👍👍 I read the previous negative comments and maybe those people were looking for something posh and shiny. I can only suggest that they visit malls instead. The place has a really nice ambiance, and gives you a feeling of going home to your grandparents. There is a fishpond, birds singing and a cute do... I read the previous negative comments and maybe those people were looking for something posh and shiny. I can only suggest that they visit malls instead. The place has a really nice ambiance, and gives you a feeling of going home to your grandparents. There is a fishpond, birds singing and a cute dog which did not come out because he enjoyed the aircon inside. It is a gem inside the city. The food was yummy and servings were decent. The owners were a nice and welcoming cute couple:) Thank you for sharing your place! P.S: Please do not forget to adopt us should you need more children!

New location, street parking. Sisig, puttanesca pasta, burger we're all good. Service is quick since we were the only guests for lunch.

A quiet place in QC to have lunch and dinner, or to simply have a cake and a cup of coffee. This is a vegetarian resto but meat lovers (like me) will surely enjoy their yummy yet healthy version of kebab, barbecue and sisig. Love the overall look and design of the place. I felt like I went to a nearby province like Laguna or Batangas when I entered their gate. Their staff was also attentive to our requests. Thank you ❤

I ate here years ago and wasn't really impressed by the food and the service. Decided to give another chance since it's the pandemic and I really want to support businesses as they need us more than ever. One thing that really improved is the service. The ambiance was always homey and cozy so no complaints. The owners are kind people ❤️ The food was served faster this time. But the food...was disappointing. Sadly, ordering food here was like playing delicious food Russian roulette-style. You never know if you'll get the good dish. I ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce, eggplant parmigiana, kare-kare, mozzarella sticks, fried mushroom, native hot chocolate, and brewed coffee. The eggplant parmigiana was so watery and wasn't cooked well. It was soupy. Super bland. Herbs were undercooked. I took one spoonful and had them remove it from the table because it wasn't edible. Told the staff and they didn't even say anything. The mozzarella sticks were bland and tasted funny. Couldn't even finish that too. The chicken was okay. I liked the usage of yuba but the taste could be improved. But it is edible. Best part and the only thing I'll order here is the Kare-Kare. Really good. The bagoong they made matches the dish. This is why I gave an extra star to this whole review. Overall, not worth the money I paid. 😢 Leaving this review so that they can improve on their dishes and that hopefully I can eat their food again someday.

The perfect vegetarian and organic cafe around the neighborhood! Greens is a great place for catch-up, post-workout, and intimate hangout. Located at Scout Castor, it sits in the middle of a quiet and peaceful community which is far from the noisy and crowded bar places in Timog. Greens also offers a humble and affordable menu. One of the must try is the eggplant parmigiana and their veggie barbecue. Their eggplant parmigiana is freshly baked and has a natural taste into it. Upon cutting the middle part, it does not make any oozy mess, but be careful that it is indeed hot. The eggplant parmigiana also does not have that slithering feeling of eggplant and seemed to cut through the baked dish. If you are looking for something healthy, then Greens is your way to go!

Located in the hustle and bustle area of Tomas Morato, Greens is hidden haven for those who enjoy and/or practice the plant based diet lifestyle. They are also open to people that want to try of the lifestyle by providing suggestions in what to eat, and where to buy them. Their food selections is comprised of a well written menu, mains for the day, and a dessert bar. Their bbq abd sisig are worth a try. You'll feel one with nature while dining there as the place consists of variety of plants and trees. A must try place if you are in the area

Definitely one of the better vegan restos out there. Price is also reasonable for a vegan restaurant. The only downside is the parking space availability but apparently there’s a parking structure nearby. The BBQ and chocolate cake are so good.

Greens has such a homey and comforting ambience, like a pleasant nature respite in the middle of an otherwise gray and dingy city. The servers may seem a bit cranky but it's also part of their charm (they're actually nice). And, I particularly love their barbecue.

Very tasty and good price. 100% vegan. We had "fish" escabeche, kebab skewers, tofu mushroom burger, mango shake, tsokolate, and kombucha - all delicious. Lots of trees and other plants surrounding the restaurants. Very friendly staff.

I had Adobo and it was delicious. I appreciate how they incorporate the fried tofu and mushrooms, it tasted so well. My wife had Kare Kare and Sisig. The Kare Kare was made of pure peanut sauce, delicious also. This is one of the best Vegetarian Restaurant i have been since got here in the Philippines. Also, try sitting outside facing their pond... You'd be in for a surprise 😊

I don’t know where these 5 star reviews are coming from but the food here is not that great at all. No greens ... no greens... I will never ever go back to this place again... My girlfriend was so disappointed since she was looking for a decent vegetarian restaurant. The place was ok but the food generally taste sour and looked so boring even their staff looked so terribly bored about what they were serving.

The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy. A good place to get together with friends. Although the food is not that special. The pesto pasta and native hot chocolate we ordered tastes bland, whereas the beef & broccoli was too salty. Service wasn’t that good and the serving time was slow too. We followed up for our plates, water, and orders for several times. The value for money wasn’t worth it.

Visited Greens years back and just found the place ok or mediocre. But tried it out again this year 2024 after having found out that they’ve gone fully vegan and I can confidently say how much they’ve improved since! Love how they still keep their prices on the affordable side (and I think it’s priced fairly for what you get) Barbecue was a standout! Can’t wait to re-try their other offerings again 😊

This restaurant is located in an old renovated house so it can be easy to miss especially with its small sign. The food isn't bad considering it's all vegetarian with no meat at all. I especially liked the pork barbeque and sisig. Parking can be a problem as scout castor is a very narrow street

I'd never thought that a vegan restaurant like this would exist in Manila. It's just amazing to see that there are hidden gems like this one that promotes vegetarian diet even in a meat-centered culture like that of Filipinos'. The place is a bit hidden. It's not along national highways like most known restaurants, so you have to really walk from the main road towards another alley to find the said restaurant. It was a bit dark inside, I guess. But their dishes are so awesome! I love their mushroom tofu burger, soy cheese sticks and their delicious mango banana shake.

I am rating this by my visit because they hosted a kirtan or music meditation event. I will supporr venues that are safe spaces for spiritual expression. It's another oasis in the crazy morato area. I will come back and enjoy the vegetarianized/veganized filipino food like kare kare and sisig. Its a good sign that i look forward to be in this place again.

Ordered our "staples" for take home-- barBQ (gluten-- this used to be super winner but now the quality has changed, notthat ezcellent and tasty this time); vegan sisig which my daughter totally loved (she said:"nanay you should have just ordered ALL sisig it is so sarap" ) ...dark coscao from davao(three kinds.winner lahat. eto.support the local economy); kebab.

My sister was looking for a healthy place to dine while she was in Manila and Greens' 4+ star rating reeled her in. Sadly, she had me come along. Apart from the painfuly slow and pitiful service a lot of what was on the menu that tickled my fancy was not available. So I settled on the the Mushroom & Tofu kebab with garlic rice, a decision I was too soon to regret. My dish arrived after some measure of eternity, and while I was expecting to experience the savory goodness of a kebab or prepared self for a vegan's healthy tasting creation, I was instead met with the excessively strong sweetness of what I could describe as a variation of teriyaki sauce. I tried to conquer this meal with the help of the included garlic rice and the few slices of red bell pepers to no avail. I just couldn't stomach the sweetness, and in the end I failed and left the meal unfinished. Maybe if the servers were more attentive and quick to respond my stay could have been a more bearable one and I may have considered coming back to gamble on the rest of their menu. Even billing out took forever. Sadly this is my first and last visit to Greens. Service - 1/5 - poor. Food - 1/5 - doesn't agree with me. Ambience - 3.8/5 - nice homey feel. Some parts needs repair.

homey ambiance, mouth watering menu. try the appetizers. my son loves the kebabs. he would order 4 of those. i enjoy their daily specials especially the green leafy variety. the fried mushroom is to die for. we are amused how they make tofu taste and look like your favorite meat dish. ask the kind waitress not to add sugar to your drink to complete the guilt free meal

Honestly, we were expecting... more. We walked in. No greeting, no sign that the staff understand hospitality at all. We seated ourselves and were given a menu. It was short and sweet - this in itself made us hopeful as a smaller menu means it's easier to manage, supposedly. We noticed a bain-marie with different dishes - veggie meat and spinach, veggie meat caldareta, and lumpia. I asked one of the more veteran waitresses/kitchen staff who was hovering around the dish what was in the lumpia (as there are so many different types of vegetable lumpia out there). Her response? "Gulay." Really? In vegetarian restaurant? Your lumpia has "gulay"? When I pressed further about what vegetables were in it, my question went unanswered. My wife ordered the lumpia and caldareta with rice, we shared a Sampler of potato patties, fried mushrooms, and papadam. The papadam were excellent - really flavorful and full of spice, the fried mushrooms had this really thick breading around it like they were pretending to be a deep-fried corn dog, and the potato ball (it was a ball, not a pattie) was still frozen in the middle. Other than that, it was just like eating deep fried potato. My entree was eggplant parmigiana. A good eggplant parmigiana has mozzarella and a good marinara, which was unfortunately missing from this dish. The cheese tasted like Eden and the marinara was tomato cut up and baked on top of the eggplant. Also missing from our meals was salt, pepper, and flavor. It doesn't matter how fresh or flavorful your produce is, when you cook without seasoning, you cook without enhancing flavor. How do I know this? 20 years industry experience is how I know. Please, fix the way you talk to diners, fix your food, and justify the price you charge.
