İt is really interesting and nice to go, however if you go to this place without any information and idea where you are going you may get bored or unhappy. İt is really small place, a lot to say and a lot to show, but you need to know how to read the signs, what is this, from where is coming and all other general info that you can find in the web. There is an entrance fee around 3 euro, you can take pictures and you can buy some souvenirs. There is parking place close, but you need to walk a bit after. İt is good for young and teens and all ages :)

Beautiful and important history of Bulgaria. Unfortunately you will see a copy of the original tomb. If you are not prepared what are you watching or without research before, you will be kind of disappointed as the tomb is really small and there is not enough information regarding what are you seeing. The staff was on their phones instead to say some interesting facts to make the visit more interesting. Price is about €3 pp. There is a free carpark just at the bottom of the tomb's steps.

A great example of how to preserve thousands of years old heritage - making a replica for tourists to visit! It's a small space with historical photos and recreation of the trakian tomb.

Unfortunately, I decided to visit the tomb only based on the description in Google Maps, without reading the reviews. What is actually at display is a copy, while the original is locked. It is not worth the travel, particularly as there are several other tombs in the vicinity that are open for visitors eager to learn about the Thracian culture. Tombs of Seuths III, Shushmanets/Helvetia are worth the visit. The other difference is the staff in those places. Excellent in Shushmanets, very good at Seuths III and rude at Kazanlak. Do not waste your time going to Kazanlak. The description should be edited to avoid misunderstandings.

Visited the Thracian Tomb as well as the houses of the time. We did this as part of a guided day trip from Plovdiv. There are several tombs in the Kazanlak area but this is one of the few you can visit. There is lots of information to read. We went on a Sunday early afternoon and there was only a few people there, so no need to wait.

Unfortunately was not possible to access the Real tomb. There is only a copy open to the public. The signs in the park are totally missing.

One of the things you must see when you are in Kazanlak.Great peace of history. It is a reconstruction of the original, you must know, but still leaves you speechless with the beauty of details and accuracy in anatomy and execution. It is inexpensive so you must visit it.

Very disappointing. Historically, it is important, but you can see and learn more by going to Google. The photos I posted are it. That is the exhibit.

If you are in Kazanluk and you want a trip back in time then you have to visit this original Thracian tomb from the 4th – 3rd century BC, situated in the Tyulbeto park. For easy to understand reasons, the original tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is closed to public access but an identical copy of it, located in the immediate vicinity, can be visited daily from 09.00 to 17:30. Taxes are 6 €/adult and families benefit from a reduced access rate (4 euro / adult + 2 euro / child, pupil, student). A place you must see!

The visiting schedule is 09:00-17:00. We got there at 17:06 ... Already too late. The oficial site tells the schedule is until 17:30. I will update the review and rsting once I manage to visit it.

This is a copy of the actual thracian tombs that are not open to the public due to the preservation of the paintings. However, it is very well copied at full scale so we can easily represent how it is. The ceiling is a bit low in the tomb and the museum doesn't accept the credit card or the euro so we had to get some Levs first to pay the visit.

An impressive feat of culture from centuries, millenia even, before. Not so impressive the poorly organized, apparently abandoned works for a decent parking place. Living proof the glory of Thrakia has lived it's day.

The area where it's located is very pleasant and maintained - nice place to relax. But the original tomb cannot be seen from the inside. Just outside. And then there's the replica where you'd need to pay 6 levs per head to see but it is mediocre work - not worth it.

You should know you can only visit a replica, the original is not opened to the public.

A lovely little (copy of the) tomb. I can see why they made a copy as the space is very small. The paintings are very clear and tell a lovely story about the deceased and the time. Parking at the bottom of the hill. Take the stairs or follow the road up through the park.

Biggest scam ever. One meter space for 6 lv. Better go drink one cold beer for that price

Tourist trap. Original is closed for public (for many years), you can only visit a replica and YOU HAVE TO PAY 3€/person, an absolute joke. We didn’t get inside, we refuse to pay to see a copy.

Unusual place. Inside you can see just a copy of tomb's interior but it worth seeing. Up to 4 people are allowed. The acoustic is really great! And the murals are unbelievable.

Small but so beautiful. The stuff is really friendly and willing to answer any questions. The entrance is limited to 4 persons because the space is small but still, it's worth the wait (if there is any) and one can learn so much history

Set in a pleasant park in a nondescript Bulgarian town, this is a wonderful piece of history. But it's small, it's (understandably) a copy of the original, and you are over and done in about five minutes. Definitely worth a look if you are nearby, but not so sure it's worth a special trip.

The copy is open 7 days weekly and it is far only 50 m from the original one. Get in and get the chance to see the tomb and imagine if you have the power which this king had, would you make the same thing for the beloved one to stay for eternity together? The drawing on the ceiling is unique, and the copy is really made authentic as the original one. Have small shop for souvenirs.

Brilliant idea to make a copy instead of having tourists destroy the original! Loved the pictures. The guide in the tomb is very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions about ancient history of the region. Loved listening to her talks.

The guide Iva is awesome! She knows and narrates amazing facts.

Must visit! Albeit, this being a replica of the original tomb chamber, go and experience. Such an incredible example of Thracian history and traditions.

What you get to see is a replica, but it appears to have been faithfully done, and captures the feel of the original. Excellent place to see Thracian building and art.

Interesting how an almost 2700 years old place survived the millenia. The tomb is an exact replica of the real one, which is just a few meters away. Nice little shop with memorabilia as well.
