Rooms are older but very clean and spacious. Housekeeping were very respectful and quick. Pool was the best part with jacuzzi. Outside smoking area there by the pool. No swim up bar but was right there when you get out of the pool. King the bartender was outstanding. Will have to do it again!

The room is somewhat noisy, with the distinct sounds of traffic audible. While the room is cleaner, it retains a slightly old-fashioned charm. The breakfast options are pleasing, featuring a variety of cuisines such as Japanese, Filipino, and, of course, American breakfast.

Old Manila feels and i like the vibe. Beds are comfy though but worn out portions were visible. We stayed on a weekday so we had the pool and the jacuzzi all to ourselves which was nice. My friends had a nice time so it was overall awesome. Better breakfast spread at Corniche this time. As always, service is topnotch from check in to check out so that makes it all worth visiting again.

I was convinced to enroll in their membership program. So glad, I accepted the offer. Program is generous even during holidays. Rooms are roomy though a bit dated but everything was working well. Food outlets Corniche and Yurakuen were sufficient

Great hotel. It might be old but it beats the hell out of your budget! For me I got the value of my money. Breakfast buffet menu was cooked well i did not taste too much "artificial seasoning". I'll be coming back. The bathtub gives me my "me time" when all are asleep. Kudos!

Rooms were nice. Bed was comfy. Only issue is the rooms get very warm and the air conditioning was pretty inadequate. Hotel needs to do a better job at either adding a dehumidifier in the rooms or at least put a thin sheet on the bed along with the duvet.

The location is very accessible to the city and tourist spots. Staff are also accommodating and extent great effort to make sure that we are living in our home. Food are also great. Rooms are regularly cleaned and changed the pillow case, towels and blankets.

I remember The Diamond Hotel vividly. I used to come here as a kid thanks to it's gracious owner before I moved countries. Was always forced by my parents to dress appropriately. The ambience always tranquil, warm, and inviting. The food, catered to every single type of eater you can think of; from Kid's finger food, to choice cut steak, to fresh and grilled seafood, to comatose inducing desserts like their Tiramisu in a glass. If "a man of action" was a place, it would be the Diamond Hotel, as you'd want to talk very little compared to the extreme amount of comfort and satiation you will experience in this little slice of heaven. The Diamond Hotel will never be known for a single dull moment.

A beautiful hotel overlooking the beautiful Manila Bay. And the location is accessible to malls like Mall of Asia, restaurants and amusement parks. The hotel staffs from the bellboy, receptionist and so on were accomodating. They will treat you like a VIP. Although the hotel was already old, the service was excellent and the rooms were clean as well.

Context is everything, or at least a heck of a lot. This is a great choice if looking for a terrific cross section of value and service/amenities/accomodations. I stayed for 4 days and had the opportunity to enjoy Bar 27 on the top floor, the Lobby Restaurant, standard restaurant the pool and health spa. Smoking allowed in the bar lounge and outdoor pool area for me was nostalgic, a little time machine taking me back. The staff are just darling, adorable and so kind.

The place is okay, but its old. The tv is old, the curtains need to be changed/washed. The shower knobs need fixing...etc. The foods' great though...albeit pricey

We stayed for 5 nights and paid for breakfast buffet, food is not great and same menu daily. We thought since its Diamond Hotel it will be excellent at all levels, but its not. Some are reheated or probably used from their other restaurant because the meat is hard. Not a 5 star experience. Rooms and security is great. Food is not. Don’t pay for breakfast buffet, its way overpriced. I have been to Shangri-la and other hotels nearby, Diamond Hotel needs to measure up if they want to keep up as 5 stars. I guess its just the name.

it was okay tbh. the room was standard but the beds were cozy i had a good night’s sleep. 😂 the interior and exterior of the hotel was amazing also. i was wowed the first time i saw it. guards were very patient and friendly. the breakfast buffet staff looked busy and asking for stuff was kind of hard. if u‘ll bring a car brace yourself especially if there’s a lot of guests checking in, we had to wait for at least 2 hours to get inside the garage and park. it also took us a while to be seated at the breakfast buffet and to be checked in. 👍🏻 note: u have to be early in the breakfast buffet to get the most out of it. not much variation but most of the food was yummy

The location was convenient, near Robinson’s which has all the food choices you’d need. The breakfast (included) was really sub-par for a 5-star hotel, which is the main reason I won’t be staying here again. The pool includes a hot tub, which I like, but it closes at 6pm. The best time to hot tub is after dinner when the air turns cooler. The gym had a barbell for benching but was in a cramped environment so the vibe was more storage locker than place to enjoy a workout. The bed was comfortable, the views of the bay nice, and one room service meal was pretty good. For me the breakfast was the disqualifier.

Service staff were amazing! So friendly, welcome refreshments available upon check in. Spacious toilets and rooms, albeit a little musty. Small but well equipped gym. Convenience stores: Mini Stop and 7-11 are a stone’s throw away.

We celebrate Father's day here at their Lobby Lounge with their Set Menu, since buffet lunch was already fully booked. The menu was just salad, simple soup,choice between fish and beef tenderloin and dessert. The presentation of the food were fancy but the taste was just so-so. The price if P1,580 per person.

Staying here was a pleasure. As expected of this hotel, it lives up to its name. Every corner was spotless, from the lobby to our room. Alcohol sprays were everywhere to ensure cleanliness. The staff were so nice and accommodating.

Not so much for a 5-star hotel. It's a rip off. There's only 2 bottles of free water if you request for more you would have to pay. No bathrobes, no hair conditioner. They will slip a note if you don't request to make up the room. For me, it shouldn't be like that they should wait for the guests to request for housekeeping. I was told that slippers or sandals aren't allowed when dining at their restaurant. And security deposit is a rip off as well, 4K pesos a night. Foods are cold. Their electrical sockets are old you can't charge your gadgets if you don't have an adapter. No USB charging sockets too.

I felt this hotel was a good value. Room service food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is very large with multinational options. Rooms are a good size and the hotel is near the only beach I am aware of in Manila though you don't really go in the water at this beach. I did have a couple of complaints... the pool required reservations I think due to covid and they don't tell you it closes regularly for cleaning. Also the hotel is starting to show its age. Rooms are becoming dated and a little worn. All of that I can understand but the one thing that did bother me was this hotel like many I have been to in the Philippines has developed a musty smell that westerners are not accustomed to experiencing. All in all I'd stay there again if I was in the area because the value seems good but I'd likely try another place too just to see if there is anything better in the area.

Well, first of all, the hotel is old and some room has this old smell and watermark on tables. The room is not as cold as I could, hoping for even though I already lowered the thermostat. I love the slippers and ask the desk for a window by the bay. The sunset is amazingly beautiful. I got tears in my eyes when I moved the curtain to see the sunset. Not because of the sunset but because of dust that went into my eyes from the curtain, but I still enjoy the sunset with one eye 😁. The parking is horrible, not enough space, especially on buffet hours. I do love the staff at the front desk, amusingly funny and helpful. I will go back there again to check in for it's my favorite hotel by the bay.

This pandemic, they serve controlled portions and that's a good thing to lessen risk of contact and cross contamination. SOP is well executed and health standards especially wearing facemasks is well enforced.

Food is good it's overwhelming with crabs love it. But with limited choices and the price is too steep around for very few selection of cuisine.

If you are any race but Filipino, it's a great hotel. But if you are Filipino, well look out, because racism is alive and well at the Diamond Hotel.

Wow! This was my first dining experience at a five star since the lockdown. They had strict protocols so bring your vaccination card and valid ID. After the quick interview and security check, it was off to the resto. As would have been expected, there were only two other parties aside from my own. All seats were were spaced one seat apart but aside from that difference the food and service were as expected, impeccable. First time in a year to taste sashimi which were just the appetizer, bringing baçk memories of our wedding day spent in the same hotel. Will definitely plan on visiting this place with the the missus and kids.

I stayed overnight during business trip in July 2021. Facilities are very very nice but I felt labor issues as service is poor, lobby toilets are dirty, breakfast to be served in the rooms were late than earlier scheduled. Hope they can sort this out.

The room provide were neat and clean and friendly hotel staff they will provide you exceptional services, they will Call you from time to time to check if you need anything and inside the room they provide cleaning and hygiene kits. Total disappointment!! Was here a few years back for a dinner buffet and really enjoyed the selection of their Japanese cuisine. Went back last Saturday (Jan 9 2020), and unfortunately they didn’t live up to their hotel standards. Food selection was awful, dry, looked like it stayed there for a few days, only saving grace was the grilled section (pork, beef, chicken, and salmon) tuna sashimi & tempura. No carving station, no fresh seafood, no salad bar etc. Paid 1800 per pax (with voucher — 2400+ is the original price). Never again! Go spend your money elsewhere.

For authentic Japanese food and service I recommend Yurakuen Japanese Resto inside the hotel

AWFUL SERVICE UNFORTUNATELY... We are totally disappointed how a "Night duty Manager PAULO" treated his guest in a very RUDE way, it was 2am in the morning came from far and I needed to go straight to the hotel to stay for a night because we have an RTPCR test early morning for our upcoming flight and he directly told me that it is not allowed for me to stay with my HUSBAND because it is their protocol with the covid not to allow me BUT OFFERED ME TO PAY FOR A NIGHT INSTEAD?!!! isn't it so RIDICULOUS?? they won't allow me to stay with my husband to think that I have stayed in the hotel for few times and other colleagues of him let me stayed and I even get my own room key. The other RUDE PART OF HIS OFFERING is to call my HUSBAND that is currently sleeping at 2am just to inform him that he will not allow me to stay for the night.. THIS GESTURE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! Since he has the position in the hotel makes him have a POWER to treat his guest in whatever ways he wants. LITERALLY NO HOSPITALITY SERVICE AT ALL!!! THIS IS UNFORGIVABLE!!!

The hotel is beautiful inside but the human feeling with clients is the worst that I see in my world travels. I did one week of hard quarantine here and the food was only white rice and few sauce, they didn't listen the requisitions of clients or haven't explanetion for this miss of services... A camping in tent will be thousand times better and more cheap .The worst week of my life, RED BIG CROSS

Came here to eat dinner at their buffet. We love the food, though i was looking forward to more kinds of food. They don't have the steak and squid when we went there, but still, the food tastes awesome.

The Hotel is well located , large lobby and the rooms and corridors give a good impression . Service is run down . Breakfast selection is no way in line with a 4-5 star standards .

We stayed here for my birthday and I can easily say that this is one of the best hotels in Manila. The room is clean and well kept. I must say; however, that their toiletries weren't that great so if you are staying for long, make sure to bring your own.

Well maintained room and luxury feel despite the age. Loved the service, very acommodating staff. So-so breakfast buffet but food at Lobby Lounge is great. Be sure to flash your Diamond Indulgence card if you have one to avail discount. Must try is the Baked Cheesecake.

The hotel was remarkable, the place is big and ambiance is great too. The food was great but we have to wait in line in the buffet area before we can actually sit as the place is full during breakfast. If you want to take your lunch or dinner at their buffet area, you have to make a reservation in advance. Checkout takes too long especially when validating your parking ticket. Also their parking space is limited.

The rooms were spacious. Welcome fruits were served. There was also a complimentary bottle of water for each guest. There was ample set of tea, coffee and sugar. Toiletries were provided, along with robes, towels, bedroom slippers. There was even an iron and ironing board in the closet, along with the safety vault. Of course, there's a ref and TV. The room was so cozy that we stayed in the room most of the time and didn't get to try out the amenities other than the pool. They have a gym, steam room and sauna, jacuzzi available between 7 AM-10 pm upon reservation.

The overall experience in the hotel was great. The hotel staff, from the entrance to the rooms, were very accommodating and approachable. The location is highly accessible and could be reached by food deliveries, if you opt to eat in the hotel. The room was comfortable to stay in, but one would notice that the hotel is a bit old. The food was great as well.

Attended an event here and the food was good. The bathrooms were clean. But from the parking lot you have to take a narrow stairway. So they assume you drop of everything in the main entrance. Not sure if there was an elevator. Maybe a service elevator.

Seafood is good.... but steak and lamb chops slices are too thin .... steak slices must be 3/4" to 1" thick.

One observation that I have is that there are very few selections in their breakfast buffet post pandemic maybe. They also maintain their high standard with their strict dress code policy.

Place is superb as well as the kind customer service. Elevator requires a card to operate so if you're a visitor, contact the guest first to fetch you down the reception area because you won't be abke to go up the room on your own. Food is heaven. I loved it. Room is not so cool and not so hot - just really perfect for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Bathroom is probably one of my fave. Tried the bathtub and it was great. I heard there was a free sauna as well but I wasn't able to try. Overall, I love the experience and I hope to visit again soon.

Ziemlich großes Hotel... Der Service und das Personal sind wie meistens auf den Philippines sehr gut... Das Hotel ist schön ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen, die Ausstattung ist also etwas älter und sieht auch dementsprechend aus, war aber noch soweit alles in Ordnung! Das Essen und der Service dort sind gut und es gibt reichlich Auswahl. Das Hotel liegt an der der Promenade und hat für Manila eine recht gute Aussicht...Wir haben uns das Viertel Intramuros angeschaut... Was mit dem Auto so 8-10min entfernt liegt, was bei dem Verkehr in Manila nicht sehr weit ist. Das Hotel hat eine große Garage was die Anfahrt mit dem Auto sehr entspannt macht. Wer also ein gutes Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmer/Badezimmer sucht ist hier genau richtig! Es ist zwar nicht ganz billig aber für 1-3 Nächte kann man das mal machen
