The room does have a view, but the grounds are completely unkempt and trash ridden. The beach in front of the hotel is dirty. The rooms are old. The staff doesn't care about maintaining the place or catering to customers. There are septic tanks on the walkway to the rooms, which made our walk to the room unenjoyable and smelly. Location is on the worst & dirtiest part of the entire Kamala beach. Do not recommend.

Great atmosphere. Nice balcony with a sea view (which is not literally a direct beach access but right smack on the beach) bit confusing drop-off point so better to put “mamma-mia” when you call a grab

Perfect location, within a 1- 2 minute walk to everything Kamala beachfront has to offer! Friendly, professional staff with great English skills. Clean, neat, updated rooms that are very well kept. Out of 4 weeks in Phuket and 4 different hotels, this was the absolute best place we stayed in. Beachfront view (the hotel is quite literally on the beach) and a balcony. The breakfast was really tasty with choice options. The Mamma Mia restaurant is literally right outside and there are tons of other restaurants right by so no room service or worries about where to eat out is needed. The staff was not only lovely, but trustworthy and helpful. And the price is excellent. Well worth it!

Excellent location, the owner was onsite and everything was very welcoming. The location on the sea was perfect for the nights rest and relaxation. I could easily stay long-term and would visit again whenever I am in the area. Wai, the young lady behind the desk was always friendly and helpful. Kudos to her.

Lovely place on the beach front. Rooms cleaned everyday. The staff are a credit, they go above and beyond and made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful views from the room and balcony. Great location in Kamala. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Some small issues such as with satellite TV which wasn't available, but I wasn't there for that. Very friendly and welcoming receptionist. Will stay there longer next time ☺️

Great spot to base yourself for either a short or long stay. Best margaritas on the beach and best prices. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Top location, mostly quiet (Chinese New Year was loud, but would have been loud anywhere). Only issue we had was with water pressure and temp. for the shower struggled to get the sand off but wouldn't stop us staying here again.

I've come to stay here adjusting my expectations after reading all the reviews. This is a small set up run by family members and closed ones. The rooms are exactly what I need.... and I don't need frills. Sea facing i.e. beach side, clean, spacious, a balcony, workable washroom, and great staff. Be warned, its not a 4/5 star hotel to begin with. So, take it with a pinch of salt. Just s small downside though...the dirt debris in front of our balconies by the Sea side should be gotten rid off. Otherwise, my best little nest in Kamala. 👌 I m hoping to come back soon....

Stay here for 7 days. Really comfortable place. The staffs are so nice and friendly. The room is very clean and comfortable, just like coming home. Great location, just in front of the beach with great view. Very relaxing at the balcony. About the downsides, bad smells come out from the drain in the bathroom, need to cover it with the plastic bag and heavy stuff. The soundproof wasn’t great, you can basically hear EVERYTHING from the hallway and from other rooms, which means sleep with the sound of neighbor’s party at nights, been woken up by the sound of staffs talking happily and the sound of cleaning in the morning. Felt like home, but didn’t sleep so well like the vacation I need.

Brilliant little beach front property. The basics done very well: air-con, cleanliness, comfy bed, great view, friendly staff. If you want plush then visit the intercontinental but if you want tremendous value for money then this is the place for you.

Not lavish but right on beach quite clean and tranquil

I was in Benjamin Hotel forvthevfirst time 2018, six nigths from 5/03/2018 at a first floor side room and 2022 , seven nigths ,from 28/06/2022 also at first floor with beach front view excellent , rooms are big , needing some renovation, but good price for excellent location..

Right on the beach and within walking distance to everything. Staff are fantastic. Rooms are a bit dated, but very clean. Walls are thin. Views are fantastic.

This was the most lovely place to stay. I got swineflu on Phi Phi island after which we came here. The staff were so so helpful and lovely. They organized a doctor to come out and see me in my room. The reception staff checked up on my every day. The breakfast was also lovely and a unique experience right on the beach. Loved staying here.

Only good thing about this place is the beach view from the balcony. But this, one would expect given its price at the higher side. Room was okay. Bathroom was small and dirty. The electric plugs in the room were broken. I felt that the resort is under-staffed. Breakfast option is limited (3 choices, no local option)and even room service was mentioned on the booking site, the lady in the restaurant appeared to be quite reluctant. While walking on the beach, we found a dirty drain flowing into the beach in front of the resort. I won’t recommend this hotel.

Oh! Due to the new photos this place changes a lot. Was there in 2014. It is a pity that the facade has been slightly changed. But, if the staff has remained the same, then this is a wonderful place that I intend to visit in the future.
