Situated just across the town plaza of Imus as was customary during the time of the Spaniards. Wide parking space. Peaceful and quiet. Another old church in the historical city of Cavite. Such intricate wood carvings at the door.

One of the biggest churches in Cavite province. I have visited Imus Cathedral aka Our Lady of the Pillar Cathedral Parish during our 2018 Visita Iglesia in the province. What I love the most about this church is its interior design and its facade as well. According to my research, its facade is copied from an old design of the Manila Cathedral.

The Cathedral is great place to pray.. Devotees of Our Lady of Pillar are inside and piously praying the novena prayers...The flower offering are done through dancing ... holding flowers ...to be offered to Mama Mary Our Lady of Pillar outside the Church near the entrance... Devotees entered the Cathedral in procession. A very touching experience. Parking area is available. Rest room are clean.

Today is my first visit in this place. It is the church where His Excellency Chito Cardinal Tagle was baptized, and ordained. It has a good parking space, although on certain days, it could easily become full. The adoration chapel is also great. One could surely be at peace here. The people around are helpful and kind.

The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Our Lady of the Pillar - Imus Cathedral, commonly known as the Imus Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral church in the city of Imus, in the province of Cavite, Philippines. The city, which is the capital of the province, also serves as the seat of the bishop of the Diocese of Imus, the diocese that has jurisdiction over the entire Civil Province of Cavite. One of the historical places here in Imus. The structures are well-maintained and preserved.

Church is clean and great. Guards are friendly. Lots of parking space. Just beware of picture scammers. They will pretend to be part of the photo team, instead will charge you for the printed photos that is of low quality. Ruins the mood of the guest of the wedding.

We went here on a Saturday afternoon. Though there's a mass and people were coming in, we were still able to get a slot at the parking area. The church, like most Catholic churches, is located at the center of the town proper. There are 3 old bells displayed outside just beside the parking area. The interior is very nice and aesthetic despite the building's age.

It is amazing how the brick wall inside was built. It is one of the oldest churches in Imus, Cavite. Fronting it is a plaza which is a very common design during the Spanish era wherein churches are located beside the plazas. Old trees are still there. The ancient design of the church inside is impressive. Although it is a little dark due to lack of sufficient lighting. But you will still feel the solemnity of the place. It is such a huge church outside. The parking space is also wide. Going there will not be a problem because there are public utility vehicles going there.

As a Diocesan shrine (Our Lady of Pillar), and the cathedral for the Diocese of Imus, it retained the old/classic but majestic ambiance of a cathedral. The "Sancta Porta" is open to welcome pilgrims and those who seek to gain the plenary indulgences afforded for the 5th centennial of Christianity in the Philippines. A place to offer Mass and prayers for bossing Levy on his 2nd death anniversary. #bikepilgrimage #bikesitaiglesia

Located fronting a sprawling plaza filled with Philippine flags and the municipal hall and old houses dating back to the Spanish and American occupation era. The Church is the main office of the Diocese and where Cardinal Tagle now in Rome used to head and give clear brief and precise homilies like his tv program The Word Explained.

It was a Saturday when I dropped by and it's open in the morning. Public restrooms are available and well-kept provided that you leave something on the donation box. Bystanders and church locals are all nice. It's a solemn place that is apt for reflection.
