first cemetary that I know of that does not look like it belongs on the set of a horrormovie. Growing up in Marikina, one grew up with Loyola and Utex. These are the 2 places you give as reference when asked where Marikina is. My grandparents, dad and ninong and ninang are all buried here and God knows maybe someday I will also. But now everyone knows about Marikina and Loyola is the place where I visit my dad, lolo and lola and godparents. And where my son will visit his grandpa and dad eventually.

    Very inadequate maintenance.

I would have given it 4 stars just because I liked that the restroom inside the viewing chapel was nice and clean. My dissatisfaction was with the final look of the deceased. Would have appreciated more care/effort given to the make up and hairstyle and her gaunt face given remedy.

Tranquil. Great for a family get-together with loved ones who are now in our Father's Eternal home.

Quiet and not crowded (Holy Week 2018). Can commune with our dear departed loved ones. Some trash around though.

Mom and dad shared their loved for 83 years in great passion 🙏💞two of the best parents I've ever lived with. I'll missed them everyday 😔.

Resting place of my father for the last 34 years and now my older brother, too. I used to frequent the place to find some peace of mind. The place always calms my heart.

Whenever I visit this place, I'm able to breathe and renew myself, feeling recharged and alive, even in the midst of the dead. Here lies some of the prominent Filipinos- Araneta and Puyat Families, Fernando Amorsolo, Nida Blanca, Francis Magalona, to name a few. My grandparents are also laid to rest in this peaceful place. However, the challenge of visiting here takes place during Rainy Season, where all grasses are muddy, and November, where road closures force you to walk miles past the entrance gate. Always bring your umbrella or cap upon visiting here! It's better to shade yourself from scorching heat or pouring rain.

The memorial chapels are well kept. It can be pretty crowded though when all the chapels have wakes. The comfort room outside the chapels needs to be 'enlarged'.
