Vellore new bus stand which connects all major cities in tamilnadu. But sad thing is very poor cleanliness and every where you can open urinary spots. At the movement you enter into the bus stand dirty smell of urine spread in air. You can fine paid toilets but that are in utter dirty. You can fine near by good hotels like alankar, saravana bhavan and many more. Food is good in small hotels also. The are local buses connecting katpadi Railway station which you can fine Western side of bus stand

Vellore is one of the municipal corporation in tamil nadu. But this bus station does not suits for the status. It is smelling unpleasant, lacks of chairs for waiting passengers. SETC bus stop area even doesn't have a shelter for passengers. Toilets are very poor, better avoid to use them.
