    The absolute worse Popeyes I ever had in my life!! Chicken was under cooked. Service was awful as always. Half the staff was outside the restaurant taking a smoke break. And I ordered 3 piece white meat, but they gave me a thigh instead of a breast. And it's super expensive now. $10 minimum for any dinner or meal. And not to mention you're going to wait at least 20 minutes in the drive thru. They won't get another dime of my money. And from the looks of things, this location will be closed realllllly soon. They're barely hanging on.

    Closing is at last piece of chicken sold... In line by 8pm, three cars in front of me. Noticed the cars each sit at the speaker for 15 minutes each then pull up to the window then pull right off. Finally my turn at 8:45pm and I went to the window because no one said anything at the speaker. The guy came to the window and said they are "close". Online it listed them close at 9pm and on the building it listed them close at 10pm. After talking to the guy he said they fried the last chicken at 8pm and they start closing when the last car brought the last piece of chicken. Unless they only had ten pieces of chicken left this don't add up and I been in line for an hour. If you close turn off the lights, tell the cars at the speaker that and change the time on the building and the internet........just saying. Closing is when the last piece of chicken is sold....never heard of that closing time before.

    Continuously disappointed in the service so after my recent visit within the past 2 hours it’s time to give a review. This is the 3rd visit in a row over the past 2 months that that have had no spicy wings to fill a 5 piece combo meal. They said they only had 2 spicy pieces, so I agreed to let them fill the order with 3 additional mild wings. The side order was for red beans and rice and a biscuit. When i arrived home, I had no spicy wings, no biscuit, and french fries instead of red beans and rice. Since I live 20 minutes away I did not return. Since I have had continuous issues, and reading other reviews as well, I can only conclude that this location is seriously poorly managed. Where is regional management and oversight? Come on people, have some pride in your job and responsibilities! My wife’s order was correct except the chicken tenders were so thin they looked like fish instead of chicken. The price was seriously overpriced at $31.35 for 2 combo meals.

    Friendly staff and I didn’t have to wait long for dine in. Tried out the spicy chicken sandwich for the first time and it definitely lived up to the hype.

    It is really sad and unbelievable that the service at this place continuously gets worse. Doesn’t matter how much we like Popeyes food if we can’t ever get it or the orders are always incorrect. Today I did a mobile order an hour before I knew I would get there. But I picked ASAP 15 to 20 minutes to ensure that the order would be ready. I like two or three other customers were told to wait on the other side of the building and the orders will be brought to us. Well 45 minutes later none of us have our food. But we see people walking up ordering individual meals leaving by the dozen. Corporate really needs to do something about this restaurant. They take your money on the online ordering platform and then you can’t even get your food. Very very sad operation indeed.

    Service was awful. Ordered 11 piece, 2 large sides, 5 biscuit meal. With 2 other sides and strawberry cheese cake. When we got to the window to pickup order we were at window for over 30 minutes. The 2 large sides were the 2 small extra sides we ordered and box for chicken could not possible hold 11 pieces and said it was not our order. When we thought order was correct and we left the 11 pieces of chicken was 8.

    We are inside. The cashier was the rudest person I have run into in a while. She was openly complaining about working and kept threatening to leave. She moved very slowly and was complaining to us about ordering food. The manager was sitting right there and just kept telling her that she loved him. It was weird. Food was good except the fries were cold.

    Third time in a row they completely gave me the wrong food. I don't know if I'll ever go back. Plus you have to go inside. If you wait in the drive through around dinner time, you are definitely waiting more than 30 minutes for them to mess it up... On the flip side it's good chicken.

    The strawberry biscuit was dry and hard. And so was the other biscuit. The only thing that had flavored was the shrimp and the chicken sandwich. It was great. The mash potatoes were also good. This was a drive-thru order. Service was pretty quick. The wait was about 3 to 4 mins. I received a bunch of honey and no napkins.

    Tenders and biscuits were A+. We ended up throwing away the fries because it tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil; something was definitely off about them. The sandwich looked amazing but was flavorless. To be fair, we were there pretty late in the day, about 8pm or so......

    Went there TWICE! First impressions were terrible, They took 45 minutes in the Drive thru, with 2 people infront of us. Second time i went for mashed potatos and a mango smoothy, And i was charged 22 dollars, I asked the lady at the front counter 3 TIMES that its just mashed potatoes and a mango smoothy, she said "yep i got you" I recived an entire meal i did not want.

    The place was busy but the people worked there kept their cool. My service was very good. It was extremely cold in the dinning room. I think the AC has been left on by accident. Our chicken sandwiches were delicious!

    Do not go to any other Popeyes in Pontiac. I can't save you if you do .....that being said this one right here always have great service, new specials and delicious food. But when they come out with something new the drive through line will be wrapped around the corner so either head inside or prepare to wait. Enjoy

    I recently visited this location and was serviced by Judy. She was very friendly, thorough and made suggestions on current deals that saved us money. In addition to great food, friendly service, and a clean restaurant, The prices for a home cooked meal were right within our budget. I highly recommend this location and will be revisiting soon...

    Placed order online because the line in drive thru is always so long. Got there and they were not letting people come in to grab orders so had to wait in line at drive thru for an hour and they must have filled my order when initially ordered because everything was cold. Somethings were not in bag and none of the sides we did get were actually correct and either was the chicken. Since you can't go inside you are stuck with the order because there were 15 more cars in line and I wasn't gonna wait another hour. I'm not one to complain but when you spend $35 and wait and hour and nothing is correct that's a bit frustrating

    Chicken good. Attitudes of the workers suck. I ordered food online two hours before. I came through the drive through line which was long to pick up my food. They said I had to come inside. Once inside my order had not even begun to be prepared and I waited an additional 45 minutes. The cook stated "she just has to wait". I thought wow do you own Popeyes? Of course not. Poor customer service!

    The food was good. The only thing I did not like was that I had a taste for chicken wings and they did not have any and it was not even 1pm!! So, because I stood in the long drive thru line I had to order something completely different.

    Ordered a ten piece box for $19.99. It’s not on the menu, but I can’t eat biscuits, etc. The food was hot and delicious. The dining room needed some attention, but I found a clean spot to sit. Staff was friendly and helpful, if not boisterous.

    I used to go to the one by my previous home in oak park the service, and the food there was terrible. However I am in Waterford and this particular place was excellent. The workers were wonderful and friendly. I got exactly what I ordered, they took the order down *carefully* as not to miss anything, they were attentive and professional (and this was all in the drive through. Imagine what it must be like inside💜)

    Actually a Dasher and I waited half an hour to get 6 wings. Manager even forgot I even had an order and thought she gave it to someone else even after she parked me(also asked my order name 4 different times) if your memory is that bad maybe I can only imagine how often this location gets orders wrong. I also noticed that her staff was extremely stressed and frustrated and it was based off the manager not the customers. Will never eat here nor accept a order from here again. The employees however were very professional despite their incompetent manager.

    The worst Popeyes in the history of Popeyes. Except to wait no less than 20min in the drivethru—even outside of lunch/dinner time. Workers are nice enough but this place just simply doesn’t have its stuff together. You could have an entire sit-down meal before you got your food hear smh

    yesterday i ordered chicken from this popeyes and my husband got horrible food poisoning he was throwing up all night and day and couldn’t even go to work. so i called to let them know so they don’t serve other people raw chicken to get severely sick , i was very nice about it and the manager on the phone hung up on me after i told her my husband got sick!! this manager was working on 12/29/22 at 8 pm. she needs to be fired that was ridiculous, so unprofessional and rude!!! i will be calling corporate and complaining about her. not to mention i waited 45 minutes in the drive thru horrible horrible service and very rude employees.

    Beware!!! Unless you are ordering chicken do not go there in the evening! They will unabashedly serve you cold old inedible food that clearly has been sitting for hours and happily take your money. This store should ashamed of the food the put into the community. Disgusting

    Great food. Ordered on-line, for 11:50 pick up. The poor person working the counter was so busy. Finally I interrupted to inquire about my order. (I had already waited 10 minutes after my time). She had not even started it. Definitely needed some assistance.

    Drive thru was closed which was not a big deal. I think they do it because they want to focus on the dining room. Inside was clean and the staff was friendly. The 2 chicken sandwiches ingot were amazing. Way bigger than I expected and definitely better than any other chicken sandwich out there. This was my first time at a popeyes and will definitely be going back.

    Out on my route I'll stop in here for lunch. They have a large parking lot so I can get my tanker truck in to park. The staff is friendly and excellent customer service. The food is always good and prepared just right. I highly recommend this establishment.
