This was by far the best place I stayed at during my travels in Montenegro. If I could give 6 stars I would. Really good value for the money, the room is spacious, clean and cozy, mine had a nice balcony with a breathtaking view of Sveti Stefan (as I requested when I booked) they even pamper you with a complementary bottle of local wine in the room. The restaurant is really nice with an amazing view as well, and their food is probably the best I had in Montenegro, many options and lots of local dishes to try. Breakfast was included and it was delicious as well, everything so fresh and tasty. The location is perfect just a few minutes walk from the beach. But the best thing here was the people, the friendliest staff that I found in Montenegro, always with a big smile and go out of their way to help with every single question and request you may have. I cannot recommend this place enough, it was the best.

I've been in Sveti Stefan for over a week now, and eaten here maybe 4 or 5 times. Reasonable prices, lovely food and great staff. Grilled calamari is my favorite, for 10 euro, served with a potato and spinach (I think) mash, lemon, and a separate sauce of garlic and olive oil. Just delicious. Separate smoking and non-smoking areas, both outside. Highly recommend.

The most perfect restaurant on this coast! Superlatively qualified staff. The food is very delicious and fresh. The menu of the day proposed by the chef will always be the perfect choice! All dishes are perfect! Vongole - exceptionally perfect! The house wine is gorgeous! We highly recommend it. If the queue is too big at the entrance, don't hesitate to wait, you will not regret it, because you will not find another so perfect place nearby. & of course seaview ...

Positives: terrace with a good view of Sv Stefan islet. Polite waiters. Negatives: food ingredients are not fresh. Cuttlefish in risotto was not chewable (sent back to the kitchen), Parmesan-style cheese was as dry as sand. Stale ingredients are not a surprise when you offer 200+ dishes on a menu of 37 pages. Vila Drago should really cut the menu down and ensure fresh ingredients. If you really must come to this tourist restaurant, stick to vegetables and chicken as the safer options.

Villa Drago is a wonderful place to stay. In everything you feel the experience of the staff, and the whole stay has been great from start to finish. Contact beforehand was clear and adequate, and when a room had some technical difficulties with the water, the team gave us another room with majestic sea view and an extra free night and discount as compensation. Try the food in the restaurant, everything is prepared with love. I would 100% come back to Drago when i am in Montenegro.

High recommendation. Staff were extra friendly and helpful, rooms were brilliant especially with sea view over Sveti Stefani. Price/quality rate is 6/5. The hotels restaurant was also perfect.

I agree with another reviewer, this restaurant is a jack of all trades but master of nothing. With a menu of 38 pages and over 200 dishes to choose, it is hard to imagine their kitchen has fresh ingredients for all of them. I ordered the fish fillet in lemon sauce and white wine, turned out to be swordfish steak, and it is not fresh at all. I don't know how long it has been sitting in the frizer, it must have been a long, long time. The fish fillet is suppose to be tender and juicy, instead it is dry and hard to chew. Plus it had no taste at all. The side dish, mixed vegetables, also is not fresh, and tastes bland. The biggest problem obviously is the quality of the food ingredients, which are not fresh.

Amazing place. Great views, very close to the beaches. Staff are extremely helpful and polite. Its restaurant serves delicious dishes. We are going back to stay there again.

Everything is excellent - location, rooms, cafe, food and stuff 😊 Comfortable, clean, everything needed is available, 5 minutes to the beach, 10-15 minutes to the Sveti-Stefan island. Stuff is very friendly and helpful, would stay here again.

Excelent food and serving by Stamenkovic Boban

It was one of the best accommodation we stayed in. The view was breathtaking to the Sveti Stefan little island. The housekeeping was excellent, although we stayed only for 3 nights, the bed was made and towels were changed every single day. We appreciated the attention to details, like the provided beach towels and a beach umbrella and they even welcomed us with a bottle of wine in the room, we were really impressed by that. Also, the location is perfect, high enough for the view, but close enough that you are at a beach in a few minutes (by stairs, so the climb back may take you more). With parking we were lucky to find free parking on the main road and walk to the villa. Regarding the breakfast, they thought of it perfectly: you can choose one from their restaurant menu from downstairs that comes with coffee or milk and orange juice, so really you get a lot to it. We will also remember the dog from next door that was barking into the night,but that was really not the fault of the hotel. Highly recommend.

Our family stayed at Drago for 9 days. Apartments are impeccable. Plenty of storage and the furniture is in great condition. Our apartment looked even better than it did in the photos on-line. Restaurant service is attentive and goes above and beyond. Big shout out to Boris and the rest of the servers! Boris makes the best kafa on the Adriatic Sea. Housekeeping is thorough and kind. I loved talking to the ladies every day! The view is breathtaking. Stairs to the beach are directly across the street. Bus stop to Budva is also across the street, just a little South of the villa and another bus stop just North. The entire staff was very kind to our children. The owner booked us taxis whenever we needed it, including to and from Tivat airport. Hvala puno za memorije! Mnogo ćete nam nedostajati.
