This is not a good hotel.. cozy and shaddy... but the bar is okay.. Staff is rude.. especially the cashier! Only good for people who is in budget!

One of the older bars in Malate and still good. Relaxed and cozy with a somewhat vintage feel. Beer prices are reasonable and staff always friendly, helpful and entertaining. A smoking area exists at the back; somewhat amusingly its a small office type 'broom cupboard' but serves its purpose. For a pub type bar this place is one of the best in the area, particularly for those who dislike modern soulless artificial 'pub' environments. This place is the real deal.

Great place to watch AFL, with like-minded people including local staff. I’d go so far as to say it is better than any Australian sports bar I’ve visited, as you can focus on the footy without it being drowned out by bloody horse racing!

A friendly Ausie pub & restaurant with good food & friendly staff. They have nice clean & comfortable room to rent, at a reasonable price as well. A good pool table to play on & live music 3-4 nights a week as well.

Affordable decent rooms

Cosy hotel popular with ex.pats, clean rooms and friendly staff. Good bar and selection of food plus entertainment on some nights. Can be a bit noisy at the rear of the hotel early evening but not a problem unless you are the kind of person who wants to make it one.

Great bar to start in, girls are friendly and don’t pester you unlike other bars in Manila.

Friendly helpful staff, some rooms size wise are better than others but they are all clean with everything you need or would expect in a hotel in its price range. Food readily available and at a surprisingly reasonable price. I have no hesitation in recommending as I would quite happily stay there again. It's not 5 star but it is very good for the rates they charge.

Had recent trip after three yrs of covid bit. Great to step into duck inn. Hadn't changed great food beer staff. Love the place.

Spent Superbowl Sunday 2020 at Duck Inn recently. Started at 7:30 am so I came for breakfast. Great meal - great Ozzie sausages with HP Sauce available. Brewed coffee strong and delicious. All I had to do was look around and someone came to my aid immediately (first time in my life I cracked a beer before noon...but hey, it’s Superbowl!) Met fellow Canadians and an American. We became immediate friends (we all had fathers who served in WWII). Duck In great!

This place is stunning from the moment that you get out if the car. They make you feel very safe and extremely welcome. They were able to provide for any request that I had. It was always spotless and the food is amazing at all times. I HIGHLY recommend eating in this place as it's also in a great location. I can't thank the staff enough for the amazing time that I had while I was there. I hope that I can visit again. The only thing I would give a heads up on, if you order a steak and like it cooked medium, order it medium well and it will come out perfect. If you order it medium, it comes out medium rare. I noticed that everywhere I went.

Rooms are clean. Rate is good. Close to the older bars. Popular with expats.

Stayed here a couple nights as it is right in Ermita and around the main places anyone needs to go. Bar was awesome and the food was good. Cold reasonably priced beers too. The live music and pool table was an added plus. The cable TV had all the main news channels you would need along with a great selection of sports channels. Internet was decent getting about 25Mbps in my room from the nearby router. Only issue I had why I am knocking it a star was upon checkout I was blamed for stealing chocolates out of the mini bar which was never there in the first place. I always video my room upon entering budget hotels and it was eventually cleared up as never being there but thought that was piss poor customer service without an apology. Check your mini bar if you are staying here!

Staff are the most lovely caring people. The food, rooms, live music, pool tables all great, beer so cold and refreshing fantastic place to visit or stay.

The aircon is too cold, I've got sore eyes. The price for Pilsen 110 Peso is okay. Several TV for all chanel worldwide.

You can always tell when a bar is Australian managed by the temperature of the beer. Cold beer, good food at reasonable prices and excellent service. Rooms above the bar always seem busy. I'll be back...
