This hotel is relatively new (October ‘23: 2 years old) and is very modern, with a big dining area, a nice bar, a sunny terrace, impressive pool, and private beach area (with plenty of tables, seats, and sun chairs). The girl behind the reception is very friendly and attentive, and she speaks English. The reception manager of this hotel is hospitable, professional, and kind. He has an open attitude towards feedback. And he speaks English as well. We stayed in room 504, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The views from this room are spectacular. The air conditioned room itself and the modern bathroom are spacious, and extremely clean. It has a nice balcony where you can sit and enjoy the sun. At night this room is extremely quiet, due to proper sound isolation and a heavy door. The beds are absolutely comfortabele due to high quality mattresses and pillows. The breakfast is extensive and offers everything from traditional breakfast dishes and salads, to European croissants. Coffee, tea, water, and fruit juices are also available. You can have lunch and dinner at the hotel. But if you prefer eating in a restaurant, you’ll will find plenty of options within a 5-10 minute walking distance.

Very loud music everywhere especially at meals to the point when you don't hear the person next to you speaking. Food is very, very mediocre, almost bad. Everything is dry and bland with no touch of salt whatsoever. At dinner we were served scraps of fried fish - only heads and tails. I wonder what they do with the better parts... The rooms are pretty fine, however the beach is magnificent with clear and warm water. Avoid the rooms on the side of the highway, because the walls aren't even close being soundproof. Beautiful location but I would advise to chose a different hotel nearby... .

The hotel is located at a very nice place. It’s immediately next to the beach with a private beach. The rooms are clean and the sea view is also good. Although the breakfast choices are very limited, you only get the basics like cucumber, egg, tomatoes, grilled veggies etc. Nothing special. Besides that, the service is also super basic, if not even worse than basic. The room was missing essential items like toothbrushes, vanity packs and razor blades. They said we could always call 100 to the reception if something was needed, so we did that for those missing items. When we called the answer we got was: “no we don’t have those things, there’s a supermarket next to the hotel where you can get it.” For me this is quite poor service to not even have toothbrushes and just to reject a customers request like this. Also when I got stung by a jellyfish and came ask for their help, where wasn’t any and they just sent me away. They also don’t have any blankets in the room, just a thin layer of fabric on the bed.

We're usually very picky and informative when reviewing local and foreign businesses that we visit. This one in particular was a surprise since we visit the nearby area frequently during summer time. Had the morning coffee there by the pool and enjoyed it quite so. Amazing outdoor design, very professional and welcoming staff, and reasonable pricing. Came back by the evening to enjoy cocktails and beer while the live show went on. Would recommend to anyone staying nearby for the night; don't miss this one! Definitely would come back for dinner next time.

HOTEL & ROOM -We received a room with a sea view. The view is really beautiful and the sunsets are beautiful even from the restaurant terrace. The hotel is so new that when we moved into the room, the furniture on the balcony, the trash cans, the glasses for the toothbrushes were still missing, but after a request to the reception the next day they brought them. Cleaning is done every day and everywhere, cleanliness is really a plus, the cleaners are mole and smiling. THE RESTAURANT all inclusive - Minus is the poor canteen type food, repetitive sauces potatoes, boiled rice and boiled pasta. There was no kebabs or grilled meat all week. Olives were only for breakfast. :) the waiter fussed over the food on your plate and took drinks off the table when we went to get our food. The staff are still learning how to treat guests. No one communicated with us all week to ask how satisfied we were. THE BAR- Poor quality wine from the box was served in a lemonade glass:( Really terrible music that the staff at the bar played from morning till night, like Albanian disco rap. (for guests aged 50+) Other guests complained. I hope the bartenders understand that music is for guests and they can play their music at home. The hotel's all-inclusive bar was closed at 10:30pm. We would have appreciated a menu of cocktails that could be purchased, there was no menu anywhere. The bar closes at 11pm, there is no animation programme so I would recommend a stay for pensioners and families with young children. RECEPTION- I also give a minus for refusal of late check out, I felt sick and had to be with my suitcase at the reception from 11h to 19h. I hope the hotel manager will understand that being friendly to guests will ensure their positive reviews to other people and their return. We would not return like this

Extremely pleased with our all-inclusive stay at the AMR hotel in Albania. Modern and clean rooms, local food with lots of vegetarian options. The staff, especially the reception, was extremely helpful. Although we would have liked more evening activities, overall the hotel is a great place for couples. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed here one night before flying back. It’s close to the airport and at the beach. It was a perfect choice. We got a free upgrade to seaview and the rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was really good. The best place we’ve stayed at n Albania, for a very reasonable prize!! (Photo is view from the room)

The breakfast food wasn’t good at all and very bland. Dinner was confusing where we got someone else’s food and didn’t get my dish but the waiter added to our bill. The waiter apparently didn’t have proper change. The room was clean, beachfront was beautiful but the shower handle was broken and sink slow draining. *The manager moved us into a better room where everything was working. He was Very professional, understanding and helpful.

Food poisoning for me and husband because of “Albanian pancakes” for breakfast. Hope never see you again. P.S. location is nice, that’s true.

Great rooms as well as the location. It has sandy private beach and it is beachfront and free parking. The hotel has also a pool also.

We originally booked a different hotel but our travel agency upgraded us to Amr hotel as the original one was still under reconstruction and we could have not been more happier about this switch. Hotel was always clean. There wasn’t a time in a day when the cleaning lady would not be cleaning the floors. Every meal had a huge amount of variables. As a gluten free person I was never hungry by the end of the day. Personnel was always smiling and happy to help. If we had a special request it has been granted almost immediately. And the way how they treated us even at the beach was just amazing. I highly recommend this hotel 🔅✨

An All-Inclusive where you can loose weigth. TLDR; Reheated, dry, repetitive food with no flavour, broken or missing toilet seats, leaks in toilets, staff blasting albanian house all day every day. Beach sand full of cigarette buds and other trash. Looks fancy at first, but feels like a cheap money grab. Design looks very nice, modern and good quality, but after a while you start noticing a lot of things that add up to a very dissapointing experience. The whole vibe of the place - "we don't care about the guests experience, we already got their money". The most fun that we had, was being suprised of how bad the food was and compplainig about the experience to eachother :D ***Food/Drinks (All-Inclusive)*** All-inclusive drinks offer a small selection of drinks, like boxed red and white wine, local beer and a few stronger drinks, like gin and vodka. All the drinks are served in small plastic cups. In the 7 nights we stayed there, we used more plastic than during a year back home. The food was bad. Just bad. No variety, mostly the same food for 8 days. Fruit: always the same - sliced watermelon, sliced melon. Whole pears, plums, sometimes apples. That's it. ***Salad***: always the same - tomato, cucumber, salad leaf mix, olives. Olives weren't that great. Tasted very bitter, cant compare to olives I've had in Greece, Italy, Spain, even back home in Latvia. ***Meats/cheeses***: always the same - ham, sausage, 3 or 4 types of cheese(mocarella, cheddar, feta,...) ***Warm meals***: mostly the same, with some variety. Potatoes were terrible. Undercoocked, but still looked crispy. Surprise, surprise, they were actually soggy. Some sauces, pasta, rice, fish. One day there were prawns in the buffet. I was amazed on how dry they were! When you eat it, your mouth actually gets dry! Same case with fish. It was terrible! For some food I actually could not figure out what I am eating. Like, something deep fried- I thought it would be chicken. I take a bite and the lack of flavour is just confusing. Could have been fish, could have been chicken... IDK. Sometimes chicken tasted like fish. I don't know, if it was spoiled, or kept next to fish.. either way, that was disgusting. Then there was a soup I tried. I could not figure out wast it was, but the best description that I can come up withh is: potato and rice. Most of the food was reheted from prevoius meals. The luch usually had leftovers from previous days dinner, leftover salad from breakfast, etc. The food was obviously reheated. Even tomatoes and cucumbers were saved from previous meals and then served again, obvioulsy, looking dried out by then. ***Rooms*** Seemed clean, but the toilet seat was crooked. A few days later, the toilet seats cover just came off. I asked the reception to fix it, they fixed it very quickly. Next time I used the toilet, the seat cover fell down again. In my friends room, one of the shower heads was not even attached to the water supply. ***Service*** Meh, not good. All the staff was young people, like around 20-25. One of them actually seemed around 13. A few times, the room service left "clean" towels that had some stains, like blood or something and something that seemed like hair dye spots. The towels were washed, but stains were there. ***Beach*** Sun beds an umbrellas were nice, the best ones we saw in the vicinity, but the beach is very dirty. Sand full of cigarette buds, plastic cups and other trash. I am a smoker myself and I appreceiate that I can smoke in the beach or anywhere outdoors, but comon! If the hotel guests are pigs, either put out signs not to litter or clean up after them!
