This hotel is amazing. Take the Phuket Smart Bus from airport, pay 100baht and you will stop at Kata Palm bus stop, walk less than 2 min, you reach the Hotel. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Rooms are spacious enough. However surprisingly there is no dental kit or tissue in the hotel. Take note. As for the location is near Kata beach. Walk for like 10 mins, and you can enjoy the beach.

This is a very nice hotel with a beautiful pool and unique decorations. It was a little outside of Phuket and in a smaller town, farther away from the party scene of Phuket . Pros - nice staff, nice decoration, large rooms, beautiful pool (which is closed after 9 and when it is raining), adults only, the hotel room is decorated nicely with the towels made into little bunnies :) Cons - as other reviews have mentioned the fixtures and taps are very worn down and used so they are bubbling and discoloured, the room could have been cleaner but was by no means dirty

This hotel is definitely 5 star quality and probably the nicest within my whole stay in Thailand. Pop and pin went above beyond to be accommodating. Pop was understanding my flight was delayed and let us check out later. Any issue I had, pin did her best to help and had a very sweet warm nature - I will never forget her exceptional service. The pool area is amazing with cocktails for only 99 baht. The rooms are huge with a lovely bath and amazing decor and all the space in it utilised well. The location is perfect with only a 5 min walk to kata beach. The breakfast was nice with eggs made to order, 150 baht extra for breakfast is a bit more affordable then surrounding restaurants in the area so it’s a good option. I’m already looking forward to hopefully returning one day.

We booked this resort because it was adults only, and that was great, but honestly that was surpassed by the sweetness of the service we received. Our room was clean and well made up. We had breakfast each morning in the restaurant and staff was always welcoming and attentive despite it being a buffet style. Special acknowledgment for Pim. She was so sweet and always ready to help however she can. She even hauled 2 of our suitcases upstairs and wouldn’t let me take anything. She checked on us and how happy we were each time we saw her. She is very friendly and always doing everything in her power to make your stay great. Our last day we came back to adorable elephants made from the towels even. Also, get a lemongrass mojito while you lay out in or around their gorgeous pool. My only regret is not getting a poolside room. We never do because of loud kids, but this hotel was so quiet and peaceful. Cannot recommend this one enough if you want to stay in Kata!

We had a 4 night stay that we did extend our stay for 2 nights. There were a little confusion and hazzle with the extending, but we did found mutual understanding at the end. Staff was overall very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice extra touch was the pillow selection, that you could order special pillows directly to your room. Nice rain shower. The hotel is adult only, and it really shows in the pool area. Area was clean and lovely quiet. Breakfast was basic. Minus was the juices, they were made of consentrate. And the birds sometimes was picking rice from the serving spoons. Hotel was in a quiet area and had restaurants and a park nearby. 5 minute walk to the beach.

From the moment we arrived, reception was great. The cafeteria food selection is decent. But what really was amazing was the level of service of the crew, being very attentive and anticipating the needs of the guests. And how they were so sweet during my partner's birthday even without me telling them. Clearly a very good awareness on their part. Kudos to the team and management. Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints at all.

I rate the hotel 3 stars because the staff was nice and accomodating. Otherwise I would rate it 2 stars. The hotel was understaffed. Our room wasn't properly cleaned. There were mosquitos and ants in the room. My partner killed at least 100 ants while we were there for a week. Forget about leaving snacks in the room. Frankly we were excited to check out. The best part of the hotel is the pool area. About 8 minute walk to kata beach.

Nice hotel, fixtures are slightly dated but very clean and well-maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful ! Very much value for money … and the pool is so inviting !

Our check in was a bit odd, I think they prejudged us by our age & looks because they gave our pool access room to the other couple waiting that were a bit older & dressed better LOL. We eventually got into our booked room & the staff were very nice. The rooms were super clean & beautiful and the location is great! The front desk staff even helped us get a grab car when our transport to the pier abandoned us! Would definitely come back.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was such a wonderful and amazing stay. The staff were very kind and sweet. Excellent hospitality. The rooms were clean and neat. The place was maintained really well. The buffet had varieties and it was really good. There are also many shops nearby if we need anything. The beach is just a 10 minute walk away!

This review is for my visit in September, 2018. It is a very nice resort with friendly and helpful staff. Our superior pool view room was clean and the balcony had a great sight. I recommend the option with breakfast, it was totally worth it. The hotel's location is very close to the beach, just a couple of minutes by foot. There are also decent restaurants close by. We stayed there in September during the low season, it was very calm and quiet. Definitely a recommendation to everyone who enjoys a calm and relaxed stay.

We stayed 6 nights at Chanalai Romantica. As soon as we checked in the room, there was a water leaking from the ceiling, staffs changed our room immediately and felt very sorry for what had happened. We were really ok, had a wonderful time during our stay, especially staff named Eye and Pitt were always sweet and adorable. If I were the boss of this resort, I would give them bonus or promotion, because it’s really hard to hire staffs like them who are passionate and always caring about the guests.

Great location (5 min walking to the beach), and the service is the best I have ever had in Phuket! All the staffs are helpful, friendly and they proactively provided great help. For example, when they guided me to the booked room, I just mentioned that if possible I would like to have a quite room, they proactively changed a better room (higher level, with pool view and not facing the street) for me, which was a really warm gesture. The aircon outdoor machine was noisy; they sent a guy very fast and he stayed there till midnight, just to carefully repair it until he made sure that it functioned well. However the room itself can be improved: aircon is noisy, the bed is very humid, the pillow cases all smell like someone just slept on it and never got changed (I guess they were changed, but just because of the humidity the smell remained).

The service and hospitality of Chanalai Romantica is some of the best I have experienced in the world. Every team member is extremely present with you and ensures your stay is of the highest quality. The room itself is very clean and well kept. The food and drinks are fresh and tasty, and housekeeping goes above and beyond to keep amenities and your linens fresh and clean. The location is also great for whatever your needs. Highly recommend as a stay in Phuket.

Worth the money! All the staffs were super friendly, Rooms are very clean and modern. Also well lit. There are lots of eating places just in walking distance. We loved our 1 week stay. The hotel even gave complimentary cake and decor to celebrate our honeymoon. Only the room service food could do a bit better. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel is the best! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Especially the manager gave us a very warm welcome. The room is extraordinary: most comfy bed, big shower, but the biggest plus: the bathtub. Also the swimming pool is perfect: good for swimming, bubble bath on the side and tropical atmosphere with palmtrees. Our balcony was really nice as well. Best stay ever.

Stayed for 5 days and I can say that this is one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at in Phuket. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place. The breakfast was good, as was the restaurant. The rooms and facilities look exactly as they do in the pictures. Amazing experience! My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. We have been traveling in Thailand for 2 weeks now. Chanalai’s service was over the top, the bedrooms look beautiful, the food & drinks are delicious! The free buffet breakfast was amazing! I want to give a big thank you to the staff who treated us like Kings & Queens. Kenny, gave us a romantic dinner the last night we were there! Definitely book the romantic couple’s dinner! Pin was so sweet, Som was so kind, Cake was amazing with taking our pictures! Loved it here!

Chanalai Romantica Resort is a little gem, tucked away off the main road in Kata Beach. Well appointed spacious rooms, with large showers and bathrooms. A quiet and tranquil pool area perfect for a lazy day, along with deliciously refreshing pool side cocktails from the bar. The staff are absolutely wonderful, extremely hard working, and will go out of their way to make your stay everything you want it to be. Special mentions to Pin, Eye, Cake, Som, Ben, and Kenny, for making our stay so perfect and memorable. So much love to you all and thank you so much. Ben 10 and Miss Jane.

Room is big and spacious - very nice! But there wasn't room cleaning done and the things we asked for from room service were not delivered.

Was a great place for a relaxing week the only issue was if you have a hire car there is only enough room for 6 cars. Bouy who is 1 of the main helpers there was fantastic and gave us plenty of places to go and visit, and also where to shop and buy things. Overall I would recommend to all future lookers that are wanting to stay as no children allowed making the place quiet to just relax next to the pool and have a drink.

Probably my favourite hotel in Thailand. The rooms here are fantastic and absolutely worth the price. Though the food is somewhat average, the excellent service and well maintained facilities take the cake

Stayed here for 1 week and the resort and staff were amazing. The pool was very clean, the room was very spacious, and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. I would also give PIM credit for making our stay extra awesome. She checked in with us every morning at breakfast about anything we needed and gave us advice on where to explore everyday. The buffet breakfast was okay, lots of options.

Only good things to say about this place; the people, atmosphere, breakfast, drinks, service - everything was amazing. The reception desk is ready to help with everything (eg. we wanted to make a massage reservation but no english was spoken there so we got help). I definitely recommend this place, especially for a couple who doesn’t love the presence of kids that much.

Service is very good. The staff are great and helpful. Breakfast is right for the price. The room is big and comfortable.

They have delicious breakfast for 200 THB every morning until 11am. "All you can eat" breakfast. And the staff is very nice.
