Everyone was wonderful! I have a ton of "dental anxiety" and the entire staff worked hard to make my visit a positive experience... they succeeded! And Dr.Sheehan is a true professional but also very down to earth! I'm so glad I found them!

I'm not a patient here. I called and was greeted in a very friendly manner. This staff member was kind enough to explain a process that is effecting my own dental health. She explained the need for the care in receiving and exactly why most dentists and hygienists deem it necessary. She did she not need to give her time to me, but she did. I'm so grateful for the better explanation of care and her demeanor. Thank you so much.

I don't write reviews very often, but this place is a hidden gem! All the staff were so friendly, they make you feel welcomed, and the atmosphere is just warm! The technology and education of the staff had my jaw to the floor, you can truly tell they are passionate for their job and taking care of their clients, one of the best customer services I have every received. I learned a tremendous amount about not just my teeth but my overall health… its weird to say but I am excited to go back to the dentist.

The nurses that took care of me were awesome..the lady Dr. Who did my surgery was great. I woke up with absolutely no pain. Very nice and comfortable environment. Definitely would go back.

First time visiting today and all I can say is wow what a great Doctor and great staff. I've never had such a great experience as I did today. Staff is very friendly, Doctor took time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable with the care plan.

The office itself is an experience. Fun or beautiful decorations based on the season or time of the year. The office personnel, from the front desk, schedulers, financial department, to all of the technicians, hygienists, etc. are top notch and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Even giving out free hugs if needed/wanted. They use the latest and greatest equipment. I have NEVER had an exam like I had at Oakland Family. Dr. Sheehan is very efficient. She tells you what she is going to do and what the expected results will be. Then she does it. All of this does not come cheaply, but they will work with you on pricing. Their services are very thorough and the saying is true, you get what you pay for. Overall great experience for one of my least favorite doctors’ visits. I highly recommend their services.

I would give this office 10 stars if I could. The employees are incredibly kind and caring. I would like to especially point out Iva, as she was so wonderful and treated me like her own family. The office is very clean, has high tech equipment, and a FANTASTIC dentist. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. They even called to check on me afterward. I'm 71 yo and just moved into Waterford, MI a few months ago. My wife and I were fortunate to pick Dr. Sheehan and Oakland Family Dental as our provider. I have some gum issues that have been going on for years. I finally feel that these issues are going to be adequately addressed. The technology they possess is the most comprehensive and up to date that I've ever experienced. More importantly, the staff are incredible - friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. We feel lucky to have them as part of our overall healthcare team.

It was a good experience. The staff and Doctor were very thorough. There is only one thing I have a problem with The Doctor didn't prescribe antibiotic for my infected tooth area. However, I respect her reasoning, but still uncomfortable not getting a antibiotic.

I am deathly afraid of the dentist , all the ladies were amazing here, they made me feel very welcome along with dealing with my emotions and anxiety.. definitely a great place and will continue to get my business

Dr Komendera made my new dentures and did a super job they look natural and i have a bright smile again. He is the best dentist as he takes his time and makes sure you are comfortable and happy with the work he has done. I highly recommend him and his staff as well. Great job

Never in my life have I ever actually wanted to return to a dentist until I met the wonderful hygienists and Dr. Sheehan at Oakland Family Dental. They made me feel so comfortable and treated me with so much kindness. I left feeling happy knowing they took such good care of me. Everyone I came into contact with was very compassionate and helpful. I'm very glad I discovered them.

Was referred by my sleep doctor to see this dentist. She is the best by far! She explained everything to me. Showed me all of my problems with pictures, answered all of my questions and spent her time with me. Not rushed at all. She is very knowledgeable. Also seems to be up to date on equipment to see the problems. All her staff is very friendly and office is decorated beautiful!!

I don’t know why my reviews aren’t sticking. But I was very uncomfortable with both the doctors and hygienist. The hygienist was short, curt and rude. Made a snarky comment about me up keeping my deep clean as if I don’t brush my teeth. It was very uncomfortable and very quick. Like she barely looked at my teeth. The actual dentist claimed three cavities but I literally just went to the dentist and had fillings and only changed to this dentistry to get a cleaning because my doctor was scheduling way too far out. It’s ridiculous. I’ll allow the fill-ins however after these procedures I will not be back….. I don’t trust them and they are rude. The front desk people were rude as well and they were supposed to return monies and I have yet to receive it

Dr. Sheehan and her staff are amazingly efficient! All working together like a seemlessly trained family of professionals! Everyone made Sure I was comfortable and well informed throughout my treatment! I received an implant that was a perfect fit, color-matched, and painless!! I recommend Dr. Sheehan for ALL of your dental needs!!
