Not really far away from Warsaw Central, you can easily take the metro and then the bus to reach here. It was really beautiful and cozy. Highly recommend for family with kids or friends. Also you can see lots of people walk their dogs there.

(Translated by Google) I love the Kampinos Forest, but I do not agree that there are not many people or paths there. And the more so because you can "commune with mother nature" there. There are always wild crowds in the vicinity of parking lots (Truskaw, Granica), regardless of the weather or time of year. Of course, they deeply respect keeping some-such silence, not littering or leading dogs on leashes. Unscrupulous cyclists cross hiking trails and paths, rushing like crazy. They do not really see that the mower is walking, it may suddenly stop or trip and fall under their wheels. They also frequently ignore the prohibitions on riding on footbridges and rarely get off their bikes when they pass someone. During the berry and mushroom season, you can see how we care for our nature. Cars and scooters enter fire roads and hiking trails, even if they can barely fit there or someone is just following the trail. I do not blame the park guards / foresters for not doing anything about it, because what are they supposed to do with such a scale of the phenomenon? I guess just shoot without warning. The Kampinos Forest is a beautiful place with a very varied topography, vegetation and landscapes. However, hardly anyone comes there to walk and enjoy nature or get to know it. The forest is treated as a city park, where you can go wild: scream children, and adults organize bicycle races. However, this is probably not what the Kampinos National Park was founded for.

A beautiful, massive forest. Great for spotting wild animals and getting closer to nature. Very close to Warsaw with decent bus links. Definitely recommend for a stroll on a sunny day or a hike /bike ride. The sand dunes in it are a must see as well, a very unusual sight.

(Translated by Google) A brilliant forest close to the capital, worth visiting as part of a weekend break from the city. It is a National Park, so there are numerous restrictions, including entry by car - but thanks to this, the place was kept in a decent condition ... Varsovians would drive everything in their carts;) (Original) Genialny las blisko stolicy, warto odwiedzić w ramach weekendowego odpoczynku od miasta. Warszawiaki wszystko by rozjeździli swoimi furami ;)

(Translated by Google) Huge treasure right next to Warsaw. A great place for a bike, a walk, a trip in the woods. A beautiful natural monument worth visiting at any time of the year or day. And beware, it is easy to find a deer or moose here. Raspberry honey miracle! (Translated by Google) Living in Warsaw and having a national park “close by” is a great joy. Even if the road takes 40-50 minutes, as in my case. But great for walking, cyclists and athletes. There are places to stay. There was only one toilet, but closed due to the pandemic. Bus 110 and 250 arrive and pick up practically from the entrance / exit. This is if you go to the stop "Akcent".

If you are looking for a day trip to a forest close to warsaw, this is the perfect retreat. A perfect spot for a bike ride as well. Especially if you are looking for peaceful adventure, because unlike kabaty, there are very limited number of people around even on weekends.

Last weekend I spent a lovely time among gorgeous trees in Kampinowski Park Narodowa. My day started with a gentle run, which gave me mythical experience. Well prepared paths will please any type of the sport freaks. Moreover, forest is always neat and tidy. There isn’t any worries that our puppy will accidentally eat some abandoned trashes. Later, I used well designed wooden furniture in order to consume my brunch. I highly recommend eating under the sky to anyone. I finished my day while contemplating unique sounds of different variety of birds. I truly believe it was one of the best day in my life. Anyone should try it also !

It's a super place, so close to the city and yet some parts of it can look pretty wild, and sighting an elk or a deer isn't as unlikely as one might think. Of course, human presence there and trashy traces of "civilization" can sometimes be overbearing. I wish it was guarded more effectively. I walked a path across the marshes there, on a sunny day in the early spring. Pictures attached :-)

(Translated by Google) A very good place for MTB. Although many of the routes are sandy, there is always a side path that you can cross faster. A varied area. Lots of hills in some places. I haven't met ticks yet. However, there are plenty of mosquitoes. RIP for those who walk or run there, rather than ride it. (Original) Bardzo dobre miejsce na MTB. Chociaż wiele tras jest piaszczystych, to zawsze można znaleźć boczną ścieżkę, którą można szybciej przejechać. Teren urozmaicony. Wiele wzniesień w niektórych miejscach.
