Good n clean mosque with holy vibe inside

Java old mosque always mesmerizing. Big hall inside, wood column, big door and windows all made by wood. Not only a place to “talk” with god but also place to learn some great quality architecture.

Cozy place to pray, I enjoy rest there

One of the cultural heritage relics in the city of Pekalongan that is still preserved and well maintained. The Great Mosque of Al-Jami Pekalongan is also one of the oldest mosques in Pekalongan. The location is strategic in the center of Pekalongan city so it is easy to reach from all directions.

Clean and comfortable

This old great mosque (masjid jami') is one of the greatest mosques in Central Java with huge wooden pillars, windows and doors inside. Located accross the Alun-Alun (town square) with lots of traditional food stalls (garang asem, lontong lemprak) near Batik Kampoong, this place becomes a cool and cozy place for visitors to rest and pray before eat and shop...

One of the Pekalongan icon. It is the oldest mosque and still well maintained. Unfortunately, the women toilet need to be repaired since it looks dirty and old with broken pipes and walls.
