4 star for the ambience! But unexpectedly the guy who took our order doesn’t know the exact menu what they have in the card. He was struggling to explain how the dish will look or cooked!!! Weird they need correct this. Absolutely loved the Mutton Chops (Highly Recommended) which blended with Ghee flavour. And the Mutton Biriyani where the meat got cooked very well. Like the Chicken 65 flavour. But unfortunately Chicken Biriyani wasn’t good.

Agra chicken is a must try and when it comes to buhari you can't go without eating biryani can you??

Service person very hurrying to take order, he is not giving time to choose menu, relatively very less crowded, he is very hurrying to go another table, if we change the order immediately he is showing angry face, dishes also not that much worthy, drumstick chicken please don't try, chicken briyani worst taste, only relief is prawn briyani, thandoori taste good, fried rice waste, outside beda is tastier than all foods in this place. Please think twice befor you go .

Visited this restaurant on the way to home. The restaurant is located on the side of the road, they have wallet parking in it. A ok type restaurant, we ordered thandoori 🍗 and mutton briyani, butter naan and it's side Chicken tikka masala. Briyani was awesome and all the spices are mixed well and marinated with mutton well. Mutton pieces are well cooked, perfectly matched with its onion raitha and gravy. Chicken tikka masala some what over cooked and sweety. But it is anyway matched partially with butter naan. Finally finished with falloda......tasty one. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

While the food was wonderful and was available in a good quantity, The service has somewhat let down the experience considering the fact that we had to wait almost 20 minutes for a food we ordered in the middle of our meal , so that's an issue they can improve on

Visited yesterday with family for lunch, not sure what sick food they served we are down with diarrhea fever and body pain. Fortunately my kid haven't ate anything, can't even imagine what if he had. People and food they serve is so pathetic and unhygienic. They kitchen and how they handle used plates ( throwing leftover food and plates in same basket to rot for a day and serve again by just rinsing it). When you complain about food they are not to Willing to accept or listen, they just want to replace it or not bill it. Customers are not complaining for free food, customers complain because they trusted the place to eat and want it to be rectified, so that someone else is not affected. Un refrigerated rotten chicken either grilled or deep fried and served. Day 2 : me and my wife admitted to hospital

It was a great place. They had this beautiful ambiance and an excellent service. They treated us so well. The time for the preparation was not long. The taste was exquisite. The washrooms were very neat. They check the temperature and sanitize us properly before we enter - which many restaurants are not doing off late. The restaurant is really worth the money.

Restaurant has a pleasant ambience..Had a worst biryani experience in life..They were serving Raita (It’s like Raita Paste) 🤮🤮 I recommend not to order biryani ever from this restaurant especially for people from Andhra

One among the Buhari chain of hotels, best place for non veg food lovers. The cuisine served are delicious and the appearance is eye catching. This restaurant is know for its chicken biryani. The ambience is appealing. Parking is in front of the restaurant.

Buhari has its own legend, but this branch doesn't meet the expectation. As usual we went for mutton biryani and chicken biryani both of the biriyani were tasting ok. I have tasted better biryani in other branches. The service was really below average.

Mutton soup was very good, biriyani was ok mutton chukka was good, fish fry was not fresh so we returned it. Even the cococola we ordered had some kind of black stuff.

We had both mutton and chicken biryani and it was true feast for the senses. The aroma alone is enough to stir your appetite. Nice family restaurant . We ordered chicken 90, briyani , shrimp fry, garlic nan and panneer tikka masala. All the items tasted good and rightly priced and good portion for the cost.

Visited on 13-Sep-2023. Food was really nice and tasty. Price is acceptable for the Quantity they provide. Need to improve the service. We ordered many dishes and in one of the order they given Mayonisse which is not sufficient and we asked for some more but they charged for that.

I very fed up to write this...I'm not a reviewer but as a common man I have some rights and duties for those who seeking a good thing...once we friends went to famous hotel branch in ashoknagar...we felt very bad experience with the quality of food and service...hope u people losing the customer soon...

Tastes OK. Definitely not up to Buhari standards. Chicken Biriyani ordered was not hot and tasted average. Ordered other items, it also tasted average, nothing exceptional. Nothing exceptional.

Was not overall satisfied with dinining experience. Ordered for Spe ial mutton biryani but there was hardly mutton pieces were there rest all Bone and Fat contents.I cant understand why it was called Special Mutton Biryani. Spending 360 rs for khuska is not affordable for a common man. Also service was not satisfied. Lack of supervision.

Never seen such a worst restaurant ever. They just want customers to enter the shop. Once entered, no one could even bother about us. Took more than 10minutes to give a menu card. Then we have been calling the waiter to place orders but no one care to see us. Best part is our table is just next to the waiter station. After about 20 to 30 minutes, we decided to walk out and no one is interested to ask us why. The hotel doesn't look like in the picture. Not at all. Very run down place and dirty. Will not step in again!!! P.S I couldn't post a review with zero star, that's the reason I give one. Wish they have negative stars.

Probably one of the over-hyped restaurants in Chennai. This review probably applies to almost all Buhari outlets except the mount road branch. Most of the time, they don't have the items mentioned in the menu. The biriyani is less than average and their so-called signature chicken 65 is a joke, you get better options in roadside restaurants. Most of the items are not made how it is supposed to be and the waiters normally don't know what's the difference in each item. The pricing is too high given the quality and quantity of food. Definitely not my choice if you want to try south indian cuisine or any cuisine in fact.

For non enjoyers and north like flavour one can visit the place. Ambience is dated and delivery time is kind of ok when we went it was 3 pm with no customers it took sometime so not sure during peak hours. I though being eggiterian had some egg delicacy

Biriyani was normal Chicken 90 was tooooo gooood Dessert options were restricted with caramel Custard alone which was our worst experience there. Seats were not that good And we were placed near wash basin and the car parking was limited. Hence less rating on atmosphere.

It was a good experience in Buhari. It was an gloomy evening, we went for the dinner. It was very meagerly crowded. We ordered our food, but starter was served late, before which our main course was served at our table. After 10 minutes we got our starters. Taste of the food was good and could be improved some what. The waiters were fully from north or east India, so they were not able to understand our language and emotions in the best way. But they tried in their style.

Taste of Briyani is not same at all days. Differs a lot between Sunday and Monday. Also chicken 65 is now called chicken95 which I am not aware. When ordered for 65 they gave us a different dish which doesn't taste good. So be careful in selecting the menu and the day to eat.

The ambience was too good. The staffs helped us to our seats. The food taste was awesome. But they took a long time to bring the food. The quantity of the food was good and quality of the food was tooo good. I enjoyed the dessert however the portion offered was less. Felt like the prices were too costly. However overall it is a good place to catch up (if your wallet is full).

Worst! Cockroach inside food parcel.Never expected this from Buhari Ashok Nagar -Chennai.Ordered mutton paya at Ashok Nagar branch as take away. Found cockroach inside the food. Urge the FSSAI-food and safety Dept wing of TN to take necessary action against the hotel management and bring to notice that quality and health safety parameters are compromised and puts the health of the customer at risk. Food was really tasty nd yummy, but shud be tasted via online order, such a worst service, I had experienced. It's said as vallet parking, but driver not ready to take the vehicle, may be cz of heavy crowd. Inside the hotel very very worst service, one fellow to handle 10 tables, he was attending us, so wen v asked abt tht to the supervisor, he was arrogant and asked, wat v need, v asked for briyani, face to face he said, no briyani, shall I gv u the bill, as v r in hungry, v ordered fr paratha and in tht mean time, found he is serving briyani to other tables... never faced such worst hospitality in any restaurants... decided nvr to visit Buhari and also recommend my fellas not to visit

WRONG ITEM SENT - I had ordered chicken 65 via Swiggy, but Buhari had sent some black burnt chicken with bones to my home. At Buhari website menu, Chicken 65 - Cost Rs 310 it is written as "Medium Spicy Succulent chicken chunks dipped in a seasoned batter and fried to golden perfection served with a dip."
