Average score only because it was average at our time visiting. The mart was overpriced while there was a 7 eleven nearby walking distance for much better price. The plaza has stores not up and ready for business yet. Looked like it needs a bit of TLC.

Awful place. When we visited there were three young elephants tied up while their owners sat there waiting for tourists to give them money for pictures. EVEN THOUGH it’s illegal for elephants in Thailand to walk on roads, here they are standing on the hot concrete when they should be resting at a sanctuary in the wild. Do not come here. Absolutely DO NOT support this animal abuse. Also this plaza is a ghost town with limited food options, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere to support a local Thai family restaurant or just stay at your resort.

Overpriced fast food, and they have poor elephants chained up and performing tricks for tourists - complete animal cruelty.

Good shopping centre with supermarket that has fresh fruit, alcohol. Bill Bentley for all sport and awesome happy hours prices. Tour guide company as well. Will be better when expansion has finished.

A little bit better then turtle village but still overprice for the quantity and service, it's better to eat at the nearby resort.

Seafood much expensive for this low standard restaurant. 100g lobster 400bat more than double as in best restaurants in Patong, 1 tiger prawn 1200 bat. For this money I could get an complete tiger prawn meal 5 star gourmet floor KaDeWe Berlin. The food here isnt realy good and not realy fresh, no thank you.

Only leaving 5 stars for the plaza because the plaza has Ayam Boy. This restaurant doesn’t even appear on Google but it is SOOOOOO good. If you’re a tourist visiting and getting a little tired of sea food and traditional Thai food, then their fried chicken is literally exactly what you’re looking for. It’s amazing.

the salon that does nails with the big barber sign outside, I can't find it online to review, but avoid, I was charged more than my nails cost in the Uk and they peeled the day after.

I ordered the cashew nuts chicken which was quite nice, my partner ordered the chicken satay which was a disaster but also was a disaster in a much nicer restaurant so I have to conclude it is not a thai strong point. Dry and stringy and tasteless. Stick to thai specialties and you should be fine. Ok option for lunch if you are going to buy some alcohol from the supermarket next door to avoid the outrageous prices for alcohol in the hotels. As for the alcohol, we bought the cheapest New Zealand white wine we could find (at 16 euros a bottle) and although it says there is 11.5% alcohol, I would say it probably has 2.5%, drank half of the bottle and did not get even a buzz so mind what you're buying/getting. The wine situation in this part of the world is really quite depressing.

New offering here is Sushi Maza: storefront, but friendly staff and delicious sushi at 1/2 the resort price. Fresh, attractive, tasty. Still working out some issues (sometimes have to go next door for drinks), but well worth a try!
