Hidden find in Kuta! Delicious food & friendly chef. He is one man show running the restaurant, so pls be patient to him. * Thai curry is 5/5 - authentic & delicious. This is vegetables-only, so if you are a vegan, you may consider this. * Nasi goreng 5/5 - generous portion, delicious * Ayam taliwang 5/5 - The chef successfully adapted this chicken dish to non spicy version. * Affordable! Each dish averaged out to abt 35k idr I low-key hoping that he'd succeed & able to sustain his business, so I can eat his food when I go back to Kuta in the future 🥹🥹.

Small shop run as a one man show with local style in very simple setting. Serves 5 dishes of which we tasted 3. Most are vegeterian and all taste great. Chef Satar was very friendly and made us feel at ease.

Chef Satar is very talented. Only five dishes on the menu, I tried two, but I’m sure they are all well executed. Ask for the sambal hot sauce, homemade and very spicy. Located off the main road.

Easily my favorite place for food in Kuta! I've come here 5 times in the last 8 days. Firstly, the food is delicious! It's easy to tell Chef Satar is an actual chef. Secondly, the prices are amazing! 35K for nasi goreng + chicken. Thirdly, the atmosphere is wonderful! It's become a traveler hotspot and it's easy to meet people while you wait for your food. If you want to be in and out, come before 8:30pm. If you want to hang out and enjoy the Island vibe and meet other travelers, then come after 8:30pm.

First of all, don’t let the photos make you think that the restaurant looks run-down. Although this restaurant is not on the main road, it has a homely vibe to it. The food is absolutely delicious, and the owner is very kind, attentive and happy. There are just five items on the menu, but all are equally good (although the Thai curry deserves some extra praise!). 10/10 would recommend.

Incredible experience! The chef is lovely and very kind. The food is made with love, big quantities, good price and fresh produce! He moved recently to a bigger place, it's just 5 minutes away walking for the centre!!! We are leaving today, otherwise we would for sure repeat!

Chef Satar just recently moved to this location. He was so attentive and made a good ginger tea for my cough. Ayam taliwang was good and also for the mie goreng.
