The room was average, our air-conditioning wasn't working when we got there and they couldn't fix it. They ended up giving us an electric fan. The facilities look good. Watch out for the 20% surcharge on delivered foods. The place is close to the airport so not too bad... it is quite hidden so getting there and getting out and about is a bit of a mission. Overall... 3 stars is quite generous.

Very poor, So far the worst stay. Wifi is very bad I need to call the receptionist to help me connected so many times and when they decided to transfer me to other room with better reception the guy who assist us never even offer help to move our luggage. I need to call back the front office and remind them we are waiting. Also no slippers air-con doesn't work well and very noisy. There is also bugs in the toilet. Not the type of hotel I will recommend to friends. Overall stay experienced is bad.

Selah! First time to visit as staycation with colleagues, the buffet dinner is acceptable the. price is fair, but the breakfast is not appropriate as breakfast menu. The room where I stayed lack the proper function on the toilet bowl flash, and first time, soap, shampoo and conditioner one in 3 wow! Can be recommended for transient from nearby provinces from the south but not from international accommodation.

when we arrived at the hotel we had to wait a long time till we finally checked it. the stuff was friendly and helpful but our room was not and the bedsheets had stains on them. I was kinda surprised that the rooms looked so different from the ones on the internet. the door did not work properly and made very loud noises when it was closed. My mother got a massage by a lady and when they were finished she left the hotel. the next when we checked out we got a penalty of 4000 PHP because they said somebody saw the massage lady smoking in the hotel. We ended up paying the penalty which I personally think is very ridiculous because it is not our fault.

Some minor maintenance is required in the room I had. The door was sticky and did not close all the way without pushing or pulling. T&B were very clean but the room isn't cleaned unless requested. I would stay there again. Staff was great, helpful, and courteous. Didn't is the pool but enjoyed being around it.

Infested room with cockroaches. We ask the frontdesk to do something but no action and O solution given. Although staff was polite, the facilities are not well maintained and cleaned. Not advisable for family or couple looking for comfy room and environment. Location and Selah spa was good.

Spacious room, good food and the staff were helpful. The hotel shows signs of age but still value for money for the price point. -1 star for having a unique hotel rule on corkage for outside food. My first time to encounter this for hotels/staycations

First time visited. We stayed for 2 days, The staff is very friendly but they seem confused especially for some problems! First day of staying there we ended not being able to use the key card for our room! We had to go downstairs and ask some help! (5 times in two days). Last day of our staying it’s the same thing! Leave the room, get locked out… each time we waited so long for someone who could let us into our room! I hope the management will be aware and fix this problems!

I stayed here for 3 nights. I could say the room was spacious and clean. The service was good and fast. There is seven eleven in front of the hotel, which is good. The thing is I was not familiat with their type of air conditioner. So I had to get help from staff to show me how to make it works. I hope they would have a guideline in the room. When you checked in, they would give a voucher code for wifi. I didn't get it why they gave me voucher who would expired on my 2.5 day. So, I had ti ask them to give me the new one. There was such unfortunate event happened after I check out. I lost my wallet. I have been ensured the last time I saw my wallet when I was at the lobby waiting for my grabcar. I called the hotel, unfortunately they could not find it.

I checked in last Oct.31 until Nov.2 and one housekeeping staff conducted housekeeping way past the standard housekeeping time. The staff opened our room and mistakenly accessed our room (room#223). I asked why he opened our door and was told that he didn't know that the room was occcupied. I told the "ignorant guy" what is the purpose of his two-way radio if he cannot confirm thru radio if the room is occupied or not...he found us half-naked and so i tried calling front desk to file a complaint but there seems nobody at front desk to answer my call. So I dress up and went downstairs to talk to whoever is in charge,...but was rold that the Manager went home already,....so i told the lady in the front desk that i need to talk to their superior in the morning, which the lady acknowledged and said will inform the Manager,...but I got no response up to the time i left the hotel....Privacy is a big thing especially in an establishment like yours....if you do not value privacy.....your guest do!!!!!

Do not book your quarantine here. It’s pretty much a scam. Selah is selling a stringent quarantine package for 14 days and we reserved this. However, when arrived in Manila airport, was notified by DOH that this hotel is not eligible for stringent quarantine. Why on earth would they be selling a stringent quarantine package then?? Such a scam. I emailed them about this and received no answers from them.

Poor management. We arrived at the hotel from the airport at 9 a.m. and were told that the check-in time would be at 3 p.m. There's 25 of us in every region (due to an event), and we will be accommodating 6 rooms. We waited until 3 p.m., but only 3 rooms were given, and the rest were still unavailable due to unfinished cleaning. They should stick to their scheduled time! And it's so unfair that the other regions were accommodated first when, in fact, we got there first. Very disappointing! The front office was also instructed to issue two official receipts. They had to call me late at night to verify this, lol. The faucet on our room's CR woke us up early in the morning due to pressure on the water created annoying noises.

When I emailed your Sales and Marketing Manager, she said that you don't allow "room sharing" for non-OFWs who are husband & wife and coming from the same household. The husband has a medical condition that needs assistance, therefore, staying together in one room is necessary. IATF allows it, so why won't you?

Very cozy and calm place to stay at a busy and rush city of Manila. The staff are always there to help you. In hotel restaurant, pool access and some adventure activities within the perimeter makes it more exciting.

Place is bad if you guys want to stay for quarantine. They gave my parents only one towel, and one slippers for them to use for the whole 10 days. That’s just downright upsetting. Also, the day they arrived they said they won’t be offered breakfast and lunch, and the only time they will get food is when dinner will start. Bad service. Smh I’m very disappointed.

Had a pleasure to stay for overnight with family. Mainly was attracted to the activities offered - we tried the wall climbing, the high ropes and zipline and having all these activities within the Metro is a huge plus! The facilities are in great condition. Stayed at Stellar room with loft beds where all beds are neatly done up, needless to say all of us had a goodnight sleep. The room is bright, well-lighted, and very clean, comes with living room and dining table and separate toilet and bath. We enjoyed the food we ordered from Tabla Restaurant both for our family dinner and breakfast - some of our personal favorites were Laing con Morcon, Crispy Pinakbet, Gambas Ala Pobre, Filipino Breakfast, Yang Chow Fried Rice, etc. Selah is a home away from home and living true to it's name - "a place to pause and take a break"

My friends and I stayed in a group room and it was decent for something to sleep for the night. The staff was friendly and accommodating, points on that. My only comment from the room is minor and it is about the shower room that the floor wasn't that recessed and when we take a shower, water sips out and getting the room floor wet. Appreciate it if the management finds a solution to this.

Selah Garden looks great on their pictures and exterior facade, their modus runs on a bait and switch scheme and in reality: 1. No working/stable WiFi (out of range) or once accessible speed is disappointing that mobile data is faster is more reliable and stable. 2. Even if you report item 1 they take their time on addressing it or even providing status on how or when it will be resolved. 3. The room was old, there were a lot of small cockroaches roaming around, rusty bathroom faucets & the walls are not soundproof. 4. Sanitazion and maintainance of the place is not a priority as upon entering the room you will notice dust, hair from previous guest, unclean cups, plates and utensils with again also have cockroaches playing hide and seek (cheap motels are even better than them on this) 5. There is a corkage fee but no restaurants nearby that will force you to order food from them which is OVERPRICED. 6. The food here is horrible and the portion are too small. 7. The chlorine in the pool was too strong. Smell sticks for almost a day. 8. Location: the streets around the hotel are not safe to walk. Too many street vendors and homeless people staying outside the hotel. 9. The service is very slow and the front desk don’t know how to apologize and pacify their guests. 10. Staff were placing announcement or safety reminders by banging on the wall despite knowing we are still still checked in. 11. They don't give a heads up and prioritize privacy of their guest as there was an incident that our curtain was open and staff were cleaning or passing by the window / roof 12. Aircon looks run down and does not consistently work properly. I would not recommend this hotel for family or couple who are looking for a relaxing stay, accommodating staff and peaceful environment. Thanks to Agoda they refunded our 1 night stay and were more responsible to our concern and issues. Unlike the hotel manager who does not even show empathy towards us even if we have already experienced and reported all the sub standard quality of their hotel and services they have. Manager sounded more frustrated vs us and was not open minded on how to settle or meet halfway on our concern. He even sarcastically stated that we should have raised concern earlier regarding the pests and cockroaches as if they have a schedule on when they will show up and show how infested their rooms are (we have video and pictures with date and timestamps of the pests in our room its plus for that we did not caught on video all of the pest since we panicked and killed most of them already) All in all good for AGODA for showing how to properly attend to guest concerns side note that a stricter and more trasparency on hotels listed on the site. For the hotel itself 0 stars especially for helath and sanitazion concerns.

A refreshing oasis within the city because of its trees, hanging gardens and patches of greeneries and open spaces. It's like being in a suburb or a province. Filipino and international food tastes great too.

We booked via booking.com but when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist could'nt find our booking reference and advised us to contact booking.com. Since we are very tired after travelling for more than 12 hours from our province I decided to check in as walk in guest, even though we have already booked and they charged us from our booking! So we paid twice for our stay! I am trying my best to contact Selah but they are very hard to reach out! 👎

Just got home from our staycation at The Selah Garden Hotel. We have stayed in stellar 2 unit. Here are the reasons why I gave this hotel a four star. 1. It’s a 100% SMOKE FREE area. 2. HOSPITALITY - The staff are so accommodating and very helpful.. 3. FOOD - not that big serving but I think the prices are still fair. We would love to try the breakfast buffet however, it was not available when we stayed there 😞 4. VALUE OF MONEY - It’s affordable and worth it. 5. LOCATION - they said the location is good.. it’s just that we are not familiar in Manila streets.. we almost got lost because google maps were directing us to either closed or one way streets. However it’s near to Roxas boulevard and other Manila Tourist spots if you want to have a city tour. The only thing I didn’t like was that they told me the room is good for 10 people but it has only 3 double beds so I have tried to request for 1 extra mattress with pillow and blanket, but they said there’s an additional fee of 600 since it will be considered as additional person 😥 Also, you are not allowed to bring your own food or to cook. You can only bring chips and softdrinks inside. The rest, you will be charged 50% corkage fee.. All in all, the experience was great! Kuddos to the management and the team. You guys are all amazing 🥰 God bless you

Very close to airport but getting to hotel thru the narrow streets is a challenge. The hotel is truly an oasis and the sounds of birds and the cockerel is great. The live music was a bit loud and the mosquitoes are quite bad. But food was great and so was the staff and service.

Everything is great with this hotel. The staffs were very helpful. The only problem there is the parking space. It can only accommodate atleast 15 vehicles extending to the road. And the road on the way to the hotel is narrow. Nevertheless, will still get back there.

I appreciated the feel of luxury in the rooms. The staff was helpful and attentive and the breakfast is a semi buffet of salad, breads and cakes. Amazing atmosphere in the main lobby.

You get what you pay for - a slight step above a hostel. Pool was undergoing maintenance when we were there so didn’t use it or the restaurant. The outdoor activities look cool but not sure how to use them…staff were accommodating and friendly. Location is central but not the most upscale neighborhood. Semi close to the light rail.

The Selah Gardens is a great option for the three star hotel. It is not a luxury property, but it has a great location and a very accommodating staff. Drawbacks are that it is very strict on outside services to protect the in house business . But overall I recommend it as a great economically friendly to the family traveler

A budget hotel that is not worth your money. We booked 3 types of rooms: standard double, triple room, friendship room for 4. The parking can only accommodate 10 cars, small and limited. The check-in service is slow even if we arrived before 3pm. They reasoned out that rooms are not yet available which seems fishy because the checkout time should be 12nn. The airconditioned rooms are old and not working properly (not getting cold or suddenly turns off in the middle of the night). They only provide one room keycard so you can't leave the aircon on. The service is so-so, room amenities such as the 3-in-1 soap, slippers, cups, etc are incomplete. When requested for the incomplete items, it took us 3 follow ups to receive them. The elevator is slow. The cable tv needs to be checked first because it was static. The wifi is slow and disconnects easily. The dinner buffet is so-so and not highly recommended. Also note that the hotel charges for 20% corkage fee for food and liquor bought outside the hotel. Dress code for the swimming pool is also not followed when there is a lot of people at night but they only enforced it during the afternoon. The hotel manager seems to be around but did not pay attention. Our overnight rest became an overnight headache.

A bit difficult to reach the place due to some small streets leading and going out of the location. Selah’s concept though is great for families and friends and also for short stays. Thanks so much to the staff especially to Jing and Vince for their excellent customer service. Except for one negligible hiccup on check in everything was a breeze. Served us all the time with smiles on their faces. Would definite come back to Selah.

We booked a friendship room for 6 (with one additional pax) a week before. We stated on our booking that we'd check in between 6 pm and 7 pm (after work hours). On our check-in day, they canceled our booking without prior notice at 5:42 pm, when we were already on our way to the hotel. They did not even reply when asked about the reason for the cancellation. We had no choice but to cancel our weekend plans. WE'LL NEVER BOOK AGAIN ON THIS HOTEL!

Nice hotel for short stays! We attended a convention and stayed for 1 night. 1. We are a group of 5 people and booked a 10-bed room via Agoda because that was the only room that could accommodate our group. Upon check-in, we found out that our room has no CR inside and we need to use the common bathroom. We asked nicely if there was another room available and we were willing to add a fee if needed. Thankfully, there was a 6-bed room with its own CR available so they transferred us for free. They were so polite and easy to talk to! 2. Room was clean and average. Perfect for short stays. They provided slippers, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, towels. Drinking water was available per floor. 3. Staff was so polite and friendly! They know how to treat guests. 4. Important to note that buffet breakfast is only available during the weekends. We ordered food from Tabla Restaurant which was sulit because of generous servings, good for 2 persons. 5. Fun to watch people trying out the hotel’s outdoor activities. 🤣 6. There is a 7-11 and coffee shop located beside the hotel. You can also order food online and eat inside your room.

Long check in time, key card didn't work even after returning to check in desk 2 times. Wifi connects but there is no usable internet. Hot and cold shower is same temperature, no hot really. Other people's hair under the sheets when I first got in the room so unclear how clean the bed was. Many house rules so read them before you book. Good towels, and nice double AC in the room.

A secluded place to stay, with complete hotel amenities like pool, elevator, lobby at every floors, near conveniece store, not far from Edsa, Pasay and have local transportation available. The only thing I did not like is that a common toilet was provided for a family rooms & male and female combined with urinal beside wide mirror on the lavatory area ?

Reception are very helpful if you ask or question. We stay here for 5 days coming from England to Manila. It's a nice stay I like there balcony spacious and I like the chair comfortable while having a coffee. Air-conditioning leaking water when you turn on so when you go to bathroom it's wet floor. Lights is a bit confusing the switch. 2 days before I figure out the switch at corner lights at the room... it's a separate.. Would be nice if they have international socket for charging phone. They still using American plug in. Which is I need to buy at the supermarket to have adaptor socket. Overall stay is comfortable because laundry is just outside next to 7/11 convenient store. Alfamart groceries at your left side when you go out. Taxi is easy to get outside, or grab. I will recommend this hotel I enjoy the staying here convenient and reasonable price compare to the chain hotel.

This place is horrible. Fan did not work shower handle broken. Switch lights button loose. Cockaroaches crawling. Shower drain slow, flood the room. Even charge you fee for outside food. And got double charge for it upon checking out. We did not had receipt with us. I ask them to check in their tab or data for the charges. Deny it was not log in.

We arrived at 2:45 sharp to avoid their early check-in fees but they took 40 mins to check us in, as if they weren’t aware we had a reservation in the first place. TV in the room doesn’t have WiFi nor can it be used for cable. Bed is too creaky. Room service is overpriced. Aircon seems like it’s from the 1950s as it was noisy AF. Staff is unhelpful. Shower is okay, same as selah lofts, you’d be surprised that you’ll use the shampoo as body wash as well, lol! And the toilet has this certain stench of the previous users. Overall, take your money elsewhere, even sogo could’ve provided you better service.

Overall it was an excellent stay. All the internal staff and OJT were so accommodating from Front Office to Rooms, specially Mr. Pio (OJT in Tabla Resto), they provided all our needs. Foods and Drinks were so good, guest must try Liempo Negra, Seafood Chopseuy, Laing, Continental and Filipino Breakfast, Grilled Tuna etc. But I have few remarks on your Sinigang and cookies and cream, too fatty less meat for sinigang and we can't bite the cookies coz its too thick and hard. 5/5 Ambience of swimming pool is so good even day and night, I love it during night time, pool attendant is so attentive and hospitable to our needs, but few kids were diving in shallow part which is not safe. 4.5/5 Rooms are good (not so luxurious), strong wifi even you go down to lobby and pool (no interruption), TV with cable and they used smart TV. But your AC is not cooling, you need to check it, your so lucky coz we manage it, but we are sweating.. Hahah.. Overall is good (right for the price). 4/5 My only issue is your security, since day 1 up to day 3 I observed them not attentive, they both playing on their mobile phone specially when we go down at night, they didn't greet or even look for anyone/guest who passed by at lobby coz their busy playing, they didn't see us passed by for so many times, In our property both Front Office staff and Security has a same company culture. You must aligned your security with your service standards, mission and vision. Please teach them guest service. They just reacting if the parking is clogging. By the way I'm a Security Manager in a Forbes 5 star Hotel and Casino Industry. 1/5 Me and my wife were both employees of 5 star Hotel and Casino in Pque. We will go back here soon with friends and relatives. - Guest from Room 214, March 28-30

The place is right in the busy pasay along Park Avenue towards EDSA. The road is two lane but can be tricky for large vehicles or when teicycles and ambulant vendors compete with the already narrow road. Parking is limited and could be a challenge. The place is homey with large swimming pool in the center and the the coffee shop have several long communal tables where patron sits .
