitted
to
the
mistake
and
offered
to
replace
the
dish.
This
is
ridiculous
that
instead
of
apologizing
they
are
offering
to
replace
the
dish
and
waive
the
bill.
Also,
it
raises
concerns
about
the
kitchen's
attention
to
detail
and
staff
training.
While
mistakes
can
happen,
serving
the
wrong
dish,
especially
when
it
comes
to
dietary
preferences,
is
a
serious
lapse.
It
prompts
questions
about
the
adequacy
of
the
chef's
training
and
the
restaurant's
quality
control.
Customers
expect
a
certain
level
of
competence
in
handling
specific
dietary
requests,
and
such
errors
can
significantly
impact
the
overall
dining
experience.
As
a
reputable
brand,
customers
expect
a
certain
level
of
excellence,
and
such
errors
can
undermine
the
overall
trust
and
satisfaction
associated
with
the
Marriott
name.
As
itโs
essential
for
the
hotel
management
to
address
such
matters
promptly
to
uphold
the
brand's
reputation
and
ensure
that
guests
receive
the
quality
service
they
anticipate,
I
urged
the
management
to
reinforce
training
to
ensure
the
culinary
team
meets
the
expected
standards
and
prevent
similar
negative
experiences
for
other
vegetarian
customers.
