Went here for my brother’s project. Basically, they have to go to a historical site, take pictures, and write an essay. This a great place to do your Philippine history assignments. You just a have to fill out a form to write the purpose of your visit including the name of your school and your teacher. Also, a great place to learn about Philippine history! They have a spacious parking lot, and we didn’t have to pay for entrance.

Emilio Aguinaldo's house that has been donated to the government and has been managed by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines as a museum. A very prominent landmark in Kawit, Cavite and in the province in general.

Great place of heritage. Open until 4 pm for free. With restrooms. No running due to wooden floors. Attendants are courteous proud and polite. Would recommend for the whole family to see esp kids.

Few people are seen when we went there. Have parking fee. It is very silent there but there's not much to do but to sit, take pictures. There is a small canteen inside. I don't the museum is open for now. A good place for a short visit for history.

Was able to visit this place when I was a kid and through highschool field trips, and my recent achievement was to bike to this place using both of my late Dad's bikes during the pandemic. Really a newbie biker's place to visit as it is near Manila. Place never gets old, and would probably my go-to place in case I need to breathe fresher air than the Manila smog.

The Aguinaldo shrine is the birth place of our nation and where the Philippines independence is held. You usually gets the filipino pride when you visit this place. I would visit this again when the pandemic ends. The shrine is now open to the public.

As a cyclist, I had an okay experience in the area. It is clean and has a lot of locals that are playing around, and you can also buy foods from the vendors in the vicinity. It is a good place to roam around with a friend or someone you love. But overall, that is about all the things you can do.

This shrine is the ancestral home of Emilio Aguinaldo. The house was built in 1845 made from wood and thatch and reconstructed in 1849. Aguinaldo was born there on March 22, 1869. The place holds special significance in the history of the Philippines, since it was the exact place where the independence from Spain was proclaimed on June 12, 1898. The house is now a museum. It holds Aguinaldo's memorabilia and other historical artifacts The entrance is free. However, surprisingly, to enter the premises you still need to wear a face mask. Self touring.

Venturing into the heart of Kawit, the Aguinaldo Shrine and Museum stand not only as guardians of history but as festive beacons of holiday joy. 🎁✨ Decked in a brilliant array of Christmas decorations and twinkling lights, the shrine transforms into a merry spectacle, embracing the spirit of the season with open arms. The once solemn halls now echo with the laughter of holiday merriment. As you traverse through the museum, each artifact becomes a piece in this historical puzzle, with the added charm of being adorned in festive hues. The juxtaposition of the past and the present creates a unique atmosphere where the echoes of history harmonize with the jingles of Christmas. The vibrant and colorful decorations not only bring the holiday spirit alive but also serve as a testament to the cultural celebration that is deeply embedded in the Filipino soul. It's not just a museum visit; it's a journey through time infused with the joy of Christmas. In the heart of Kawit, the Aguinaldo Shrine and Museum beckon as not just custodians of history but as festive storytellers, weaving tales of the past amidst the kaleidoscope of holiday lights. 🌟🏰 #AguinaldoShrine #HistoricalHoliday #FestiveJourney

So full of history. Home of the first Philippine President. As far as I can remember when we entered, there was no fee. You only get charged if you get the service of a tour guide. It's like travelling through time when going to this tourist spot. One can see how rich our culture is and how much influence the spaniards have left on us.

I really like the place... my first visited was in 1982.. And last Sunday was closed, I ask the gard ???? Why it is closed: his reply Sir : will be open after one year.... I visited the rest houses of Aguinaldo family's, but no one was around.. So I got the cp number of one of Aguinaldo daughter, I phoned her, but who replay her son.. And the leaves in Manila. Either they are making maintenance to the place or locked..or no budget for it as of now. I'm going to visit them again this week. And going to know why it is closed..

A nice place to visit for those who loves Philippine history specifically in relation about our independence. The house was well-preserved most especially its interior and the facade of Agunaldo Shrine. You can also see some preserved things of Emilio Aguinaldo. The museum staff were all polite and considerate to the tourists.

The Aguinaldo Shrine and Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in Philippine history. The shrine is the ancestral home of Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the Philippines, and it was here that the Declaration of Independence was signed on June 12, 1898. The shrine is beautifully preserved and well-maintained, and it offers a fascinating glimpse into the life of Aguinaldo and the early years of the Philippine Republic. The museum houses a collection of artifacts from the period, including furniture, weapons, and documents. There are also dioramas depicting important events in Philippine history, such as the Battle of Aguinaldo's house. No entrance fee Donations are accepted Need a valid ID and vaccination card upon entering the museum Crowded on weekend (student field trips)

Should be 5 stars if they would do something about the heat inside the museum (during hot days). Free entrance, no charge for the tour guide (you can give tip), well-preserved house, furnishings and everything else. Very olld man-guide added authenticity to the stories/info.

It's a very interesting place, i went here for my fieldtrip and we had to wait for 10+ minutes in the heat, also I saw a kitten that was ¿trapped? under one of the stone things. I like the history behind this place and how clean it is. Tour guide told it to us very clearly and I liked it. One of my classmates moved the telephone.. I just want them to do something about the heat, we were sweating alot. Also what they said about the horse statue is very interesting!

Hnd mainit sa loob. Best for date or if u want to know more in history. Be careful inside because the stuffs are old and fragile🤗 the details of the house are are awesome👌

The most disappointing part of this place was when people around this area or who visited this place didn't know how to handle their trash. Then keeps on complaining a lot that the place is disgusting. Throwing garbage is the best hobby for lazy people Why people? Why? A big disgrace to our Historical place. But overall I learned a lot about our history and it overwhelms me to see the stuff people used a long time ago.

A nice historical place to visit when biking along cavite area specifically in Kawit. This remind us filipinos about declaration independence from the hands of Spain by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo happened last June 12 of 1898. The Aguinaldo Shrine is maintained by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. Most bikers/riders and tourist are dropping by to take a selfie to this historical place.

We went to this place on Feb 12, 2023 in the afternoon to visit and see some of the artifacts and know the real history about how Emilio Aguinaldo live his life, his graveyard and how he become the president of the Philippines. The shrine is open to the public everyday at 8am-4pm. You must bring your vaccine card before you enter the premises. When we enter his ancestral home, is kinda creepy because the house is old and the furnitures are made of wood (i think mahogany wood) and the house is well maintained and preserve. You can only access upto the 2nd floor because on the 3rd flr upto the tower you can't go up cause of the old flooring. Visit this place so you can fully understand the history of Emilio Aguinaldo and the battles held at some places in Cavite ..
