One of a kind, extravaganza shopping center in Taipei, Taiwan. It’s a place for high quality goods and merchandise. People come from all over the world to marvel at the sight and extraordinary, beautiful architectural design building, both inside and outside. You can see it in the details of the building.

Came here to shop and browse, but price is high so we ate instead. There are so many food choices at Taipei 101. You can come here and eat all types of food from so many ethnicities. The price is your typical American price. Tables are always occupied! I love that they have a hand washing area in the food court. So many high end stores in Taipei 101 and you don’t have to wait in line like in America. The stores are decorated to the nines. There’s also a supermarket to buy snacks and household items. Definitely not worth a visit

Tallest building in Taiwan! Inside mall and food court has high end stores and the variety of food at the food court is amazing. Just very to find a table! Lots to see inside. We didn't make it up the tower unfortunately, being with a tour guide, we are rushed to see everything. But, it is definitely a must do for places to visit in Taiwan.

Amazing Landmark of Taipei City. A must-visit place with High-end Retail shops, plenty of Restaurants & Dessert options throughout the Mall & Food court in the lower level. Connected to the 101 Observatory. Perfect place to celebrate New Year's from anywhere within the Taipei 101 area!

👍: -Just looking at it from ground makes you feel dizzy already, this is a mammoth of a building marvel. -The tall 101 is mainly a business building, but there is a shopping mall just beside it as well. There is also an underground food court that serves cheap and delicious food. 👎: -Nothing, loved it!

No matter what, when you in Taipei, there is no way to miss this baby. We went all the way up and paid the additional to visit the newly opened section. It was a nice place. And I have to say the Taiwanese really did a good job to decorate the viewing area and all those photo crafts are just such a good idea. It is a truly unique idea and I can tell everyone was enjoying it.

The Taipei 101 building is the tallest building in Taiwan. The elevator climbs from the 5th floor to the 89th floor in just 37 seconds. From the top, you get 360 degree views of the city.

Comparing to malls you can find in Singapore (the land of shopping malls) I think it’s a blend of marina bay sands and Orchard Ions in terms of its high end retails and scale. Visited on a Tuesday afternoon and all of the upstairs coffee shops are unapologetically packed. Do not despair if it happens to you as well. There are a few decent coffee shops to rest up in basement. Four stars because the dinning options aren’t as good as other high end shopping malls.

Been here many times. Love it when my son visited me and we went here together. My boss even treat us to lunch on 85F of Taipei 101😋💕. One of the best and probably my most memorable experience in Taiwan 👍 is the yearly New Year fireworks display at Taipei 101 which is exhilarating to say the least 🙂😉🎉🎊💥 especially for someone who's away from home for straight 3years at a time.

Welcome to visit Taiwan and travel in 101 Building. Christmas Day is coming soon, so there are many decorations surrounding here. You can stay here about 30 minutes and take a lot of pictures. It is good for you to memory and enjoy in your great time.

High end shops everywhere and it's indeed a feast for the eyes. They are big on decoration and I am amazed at how festive it is on Christmas both inside and out. If you have fear of heights and can't go to the observatory, your trip to Taipei 101 will not be wasted. You can go about the coffee shops and food shops and right now the activity area features a Christmas land complete with gingerbread man, christmas tree, and trinkets all around.

Taipei 101 is the tallest building in Taiwan and also the main attraction in Taipei City. The building itself looks huge, beautiful and lavish. There is also an observatory mall which is accessible to the public. You can either book online or go to level 5 to buy the tickets to go to the top. From the top, if the weather is good you can see the entire view of Taipei. Which is a very rare view from other places. You can also do shopping at downstairs of the building. There are plenty of food options available as well. A big food court and a supermarket.

Taipei 101, the iconic skyscraper that dominates the Taipei skyline, is a true marvel of engineering and a symbol of Taiwan's dynamic spirit. Having had the privilege of experiencing Taipei 101 firsthand, I am delighted to award it a well-deserved five-star rating. From the moment you lay eyes on Taipei 101, its sheer magnitude and elegance leave an indelible impression. Its unique architectural design, inspired by traditional Asian motifs and modern elements, sets it apart from other skyscrapers around the world. The gleaming glass exterior reflects the sky and surrounding cityscape, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle. Riding the high-speed elevator to the observation deck is an experience in itself. Within a matter of seconds, you are transported to a vantage point that offers panoramic views of Taipei and beyond. The breathtaking vistas from the top are nothing short of extraordinary. The bustling cityscape, the majestic mountains, and the vast expanse of the Taiwan Strait create a tapestry of beauty that stretches as far as the eye can see. Taipei 101 is not just a feat of engineering; it's also a hub of culture and entertainment. The multi-story mall at its base offers a plethora of shopping options, from high-end luxury brands to local boutiques. Exploring the mall is a delight, as it showcases the best of Taiwanese fashion, design, and cuisine. Indulge in a gastronomic journey, savoring local delicacies and international cuisines, or simply find a cozy corner to relax and people-watch. For those seeking a touch of tranquility amid the urban hustle, Taipei 101's adjacent park provides a serene oasis. Take a leisurely stroll through lush greenery, enjoy a picnic on the lawns, or simply sit and marvel at the tower's graceful presence. The park offers a welcome respite from the city's fast pace, allowing you to unwind and soak in the peaceful ambiance. Taipei 101's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility is commendable. The tower's design incorporates numerous eco-friendly features, including rainwater recycling, natural lighting, and energy-efficient systems. Learning about these initiatives adds another layer of appreciation for this architectural marvel. The staff at Taipei 101 are courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure a memorable visit for every guest. From the moment you enter the building, you are greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality further enhance the overall experience, leaving you with a positive and lasting impression. In conclusion, Taipei 101 is a must-visit attraction for anyone exploring Taipei. Its towering presence, stunning views, cultural offerings, and commitment to sustainability make it a five-star destination. Prepare to be awestruck, inspired, and captivated by this architectural gem that embodies Taiwan's innovative spirit. Taipei 101 stands as a testament to human achievement and remains a cherished symbol of Taipei's vibrant and modern identity.

My favorite place in the whole of Taipei. Every time I'm in the city, always look up at the top of the building. It is like a lighthouse of the city. Beautiful design and architecture from inside and outside as well. There is a great connection between the MRT with the rest of the city and also everywhere around that public sharing bikes. Happy to see it again🤩 Taiwan number one💪💪💪

The most iconic architecture of Taiwan, the best place to watch the beauty of Taiwan landscape in the day and evening. You have to spend a few bucks to see the landscape views from the observatory deck and you can book tickets online and offline. Tickets are affordable during weekdays but there is little high in price during weekends. It has many good restaurants and a cafeteria which offers delicious food and drinks. It is home to luxurious brands ranging from garments, cosmetics, sports, gadgets, jewelry, and many more that can be added. It is well connected to Taipei Metro and it has its Metro station. Surrounding the tower itself had energetic vibes. Recommended place to experience vibes of Taiwan 🇹🇼

Taipei 101 is a supertall skyscraper located in the Xinyi District of Taipei, Taiwan. Designed to resemble an enormous bamboo  stalk, it has a height of 508 m and comprises 101 storeys above ground and 5 level below ground. A mall is mall is present at the base, and visitors can shop after visiting the tower. Upscale shopping as well as a supermarket are all part of the excitement. Built to withstand earthquakes and typhoons, the architectural marvel of Taipei 101 Tower will make your visit to Taipei a truly memorable experience. It was originally known as the Taipei International Financial Center. Fast moving elevators whisk the tenants to their floors, as well as visitors to the observation deck on the 89th floor in 37 seconds. It is considered the second fastest elevator in the world and is a must-do on any traveler's list. You will enjoy a trip up on the high speed elevator at 55 feet per second and the marvelous views of Taipei; then dine at the highest restaurant in the country, Ding Xian 101. Reservations should be made to secure a table. On the 35th floor, Elly's Flower Cafe is found and is known for their marvelous coffee and tea as well as western style lunches and dinners. Visitors should call to reserve their table . Two more unique restaurants can be found on the 85th floor. On it's completion  in 2004, it was the world’s tallest building , beating the PETRONAS Twin Towers of Malaysia,  before losing the title  in 2010 to the Burj Khalifa  in Dubai. It was also the first building in the world to break the half- kilometre mark. It includes indoor and outdoor observation decks which offer 360-degree views of the city and are popular tourist attractions. In 2011, it was awarded the LEED platinum certification, the highest award according to the LEED rating system, making it the world’s tallest green building. As an icon of Taiwan, the building's design is rich in symbolism. The number 101 represents January 1, and as such it has become a central feature of the country's New Year celebrations. Located in the heart of the city, the Tower is surrounded by department stores, a theater, businesses and a skywalk. The area is a short walk from the MRT station of City Hall on the Blue Line. On foot, it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes from the station; Taipei 101 Tower is located on Hsinyi Road. The price of general admission to the indoor observation deck is NT$350. Children below the height of 100cm are admitted free. Concession tickets are $320. If you are interested in accessing the outdoor observation deck, that is an additional NT$100 and is a separate ticket. One must purchase the indoor observation deck ticket as well as outdoor deck if they wish to visit the outdoor deck. Both observation decks are open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m

The Taipei 101 (Chinese: 台北101; pinyin: Táiběi yī líng yī; stylized as TAIPEI 101),[1] formerly known as the Taipei World Financial Center, is a skyscraper designed by C.Y. Lee and C.P. Wang in Taipei, Taiwan. This building was officially classified as the world's tallest from its opening in 2004 until the 2009 completion of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE. Upon completion, it became the world’s first skyscraper to exceed a height of half-a-kilometre.

Nice place for just seeing the landscape of Taipei. However, the weather can create bad clouds that block the sceneries. Just to add, I experience the worst customer's services in the many skyscrapers viewing deck. Everything is served by a staff member and makes customers queue and create unhappiness. Moreover, there is a language barrier. Only Taiwanese Mandarin only. For a price of NT$600 per person, she should at least have quality staff to deal with the many multi nationals visiting this place.

The place houses many top luxury brands and is the place to visit if u fancy such high-end products. The food court located at B1 (if i recall correctly) has a rather international array of selections. A place to grab a bite without burning too big a hole in your pocket. Paid for the visitor pass n went to floor 89-91 for a stunning view of the taipei city. Most people would wait for sunset n night time to catch the magnificent sunset/night view. Best photo-taking place n timing. So, plan your timing wisely so that you dont have to wait too long for sunset. Google the sunset timing (around 5.30pm to 6pm).

Taipei 101 has always been on my list of things to see. I heard it has a phenomenal Mechanical damping mechanism and an engineering marvel built by human ingenuity. Well, it's a very big building for sure, but it's not as impressive in Asia, once you get to a certain height it's just "a very large" building. The place is full of teenagers using the Christmas decorations as a good opportunity for a photo shoot which is cool, the mall constantly invest in new ways to stay as an attraction. And indeed the decorations and lighting is very well put together. Conclusion, it's very cool however I wouldn't make the 1.5hour taxi ride(again) just to see it. Taiwan is full of cool things just around the corner and oozes with culture every in every direction; That is worth a trip, not a big concrete building

Pretty awesome place. I believe that this is the highest tower in Taipei. It's been raining non-stop since I arrived, otherwise I would pay to go up and take in a view of the city and surrounding areas from the top. But there's a nice, top notch mall next door, in fact there are a few in the shopping area and lots of great places to eat too. If you stay in this neighborhood, it will cost you a bit. Metro stops nearby and short, easy walk to Taipei 101 from there. I'm hoping the rain will stop during the next few days and skies clear up so I can get a look from the top before I leave. 😉😇

At Taipei 101, the mall offers a great shopping experience and a variety of worldwide luxury brands such as Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. In addition, there are also entertainments such as movie theaters, nightclubs, and fancy restaurants. A series of observation decks are available at Taipei 101 between levels 88 to 91. Due to foggy weather and was told not being able to see anything, I decided to skip the visit to the observation deck and did some shopping and food hunting instead. Do check out the huge food court with varieties of food outlets and highly advisable to avoid lunch and dinner time as it can be extremely crowded and difficult to find seats.
