If
you
are
like
me,
you
might
have
found
Go
Fresh
Organic
Cafe
from
searching
for
‘vegan’
or
‘vegetarian’
in
Google
Maps.
That’s
how
we
ended
up
here.
There
are
many
vegetarian/vegan
restaurants
in
Phuket.
What
makes
this
one
special?
Read
on
and
I’ll
tell
you
why.
1.
The
location.
It’s
on
a
quiet
rural
road.
There
is
not
the
loud
noise
of
cars
and
bikes
passing
right
in
front
of
you.
You
are
surrounded
by
trees
and
the
outdoor
eating
area
is
shaded.
More
so,
there
is
parking
off
the
street—something
that
is
hard
to
find
in
Phuket.
If
you
have
a
car
(or
motorbike),
you’ll
have
no
stress
parking
in
the
lot
right
next
to
the
restaurant
and
enjoying
the
quiet
and
peaceful
location.
2.
The
owner.
Oi
is
absolutely
phenomenal.
She
is
so
personable,
so
friendly
and
so
fun
to
talk
to.
She
has
an
amazing
personality
that
makes
you
just
want
to
spend
more
time
with
her.
The
crazy
thing
about
her
restaurant
is
that
it’s
only
been
open
for
1
year
at
the
time
I
write
this.
To
have
this
many
good
Google
reviews
in
that
amount
of
time
tells
you
something—not
only
about
the
quality
of
the
food,
or
her,
but
the
entire
experience.
3.
The
menu/food.
The
food
is
unreal.
There
is
a
Thai
and
Western
Vegetarian/Vegan
menu
that
changes
every
few
weeks
and
our
large
group
tried
many
of
the
options
on
the
menu.
We
can
safely
say
that
you
won’t
go
wrong
with
any
of
your
selections.
As
vegans/vegetarians,
it
took
us
quite
a
while
to
make
a
decision
because
there
was
so
much
that
looked
good.
In
the
end,
we
ordered
way
more
than
our
stomachs
could
hold
and
we
had
to
take
away
the
rest.
All
of
it
was
good.
So
good,
in
fact,
that
the
next
thing
happened.
4.
Private
Cooking
Class.
After
trying
some
of
the
items
on
the
menu
(such
as
her
tempeh
and
cold
noodle
soup),
we
commented
how
unique
and
amazing
it
was
and
asked,
“How
do
you
make
tempeh
like
this?”
Oi
then
mentioned
she
could
teach
us
if
we
wanted.
Two
days
later,
we
found
ourselves
back
at
Go
Fresh
on
a
wonderful
Friday
morning
having
a
private
cooking
class.
We
got
to
select
4
dishes
of
our
choosing.
She
said
we
could
also
ask
about
dishes
not
on
her
current
menu
and
she
might
be
able
to
teach
us
those
as
well.
We
did
that,
and
selected
2
dishes
from
her
current
menu
(cold
noodle
soup
with
tempeh
and
tofu
bomb)
and
2
dishes
that
were
not
on
her
menu,
but
always
wanted
to
know
how
to
cook
(pomelo
salad
and
laab
tofu).
We
spend
3
hours
with
Oi
(and
her
assistant
Anne)
cooking
under
the
shade
of
the
trees
and
have
such
a
lovely
time.
We
learned
so
much
from
her
that
we
would
not
have
been
able
to
learn
anywhere
else.
She
answered
so
many
of
our
questions
about
ingredients
and
techniques,
and
gave
us
such
wonderful
tips
that
we
can
use
back
in
our
home.
We
made
one
dish
at
a
time—eating
half
of
it
after
it
was
ready,
and
then
she
boxed
up
the
other
half
for
us
to
take
away.
3
hours
later,
our
bellies
and
souls
are
full
and
we
have
enough
food
to
last
us
the
next
3
meals
at
home.
For
everything
you
get
(education,
food,
experience,
etc)
it
was
totally
worth
the
price
and
we
would
bring
our
family
back
for
another
cooking
class
in
the
future.
I
cannot
recommend
this
place
enough.
The
quality
and
freshness
of
food
is
outstanding.
The
chill
vibe
and
shaded
outside
eating
area
is
such
a
delightful
change
from
the
busy
streets
of
Phuket.
And
Oi
herself
is
an
amazingly
wonderful
human
being
who
is
equal
parts
inspiring,
humorous
and
humble.
If
you
made
it
this
far
in
the
review,
please
go
and
check
Go
Fresh
Organic
Cafe
out
yourself.
The
only
thing
we
regret
is
not
having
found
it
earlier
in
our
trip.
