Really a must do in the city and one of the most amazing experiences you will get in town. I believe the market has so much to offer from food and many other things During the day or night, the place is filled with people and is a pretty much authentic and traditional place. Highly recommended

Great Night Market. Don't bother with Shilin or Raohe Street which are just tourist traps, head a little out of Taipei to this lovely, traditional market with authentic food. It's easy to get to with public transport and you get to visit a seaside port too.

Great night Market thats full of life and energy. lots of food. You can also find lots of seafood. The night market is very easy to find. A number of the shops are labeled in both English and Chinese. I recommend that you visit this night market.

Really vibrant and full of stores that are numbered, making it easy to find recommended stores provided by some bloggers/youtubers. We went on the 2 nights we stayed here - the first night was raining heavily due to the typhoon so we were lucky to be able to visit without many people. The next day was packed and people were not social distancing so we felt uncomfortable staying there too long. Some feedback on the popular items: - 一口吃sausages were only 7NT each but they had lots of chewy bits in it and we didn't really like it. - the peanut bingsu is really good, packed with it In the cups and only 50NT each - the crab soup was good, but not out of this world. 70NT for that with real crab meat pieces - springroll is recommended. The skin is freshly made on the Spot and only costs 40NT each. - the famous sandwiches is good at 75NT for the signature fried pork cutlet with ham. However also not out of this world, I think it's a long lineup mainly because it's just high CP. Overall great market with lots of food to choose from. We just didn't want to stay on for too long the 2nd night as it was getting more packed as we decided to leave.

it's close from my hotel where I'm staying. many choices of foods. not too crowded when i visit there. only 4 stars because i bought a small cup of drinks and i paid 110 NT . normally the price of drinks is just like 50-70 NT.

As most night markets in Taipei had turned sour, this night market remained mostly true to its original character, with many old and time tested food stands of authentic local tastes. Patronize these real local shop keepers, before they are threatened/destroyed by real-estate developers and powerful interests.

Keelung Night Market is a hidden treasure, food heaven for local street food. The night market is located about 20mins walk from the train station.

It was not easy for me to find a food which I'd like to try.. I saw too many pork-based food. But for people who likes pork, it's like a lil heaven 😸 So I just tried a dessert, then I went to Ren'ai market nearby, where I could find some food which I could enjoy 😁

Taiwanese street food is an acquired taste and you may hesitate to try the food if you are a tourist. Don’t be deceived by the dingy stalls or messy lay out. If you find something that is similar back home, you are going to find the taste of the foods here absolutely delicious and utterly cheap. My favorite is the Crab 🦀 Soup which sells for only 75 NTD (US$ 2.40) per bowl. It is filled with fat succulent crab meat, flavorful mushrooms and a thick gooey soup which tastes just as good as a 5 Star Hotel shark fin soup. Go try a bowl if you love seafood 🦞 and fresh crabs. You cannot get it at this price at most places in the world. Mind you, it is fresh crab 🦀

This is the biggest and most famous Night Market in Taiwan known for authentic traditional local street food. Prices are reasonable and is usually crowded. The walk to cover all will be around 1km. From Taipei it is good to visit Keelung City leaving around 3pm taking the train around 45 min. On arrival, can walk around the harbour and surrounding places till 6pm to tour and sample the food at the night market for up to 2 hours and then head back to Taipei.

Lots of food choices according to your liking. A must-try is one particular food cart that sells stinky tofu. Dining tables are avaible.

A day and night market really, considering how many stalls were open in the early afternoon whenever we visited. It’s a street food market I’ve been visiting with my family since early childhood. It’s not changed compared to two decades ago, albeit slightly cleaner and less crowded, as they’ve banned vendors from piling up in the middle of the walkway. The traditional way of eating right off the vendor’s kitchen table was something worthwhile experiencing while in Taiwan. You feel thrust amongst the chaos, a mixture of smells and the approachable (albeit sometimes overly friendly) people around you. And even if you are not interested in trying any of the foods, just taking a stroll can make you feel like walking on a film set.

One of the very crowded night markets in town. Luckily the government has made it easier to locate various food stores by adding signs above shops. Food were all made upon ordering and the atmosphere is the best. Game stores are also available for you to win either dolls or sausages as you wish lol

This is a place you need to pay a visit to enjoy the fabulous, amazing foods at least once in your whole lifetime. World class food texture of the local foods makes people keep coming back to the place. Before they return, they might fast one meal to leave stomach space for the foods.

Overrated night market, short 20min walk from Keelung train station. Most of the food here can be found at other famous night markets in Taipei, there’s not much specialty or flavour which plays a differentiating role. Perhaps the more popular items are the sandwiches. Nutritious sandwich or fried pork cutlet sandwich, they are just plain bread wrapped with tomato and cucumber with loads of mayonnaise, nothing spectacular.

It was awesome. I love it so much. Recently its not that overcrowded and we had great time together with My Daughter Varvara. And We had great wonderful Hamaguri soup and shrimp just at the seafood restaurant which Anthony Bourdain with his Layover visited back in 2013. Just were sitting at them same table. Cool.

Nice place to have a mid night snack or dinner, you can find nice food and drinks even some ice. The price for seafood are about average and the taste is good. You can arrive to this night market by train or bus. The train stop will be Sankeng station, there will be a pathway leading towards the night market place. Highly recommend going to this place.

Keelung Miaokou night Market is a sightseeing night market centered on Dianji Palace on Rensan Road. It is about 500 meters long and has more than 300 food stalls. It is also one of the most famous night markets in Taiwan! There are many delicacies hidden around Miaokou that only locals know about. Keelung Miaokou Night Market is located at No. 20, Aisi Road, Renai District, Keelung City. It is very convenient whether you drive there or take public transportation! After visiting Keelung Miaokou Night Market, you can go to Keelung Habour to have a sit and rest until late and visit the midnight Keelung Fish Market.

Nice vibe nightmarket. Didn't shop, just ate. Don't fall for the fake Keelung Nutritious sandwich at the entrance. Find the one halfway down from the entrance and take a number because there is usually quite a wait. I thought the sandwich was really good, hope you enjoy! I also got the guava pineapple drink a few stalls down.

One of the best night markets I've been to here! It's huge and has so many food selections. Lively, lots of shopping stalls and lots of carnival games. Most of the signs have English on them so great for tourists. One notable stall is no. 39 PaoPao Bing. We got the passion fruit and it was so soft and flavourful. My friend has the oyster omlete as well, and reported that the seafood was very fresh.

Nice and clean night market. There's rubbish bins at almost every stall along the pavement. Basically no litter on the ground when I was there. Pavement at this night market is big and comfortable to walk around. The local temple even allows patrons to use their restrooms (left side of the temple after you enter the main temple hall).

I say this without any sarcasm - this “Nutritious Sandwich” is one of the best things I have ever eaten. Fried bread, cut open and stuffed with vegetables and some marinated egg, smothered with sweet mayo. Do. Not. Miss this.

Amazing and authentic night market. Highly recommend the soups like 螃蟹羹 (Crab soup) and 紅燒鰻魚羹 (Eel soup) which cannot be found in other areas like Taipei. Affordable prices and friendly store owners make it a must visit night market.

Wonderful Night market for an array of street food. Knowing that Anthony Bourdain went to have food there makes it even more special. THE ONE BITE SAUSAGE IS EVERYTHING 🥹

There were many people, but there's a lot of good food! I would recommend to come down here after going around Jiufen, but make sure to have some space in your stomach! Recommend all the soupy food (螃蟹羹 crab soup,红烧鳗羹 unagi soup),润饼/卷饼~

Very nice night market that have the vibes of night scene. All the paddlers are busy serving to patrons that came from around the world. As I was walking, I have hear different languages spoken. The food are definitely great and they do sell in small portion that is the most suitable for shop hopping and munching away the outstanding variety of food. There is only one down point and that is, the yellow lantern on top of the shops only operate on weekend. Is kind of a let down as we are nor able to take the well know lantern of kee Lung night market. Food definitely are top notch.

It is located near Keelung Railway Station and Keelung Port. The night market is crowded from lunchtime with many people who are overshadowed by the Covid 19. I had some Taiwanese sundae and a part of pig's heart (滷心連) for lunch, and grilled squid as a dessert. The squid has a very attractive and spicy sauce. Even seafood was full, but I just did window shopping.
