The hotel in itself looks great, the rooms are very clean and the bathroom was also spotless. The hotel operates from 7 A.M to 7 P.M you can still go in and out from the hotel past those hours but the staff are mostly not seen during this times and only the security guards. The hotel has pool but I didn't have the chance to try them out, the only thing I know is that when its past 7 P.M they will charge guest 300 Pesos when you want to use the pool. If you decided to stay here make sure that you first inspect every inch of the room you will be staying at as they might just charge you for something that was already there. I went to this hotel during May 2 2023, it was at first a pleasant experience, but when breakfast time came in from the next day my disappointment started. The breakfast of the buffet was limited to only 5-6 foods counting 2 rice options, 3 dishes, and 1 soup. The hotel also has self service for you're water. So you literally have to get up and go to a water station near you're table. The first day of breakfast they didn't even have coffee for the guest and when asked how much it cost it takes 120 Pesos for a cup of instant coffee. Second day was a bit more acceptable but the food in itself feels like you're dining in one a cafeteria at school. But the worst one was in the third and final day where they served fish which I think was expired. Fried fish I didn't know a hotel can mess up fried fish that bad but they did, not only was the fish just inedible, but the owner has the courage to interview guest during meal time while wearing only her pajamas. So in conclusion I would really not recommend in staying at this hotel if you want to have a more luxurious experience find another hotel.

Not recommended though the facility is great, the management is poor. Does not know how to manage the hotel. Nag micro manage sya, the owner herself is the one doing front office job, roaming at the buffet breakfast on pajamas and slippers and even collect meal stub from custmer. The staff are well trained and the operation will be great if the owner is not there. She should learn to trust and respect her staff. She should learn that hospitality service is service by the heart, not service to hurt guest. She should learn the business. Very bad experience to most of us. Really bad management.

Nice and cozy place to chill with your friends and family. Affordable food and drinks @ Sky Sports Pub, plus they held events like acoustic night live band and other type of celebrations or holidays.

Wide parking space. Accomodating staff. They have a cafe and a bar (which is only open during the weekends). Nice staircase and elegant restroom.

The rooms are brand new and the staff is very hospitable. If anything is wrong GM will make sure your stay is amazing. And it's only 30 mins away from our place in makati skyway then alabang zapote road and your there we will definitely be back

The rooms are spacious and clean. However, additional pillows will be great (there were only 2 each bed). We also need to request other amenities like towels, robes (they said they only provide upon request). We were a bit disappointed to find out the free breakfast at Buffet Gourmand will be plated, we expected a buffet. It was good that the waiter there was exceptional in customer service. Sad that I didn't get his name but he deserves a pat on his back. The pool was kid friendly however my kids complained of the flowers, leaves and insects that keeps on the pool. We saw nets added which were not there when we last stayed there but probably as a suggestion it will be best to place some polycarbonate roof instead to ensure the pool will be free from those. My daughter also said the pool needs more cleaning as the bottom is a bit dirty. Overall, it was a good stay however raising this concerns for improvement.

Hotel is new and provides basic comfort to guests. However, entering their buffet breakfast will greet you by staff "No leftover po". I suggest to change it to "Good Morning". Basic right?! Buffet Breakfast is not worth it. Choices were few and appears to be from yesterday esp the breads. Coffee tastes terrible and burnt with dregs. Buffet staff is rude. Forced us to eat a piece of chicken that does not taste good, with their no leftover policy. We only took 1 piece of chicken, tasted it and does not suit our taste. We only took 1 because we understood the no leftover policy and that we will only get another one if we liked it. I suggest that if they will do this constantly to guests to keep their tacky cheap strategy to save on cost, their buffet breakfast should be in "bite size" or "free taste size" like the free taste booth in groceries (ex. cut the sausage in 4parts so if it does not taste good, you dont need to worry about them forcing you to eat the entire sausage). We lost our appetite after the incident and most did not bother getting food. With this, my Tip on breakfast: Get a spoon of soup only, a spoon of rice, half egg on omelette, half a bread, a spoon of coffee, cut the sausage, cut the chicken serving before you place on your plate. Get in "bite size" only so you dont need to worry about being forced to eat a proper serving if you dont like the taste. We dont have control on the taste of their food. My kids' feet were full of scratches and small cuts after using the pool. We cannot figure out where the sharp edges are. We raised to management and found that there is another parent with the same issue experienced by her kids. There is no cover between parking and hotel. It was raining when we checked in and from parking we hurried to the nearest glass door, which we were surprised to be closed by management. They just pointed to the other door signaling we have to enter there (another walk in the rain). It was ok only if it wasnt raining and we dont have our luggages with us. Simply opening the glass door in such cases will lessen the already distressing situation with rain. Also, management and staffs should learn to discuss guests issues behind doors. You can hear them discussing the situation and see how displeased they were with their guests. WONT RETURN SOON.

Looks promising and elegant outside but I have to wait for it's opening to give this hotel proper rating. The pandemic most likely is the reason for the delay... and accommodation service is not a demand yet.

The rooms are nice and spacious. Service is okay, the staff are friendly. But sometimes they tend to be noisy while on duty. They’re not sure which is the bestseller or what to recommend (this is at the cafe) and water tastes off. They turn off the lights at the restaurant, so if you’re not aware of their service hours you’ll think that they are closed (but they’re still operating). Food is okay, but they served me the wrong food and gave my order to the other table. Mind you, there were only 2 customers at that time (my fam and the other table) took about 20-25 min to serve our orders. Had to ask multiple times for condiments etc. The complimentary bottled water on our room was already open (used). But they gave us 2 extra bottles after I told them that. Breakfast was okay, the buffet area looks “sad” cos there’s not much choices. You have to ask for the butter etc. the ones cooking at the pancake and egg area left early. Overall, the rooms are okay but thats it. If you want a better experience maybe try the hotels at Alabang, I believe its better there.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Excelsior Hotel for two nights during my best friend's wedding, and it was a memorable experience. Here's a breakdown of my stay: Check-in: We arrived at 10:30 pm, and the check-in process was a breeze, making our late arrival hassle-free. Room: We booked a deluxe room with one king bed, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, with a generous wardrobe/closet, a comfortable bed, and pillows that ensured a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a wide mirror, adding to the convenience. Buffet Breakfast: The buffet breakfast was a delightful surprise. Alongside the typical offerings like longanissa and tocino, there were some dishes like beef steak and a chicken dish (I forgot what it's called). Fresh fruits, salads, and the option to customize your egg preferences with the help of the staff made breakfast a treat. Bar with Live Music: We absolutely loved the bar with live music. It was the perfect spot for the after-party of our friends' wedding. The reasonably priced drinks and the entertaining performances by Jessica and the other musician added to the fun. I highly recommend trying the chicharon bulaklak and beef salpicao. The mojito and margarita were excellent choices, and we couldn't resist having 15 shots of Patron Tequila, even though it was a bit on the expensive side per shot. Areas for Improvement: -Check-out: The check-out process took longer than expected, possibly due to someone having to inspect the room. Despite placing all the towels back in their places, it still took some time. However, it was tolerable. -Room Service Menu: It would be helpful to have a menu available for room service, which is a standard feature in many other hotels. -Toiletries: The toiletries provided in the room (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were too small, and we ran out on the night of our arrival – and we couldn't request for more because room service is already unavailable by 10pm. Overall, The Excelsior Hotel provided a wonderful experience, and the bar with live music was a standout feature. We would love to return, if not for the horrendous traffic on Alabang-Zapote Road, even late at night.

Garbage accommodation for a 4* hotel. Even charged us 5x the price of a broken wine glass. On the buffet area, they turned off the aircon at 10PM whilst we’re still eating. To top that off, the crew kept staring at us while we eat, as if we are a bother to them. We give you business and that’s how you treat your guests? It’s ridiculous.

Looks can be deceiving. Aside from their new and shiny facilities, there is nothing else to like. Would not recommend. -The service as they welcomed us was poor (we were an anticipated large group of guests) did not know how to handle us. -Only provided a single key card per room which was inconvenient. -In our several days of stay, only served instant coffee along with packets of sugar and cream, I expected at least brewed coffee from a 4-star hotel. -Breakfast buffet was unpalatable.

Horrible hotel experience because they accused my family of stealing a bath towel when in fact it was due to an inventory error on their part. Several guests who stayed the day before we checked in were also accused as well as we heard them complaining when we were just about to check in. Customer service is zero as they take an extremely long time to respond to room service requests or front desk requests. They truly deserve 0 stars in my opinion. Their bath slippers ripped into a million pieces! Will never stay here again or recommend to friends or family! An absolute dump only advertised as a hotel with new facilities.

Last Chinese New Year, my family and I stayed at the Excelsior Hotel and had a fantastic time. We were relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay and even recommended the hotel to my brother for his vacation in the Philippines. However, our recent stay at the Excelsior Hotel was far from enjoyable. My brother and his friends felt unwelcome and undervalued as guests, as the guards at the ground lobby made them feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. We were extremely disappointed by the preferential treatment given to foreign nationals. Throughout our stay, we noticed how hotel staff treated them with extra care and respect, while my brother and his friends were overlooked and unfairly treated. They have witnessed how the guards accommodated all requests made by foreign guests, regardless of how unreasonable or demanding they were. Additionally, the comfort room door in our room was difficult to open, and we were worried that our children might get trapped inside. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of the hotel receptionist, we were only told that they would coordinate with management. To add insult to injury, my brother and his friends encountered judgmental guards and staff at the swimming pool area, who questioned them about their plans and accommodations. The guards even followed them to the smoking area, making them feel undervalued as guests. This was the first time we experienced such treatment. Additionally, the guards at the ground floor insisted on charging us a corkage fee for our goods. However, this fee was not mentioned on the hotel's website or the FAQs section, making us feel like we were being taken advantage of. Overall, our second experience at the Excelsior Hotel was disappointing, and we cannot recommend it to other travelers. We hope that the hotel management will take steps to improve customer service and transparency in their operations to ensure that future guests do not have to endure the same negative experience that we did.

Deluxe Rooms are exquisite, Hotel is accessible via main road Alabang <> Zapote Road. Clearly a good alternative to other hotels located in Muntinlupa. Also lots of Conference rooms for rent

Would not recommend this for a family staycation, the staff is not accommodating for a 4-star hotel. Is this even a 4-star hotel? Please read this review before booking into this hotel. They would not allow any request for a late checkout even though their next check-in time the following day is 3 pm there is no consideration for their guest. Would not go back here again. Not kid-friendly they would only give you 2 towels when swimming even if you bring 2 children with you. Please try to check out another hotel rather than this one.

Stayed 2 nights in 2 Deluxe King Rooms on Mother's Day promo--great value for 3,888 PHP room/night! Rooms were spotless, service was top, and Front Desk was always ready and willing to help. I requested a late check-out and they gave me til 1pm, but a few hours later called back to say we could exit at 2pm. The extension was welcome, they could have not called back but did, which I appreciate. I didn't try the in-house restaurants as there were other places I'd been longing to try after 4 years away from the Philippines. Pool was clean, open from 7am to 7pm. Lifeguard who provides beach towels starts his shift at 10am so if you're planning an early swim, take a towel from the room with you.

It's a beautiful hotel with luxurious rooms and good facilities. The breakfast buffet could be improved. Plain rice, garlic fried rice, a vegetable dish, 2 main dishes like corned beef and tocino, pancake and egg station, salad station, 3 types of bread and 1-2 types of fruits

Affordable and aspacious parking with a large football field or could be a green for putt. Enjoyed my breakfast though it felt like pre heated. Good.

The resto was so slow. Waited 40mins for the ordered breakfast (for an omelette, bacon, sausage breakfast), that is even after 2 follow ups. Was told by the attendant that 30-45mins was the standard, which all of us know is contrary to the standard. Considering its pricepoint, this is bad. The rooms and room services are good. It's just the resto.

Company Christmas Party was held here. I just can't make any words on how I feel for what I have experienced here. So I'm just going to give you ratings instead. Food: 1/5 Server: 1/5 Room: 2/5 I couldn't finish my dessert cake because it doesn't have any taste. Feels like I'm just eating a sponge. Me and my officemate's wine glass smells like a cockroach so I asked the server to replace our wine glass, the server insisted that it was just the peach wine's smell. I asked my other officemates to confirm the smell and they all said it's cockroach. The server didn't bother and left. If my company would pick this place again, I'll just bring my own food.

I was able to visit their event room and it was clean. Their speakers for the event has good quality sound. Aircon was cold so prepare to have your jackets. They have coffee lounge so you can set your meetings there over coffee. They also have their dining place with ala carte servings (buffet is not yet available though their dining signage says buffet)😊. All the rest looks great👌👍😊

Brand new Hotel just opened last May this year , very clean and have a beautiful arrangement of the Restaurant they have a swimming pools for adults and for kids. Walking distance to the South Mall. The negative is the side walk. The people use the side walk as a parking lot. And it's very traffic . Scary to cross the street.

Very poor experience with the pool maintenance worker and manager just because our trunks is not made of a certain material.just for that reason we were kicked out of the pool.I have swam in pools in other hotels in other countries and have never been so insulted.VERY disappointed to have this happen in my home land. And the shower rooms are very dirty with cockroaches roaming around.

Very new hotel in the heart of Alabang. Quite an unexpected retreat as the building is recessed into the property. Everything feels and smells new. Big pool for families and kids. However, hotel is still in soft opening.

We did not stay for the night. We went to the hotel to attend our kids' face to face workshop and recital. Accessibility: can be accessed by both private and public vehicles. We can easily locate it in the area. Wheelchair friendly. Parking: free. Multiple level parking area for hotel customers. Spacious and organized traffic flow inside. Ambience: Classy and modern design. Calming house music. Clean and high end. Food: due to time, we were only able to eat at their cafe. Tried their chilled juice and dessert. Both tasted good. The food served in our kids' workshop suited their tastebuds. The veggie salad is fresh. Facility: 18th floor meeting rooms are neatly designed and can handle a number of various meetings at a time. Service and staff: friendly and accommodating. From the guard who handles the entrance, then we Inquired about their room rates and the front desk is welcoming. The cafe staff are also accommodating.

Expanse of the hotel is beyond amazing..great parking spaces that is separated from the main hotel...hotel staffs from the security to other service staff were all trained to accomodate guest needs. Pool is located on a separate area in the ground space that gives guest an enclave ambiance... Function halls and meeting rooms are exquisite to cater to big functions and events.

My husband and I loved our stay because of the room! We were initially assigned to a room with a connecting door, but the noise coming from the other room (kids crying and playing on their phones) was unbearable. We asked to be transferred and the second room was exceptional. The first room was also nice, but we really didn't like the idea of it being connected to another room, esp. with bad sound proofing. Breakfast buffet still not available, so it was plated. It was filling enough. Food choices in the cafe also limited. Hotel still smells crisp and brand new, because it is. Fast WiFi. Very accommodating staff, but not too in-your-face. :) Traffic in the area can get really bad, though, so we decided to walk to SM South Mall for dinner.
