A little gem I discovered. Overall good place to stay, the only thing is one of the guests in my room is talking over the phone with his wife over some domestic problem. With one guest sleeping above me. If I were the one sleeping I would be really disturbed and upset. Good thing I was busy checking in my flight for the next day and writing this review. But that is the risk with shared room hostels, privacy suffers for the cheap price. Even with this hostel having strict rules with guests according to their 20 page manual. But, who reads manuals, anyways. Otherwise, I recommend this place. There's a little corner for free coffee all day and for light breakfast to start your day. Nothing beats it in price, accommodation and location and with a nice staff. See you again next time, Crossroads!

Location not the best, there were random adults and children coming up to me begging for money or food and I was afraid they'd grab my handbag. The nearby shopping malls are nice, the food court has a good selection of food. The hostel is good value and the reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Reception closes at 7pm, and we arrived later than that so it was a self check in system. The air con in the dorm room was good but the room itself lacks space for big luggage. Simple breakfast provided which was good considering the price. Hot water available all day, and there is a toaster and microwave. The shared toilets was ok but one of the shared shower cubicles was not cleaned properly for two days (I avoided this cubicle because it was disgusting) so the cleaning service can be improved and the staff should check regularly for the bathroom cleanliness Edit: the hostel owner replied to this review stating that a photo of the disgusting shower cubicle would be helpful. I did not take a photo, it was really something I would not want to see again or have on my phone. The cubicle was clean except someone had left their used bloodied sanitary pad on top of the shower unit and it was there for two days.

The online booking is very convenient. Despite being a little bit small in size, the room is still good for a traveler's soul for its cleanliness and comfort of cozy good-smelled bed and air-con. The wifi is relatively fast comparing to that of the Philippines' normal internet speed. Shopping malls and transportation are available almost everywhere around the hostel that you may just walk for minutes. Most importantly, the helpfulness and friendliness of the hostel management will never disappoint you. The only thing I find not quite satisfying about the hostel is it's located in a flooded area if there is a big big rain coming down, but it's a good thing that the hostel itself never gets flooded. Well, the big rain is not coming down everyday anyway.

Great little hostel! All from the living, bathroom and rooms are really clean. Free breakfast, water and coffee. Great wifi. Quiet and respectful environment. The are around the hostel is good also: -Just next to the train station. -Markets and malls. -7/11 and tones of street food

LOVED THE PLACE! Perfect for short term stay. Accommodating and safe as well. Had problem and technicality issues during online reservation, but still worth it. It is very budget friendly and is willing to assist and accommodate requests. Located near big malls and a small "silogan" beside the hostel, which serves delicious and affordable food. Caters to foreign visitors as well. A very satisfied customer here. Highly recommended. 👌🏼

Everything was very smooth in this hostel, the lady running it is very organised and helpful. The location was perfect for my purposes, hostel was clean, WiFi worked and the breakfast was exactly what you can read in other reviews: hard-boiled eggs, bread, coffee and tea. It's what you need, right? Would stay again, if I needed to.

I really won't forget this place. This was the place where I spent my day while waiting for my tour schedule. I was not able to book a place in advance, luckily for me I searched and asked the right place. The entire place is very well kept. The rooms are very clean and the sleeping areas are covered with curtains so you will have your privacy, even if you shared a room with others, you have your own lamp and outlet to charge your electronic devices. The comfort rooms and shower rooms are also very clean, despite being shared with. Free use of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. And a big plus for me, reasonable but affordable rate. I will go back here whenever I can visit near the area.

Great hostel, clean, with a cozy common area and friendly & helpful staff. Good for socializing with like-minded guests. They offer a simple breakfast with jams & peanut butter with free tea or/and coffee.You can also use microwave.

This place is great for a cheap stop over. It's very easy to get to when flying in late with easy instructions for room access. Very cheap and a clean hostel in general. Bathroom had toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner/body wash. It's a long walk in to town. The rooms are small and kinda dank.

Early check in allowed for as long as there's empty bed. I had mine from 7am. Water dispenser available. Clean room. Common area with a huge piano and jazz music in the background.

A perfect choice and option in middle of Manila easy to commute around (outside the rush hours of course) clean living room, bathrooms and friendly unique reception ladies. I love it. They serve breakfast (but never took it) but they have great service for the price and location. Recommended 5 out of 5 p.s. if u tell ur guest to wash their feet before enter the rooms would be a good extra for other guests. (i know is sad but some people need to be told that)

First time staying at a hostel ♥️ Room is clean, staff are accommodating, and i love the free light breakfast, drinking water and unlimited coffee, they have free snacks too. Over all, I'm satisfied staying in this hostel.

Location is not the best, but the area is quiet during the night as the hostel is far from main roads. Rooms and service are great considering that you are in a hostel. You are getting a lot from what you pay. Atmosphere is nice and pleasant, stuff is helpful. Free tea and cofee and simple breakfast. Definetely is a great option if you are in a budget and do not mind to share the room with more people.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Made a few friends and the staff was very lovely too. Would definitely recommend this to solo travellers ✌🏾

The best hostel in the metro. If you are musician or loves to play instruments. This place is the best. Tho the rooms are good. The curtains should be longer so you can be at peace inside.

This hostel is really convenient for a stay in Manilla, super nice hosts. The room are simple and clean. Just what you need if you're traveling and visiting during the day. The wifi connection is working well and it is near Shaw boulevard station which is easy to use to go to some other spots. I will recommend this place to others.

Needs a stovetop, but the hosts are friendly and the showers are decent. Bring your own toilet paper.

Rooms are clean. Reception are friendly. Main door kept locked therefore may not face any stranger. Gust must fixed check in/out time schedule to avoid confusion.

A great place to stay. The staffs are very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Mandaluyong.

When I arrived to Manila I was feeling sick and the stuff was so kind and making even ginger tea for me. Felt well hosted and could recover myself perfectly with the cozy atmosphere in the hostel! Place is super clean, lovely and caring stuff and location is also next to a mall. Thank you again! 😊

This is my second stay in Crossroads Hostel. Their staff is very accommodating, and they immediately recognized that I am a returnee guest. Check-in was smooth. The sleeping quarters and shower rooms are clean and well-prepared. Also spoke with their manager, and he made sure I had a great time. Definitely, I have Crossroads Hostel in mind for my future travels to Metro Manila.

The place is clean and aesthetically appealing. There's free water and coffee. Each bed has a privacy curtain and own lamp. The bed and pillow are nice and soft. There's plenty of place to make tambay during free time. Overall, my stay was pleasant.

The place is really good and very clean on the common area. The receptionist is also courteous and accommodated me efficiently. My only comment is that the behavior of the roommates I'm with. I was assigned in a room wherein a roommate doesn't care of his surrounding. He watch tv shows/movies on his mobile phone like he's on his own house. Too loud and doesn't care about anybody.

Best hostel ı ever seen. Krisstopher always helps you around city informations tips everything and hostel is so clean and luxury. Even the shampoos and lotions everything very good brands. They give breakfast too including price and also coffee water hot water wifi free all the time. İts in a great location close to all shopping malls around. I came from manila airport to here with 3 differrent transportation using minibus e bike and train. İt just costed me 71 peso all. For any purpose who comes here can be sure that you will feel safe comfortable and taking cared of anything. Cheers to Krisstopher and all other employees so lovely place

Ill just give it a passing grade. The place is clean and cozy but i dont like the attitude of the old housekeeper with the hankerchief in her head. Really impolite and unwelcoming. If you need something just approach the front desk instead. Also payment for ROOM locker has separate pay and its non disclosure.

The place is a great to just chill and it is inexpensive especially if most of your stay is going outside and exploring Manila. The customer service is great, very accommodating staff. Location is spot on. It is near restaurants, coffee shops, malls, and many more. Very accessible.
