I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Deepu's arranged boat ride. Despite our late arrival, they graciously accommodated us for a 2-hour ride. The journey offered breathtaking views of the mesmerizing mangrove arch and captivating canals, culminating in a truly spectacular sunset. Munroe has undoubtedly become my favorite destination on the planet. I highly recommend this unforgettable experience.

Our 2.5-hour Shikara boat ride in the morning was truly unforgettable. If you find yourself in Varkala with some spare time, this experience is a must-try. The cost per boat at 1000 rs felt reasonable. Safety is a top priority here, as we were required to wear life jackets as per government regulations. Pro tip: aim for a ride between 6 - 9:40 in the morning or after 4 in the evening for the best experience. Carry your water bottles, umbrella, as it gets very sunny and sweaty.

Had an amazing experience here..... The nature is so beautiful and mesmerizing..... The sunset view was picturesque.... I had gone with my friends and it was literally worth watching the island... The cost of boating was below minimal amount.... Even the guide who had came with us was so humble and polite..... He was so patiently with us showing the entire island and even stopping for taking photos..... Definitely worth visiting it.... The evening times and even morning are the best times to vist munroe island and explore the place...

We were taken on the trip by Mr. Aromal. A very friendly person who takes care of the guests very well. The price was reasonable. I would suggest tourists to visit during weekdays so that you have enough time to enjoy nature and capture memories. Overall it was a wonderful experience in a good price.

We get him on guide of us most of time he was not available good thing go sunrise 🌅and shikara ride also scenic mundro canoeing starting from narrow canals and middle lake and finally reach same point different way we check so many agencies but nobody have circle trip ,thanks deepu and his team to give a wonderful journey.... Visited Mundro Island on Apr 04-2022 for a sunrise tour 3 hours. Scenic Mundro should be the first choice when you look for boating in Mundro Island. Deepu, who is the organizer of Scenic Mundro is very friendly. Boat driver who was arranged was so patient and showed all Beauty of Mundro.

It is a wonderful experience. The organizers took all safety precautions and followed covid protocols as well. They organize a detailed round trip across canals, river, lake and pond, crossing through the mangroves. The best time to go would be early in the morning or in the evening. It is definitely value for money..

We visited munroe island for a morning canoe trip along the backwaters. We contacted Deepu the evening before and he organised everything. And the 2 hour trip cost only 1000Rs and Lolipop was our tour guide for the morning and was brilliant, very informative and friendly.and he is good photographer.The backwaters are absolutely stunning and I highly recommend this to anyone staying in Kollam must visit place Munroe island. 😸🫶

At 6 o'clock I boarded the senic munroe boat and took a 360 degree tour through the small alleys in the island and in the meantime had a cup of tea from an another small island when I came back to the room, I saw a different world of birdsong, sunrise,greenary etc...Like In Europe, the boating under the small bridges is very amazing . the journey with scenic mundro boating service is great experience

This is one of the amazing experience. The best time to go for a canoe ride is morning around 5 to 5:30. So that you can enjoy the sunrise and no bright sunlight. Aromal(Canoe expert) put nice AR Rahman songs to make the ride more appealing. Thanks Scenic Munro for arranging.

The best experience you can have in Munroe Island. Deepu and his team will make sure you have an amazing time in Munroe. The canoe tour during the sunset is must try experience in Kerala. It's simply soothing and tranquil. The trail passes through small canals and then opens up to the Ashtamudi lake passing through some scenic views and the famous mangrove arcs. Definitely give it a try when in Kerala. It's different and offbeat.

Greetings from Romania! The area is incredibly beautiful and the tour is definitely worth it. If you are going during the evening time be sure to bring some mosquito repellent.

Mr Deepu from Scenic Mundro provides exceptional service. He not only accepted my booking the day before, but he also made sure to assign an operator when we arrived at his designated place 30 minutes early. Though Aromal (who has rave reviews) was our first choice, he was already booked with another group. We rode with Lambo, who was likewise pleasant and cheerful the entire time. We stopped the canoe at all scenic sites; the only thing missing was that he couldn't speak Hindi or English, so communication was difficult, but we got by with hand gestures. The entire experience was breathtaking. Start at 6 a.m. so the canoe voyage can be completed on schedule and you can witness beautiful sunrise on Ashtamudi lake. If travelling in your own vehicle to this place, then parking can be taken care by Mr Deepu.

Beautiful experience and wonderful host. Our canoe operator was Aromal (Lollipop) who was best in the business. He was a great navigator, gave us fun facts and clicked great pictures. He also played amazing old Hindi songs to make it the perfect vibe. It started raining heavily in the middle and he was quick to park us in an island and provide shelter. We started post that in light rain with an umbrella. He cleaned the boat for us after the rain. Top notch

This guy was awesome. He came all the way to Kallummootil Jangar jetty to help us get to the spot were the boat ride starts. It's next to a canal and you can park a car there safely. The boat, a "thoni", or the classic Kerala row boat was waiting there with an adorable appoopan. And we set out for an extremely relaxing 2hr boat ride through the canals, the lake, the Kallada river and back to a spot. The boat ride even gets exciting a few times as it crosses some obstacles of sorts where you cross really low hanging bridges. Totally worth it!
