This place used to be an alcohol factory. Now it houses mostly local retailers, F&Bs, and art scenes. I enjoyed my visit here. I found unique Taiwanese local arts and crafts; bought some of them too. When I was here (22nd Dec 2022), many of the shops were still under renovation/construction. So there weren't many shops to pop in. I spent about two hours strolling the compound including lunch.

Quite a nice place to visit, with its converted warehouses and buildings. There are many pubs, restaurants and cafes here, in addition to the eclectic mix of shops featuring clothes, souvenirs and artisanal products like soaps, perfumes and bakeries. There are also a few galleries. Do keep an eye out for a ginger cat that likes to sun itself on the upper ledges. Also have some coffee and cheesecake at the Spot Lumiere cafe.

A tightly connected set of shops, cafes, art galleries, and event spaces with some fun, neat, artistic things to buy, and a number of cool places to explore. Definitely recommend visiting and spending a bit time walking through the stores.

⏰Visit: We visited it at 11:30am-3pm on a Sunday. There were already many visitors, but due to the spacious area, it still felt very comfortable and not too packed. 🌿Environment: The space is very trendy, aesthetic and comfortable, with a lot of greenery, benches, and clean toilets. There is a nice balance between indoor and outdoor spaces. 📸What to do: There were many tents on a grassy area for a food fair when we went. There are also many permanent shops selling interesting trinkets for a mostly reasonable price. I also especially love the many busking performances going on. 🍰Food: There are many nice cafés and some restaurants inside the park itself, most with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ate lunch at 12nn and only had to wait for 10 mins. 🧳Location: It is quite close (~30 min train ride) from other locations like the Taipei Main Station, Taipei 101 Tower, Eslite Malls, Zhongshan Park etc., so you can easily fit it into your travel schedule. Overall, a very nice space to wander and eat in for 3-4 hours. I would definitely recommend visiting it on a weekend as the atmosphere and busking performances are for sure the highlight.

Spacious space with a lot of activities to do: restaurant, cafe, exhibition and cute themed shops. The shops are on the pricey side but they look unique and beautiful. I spent like a spendthrift here :)) be aware of your purchase if you are on a budget

Had an amazing time at Huashan 1914 Creative Park last Saturday! The abundance of free activities, like the community dance event, added a lively touch, making learning to dance an absolute blast. The Pocky 1111 event and Godiva chocolate activities were delightful, offering not just treats but interactive quizzes for a chance to win. The variety of theme shops, from anime-perfume to science-intelligent products, catered to diverse interests, creating an immersive experience. Impressive dancing skills and humorous etiquette brought an extra layer of entertainment to the event. It was heartwarming to see people of all ages, along with pets, in great outfits, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere. In my book, Huashan 1914 Creative Park deserves a solid 10/10 for providing a rich cultural experience that fosters a sense of connection to Taipei society. Can't wait for the next visit!

A very historical atmosphere around this area. You can relax yourself with your family or friends on weekend or holidays here. People can walk around to take a look at some exhibition or enjoy meals, drinks or snack in different kinds of restaurants here. Stop by and have fun here.

Nice architectures around. Better than Songshan creative park. But still very touristy. If you are choosing between Songshan and Huashan, come to this. There’s a skate board park nearby too. A lot of tourist. The cafe at the entrance is a good spot for IG pics. Normal. But not worth to travel all the way here just for this.

Great pasture, some good exhibits. Great to bring the kids for outdoor activities or picnics. Or you can hike further too. You can bring a kite, blow bubbles, or just enjoy the vast area and park as much as you want. Of course you can invite all your friends to play rugby or football!

I have been to the creative park a few times. It’s always a good place to escape the rush of the city. I like to sit down in a café and read some magazines. Take your time and try to find out where the secret spots are and which part of that area you like the most. Don’t go here if you are in a rush. Take your time and enjoy your time you spend here.

Gorgeous day on January 3, 2021. Tons of people were there. I focused on the old buildings, not so much on all the stories and merchandises. Looking at the buildings from different angles plus the surrounding views. The nearby grassland and play structures had lots of children, parents, and young folks picnicking, playing, and blowing soap bubbles. Taiwan has done a great job controlling the Covid, folks are really lucky here..

Well, at one point, I enjoy at here, and bought a few souvenirs for my bffs, kinda nice atmosphere and so nature, but not my type, so nah. And hey, when its almost half an hour, I'm bored there, nothing much we can do else than taking picts and shopping, um maybe just take a stroll. 😬

This factory-turned-art-park has really cool exhibits that are updated annually. I was lucky to catch the Kapibarasan and Sumikko Gurashi exhibit that sold merch and cute stuffed dolls. There are also plenty of stalls that sell both functional and aesthetic artisanal crafts ranging from candles and tote bags to sweet bean curd 豆花 and other merch. You can also grab a cold beer and chill with friends at a few of the bars in the area. It's also walking distance from Syntrend (a multistory mall dedicated to tech and anime - there's an Anime cafe!). Check Huashan out anytime you're looking for an artsy place to chill and take pics or buy souvenirs.

We went to see「Hello Ouchhh」. They offer English narratives for those who can’t read Chinese. The ticket price was a bit pricy (NT$380 per person), though. Please note that taking pictures is allowed, but the flash lamp is prohibited.

Nice place to visit if you want to just stroll around or look for artsy crafts. There are many nice cafes inside (which I didn't try, but looking from outside is already satisfying!) as well as shops selling cool stuff. Rotating exhibitions are also held here in the halls. I got nice souvenirs. They could be kinda pricey, but it's worth it!

Very cool, interesting historic site that's great for strolling around, shopping, hanging out, or having a meal. Lots of dining opportunities, some with outdoor seating, and great for people watching. Tons of interesting shops selling interesting gifts, decorative items, handicrafts, toys, and things that defy description. It's really a fun place to visit, and very popular. Good for families, teens, kids, almost anyone, and dog friendly as well. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Looked like old warehouses that were converted to a place for artist and budding entrepreneurs to sell their crafts and wares. It was a weekend and there were alot of people with some festivals happening. Good place to walk around and shop for some hand-made items.

So much to love about this place! Less complicated than Song Shan and much easier to navigate around. A lovely space to spend the afternoon browsing around the craft markets and cafes. There are also some free exhibits - they are currently showing the Dior fragrance one.

Always has amazing pop culture pop-up shops and exhibitions (TV shows, movies, anime, large IPs, etc.). Good place to walk around and is close in proximity to other places that younger people would be interested in, such as Syntrend.

All exhibitions need entrance fee which is not that cheap. Took couple of minutes to find the exact location of the exhibition. However, It is a good place for family gathering where children can run around freely with the big open field. Also a place for friends to meet up and enjoy the free space.

The creative park has rich heritage, started off as a wine and sake factory in 1914 it went through multiple incarnations and have seen some dark days. The buildings themselves are interesting architecturally, they now take on different functions as theatres, exhibition spaces as well as retail shops and restaurants. Interesting place just to roam around, and on weekends and when weather permits there are street performers, and plenty of IG loving hipsters.

I heard great things about this creative arts district. However, I found it a bit disappointing. It's basically a collection of art galleries and the exhibitions can be really hit or miss. Also, mostly exhibitions cost money to enter. So, the cost of your visit can add up pretty quickly. There are some cute shops around. However, there are cute shops all over Taipei. So, no need to really come here just for shopping and cafes. This area is fun to just walk around if you have little kids though. They can run around and not be worried about cars or traffic.

Pretty cool place to walk around and just see the different shops and exhibits. The shops were mostly closed when I was there; not sure if it was because it was in the morning or some other reason. There were some exhibitions showing, but they cost extra, so we just walked around. It's a nice green space to just stroll about, but other than that, there's not much else to do. Note: Visited prior to COVID, so things may be different.

A place where the govt fuxked up with transportation facilities, no parking in and around 2 kms. No proper planning 😕 for a tourism spot. Regarding to the park, it's filled with a lot of mini stores which sells mostly Taiwanese and japense traditional products. There are some interesting cafes and ice cream shops there which is really pleasant to sit and chat and tasty to eat different unique products. There are also some specialized stores like Plum store, jappense antique store, karate store and many more. Happy vacation guys Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊

I heard that there are some performances and shows, but there were not many as I expected. I think this place is good to go with boyfriend or girlfriend. Or it's good to go with babies. There were not many things to see for me. It takes me and my friends like 10 minutes to see all around. There is Kakao friends shop, stages, theater and little shops. If you like one of those, it's good to go.

Pretty cool and chill place where all local artists or sellers gather. Prices are definitely more expensive of course, since items are more unique. There's small wine shop which I recommend, where they sell local made wines like strawberry wines or plum rice wines. Quite cheap and delicious! Good for souvenirs! And u can taste them before you get them

An interesting complex in downtown Taipei. Renovated from an old brewery, this ground has been turned into a cultural park. It is home to small shops of hand made souvenir items, cafes and restaurants, art or theme exhibitions, a cinema for art house films, as well as venues for musical and street performances. Loved the small book shop on the 2nd floor, cozy and relaxing--great for browsing, reading, or enjoying a cup of coffee.

It's really beautiful here, and you can spot some movie posters of old time! There's an art cinema too. So much open space. It's mesmerising somehow that an old brewery is now turned into this rich culture and creative park. There's also a bar, I didn't try - no time.. but it looks so professional and refreshing. Next time, maybe. On the way to this park, I stopped by Jut Art Gallery, there's Julian Opie's art, named Taipei People walking in 2014. So great.

Shops are open late and no entry fee so it is a good place to chill when you want to fluctuate between indoors and outdoors with the tempermental rain. It is also a good place to wait in the breezy afternoon for friends who are meeting you near downtown Taipei but are still on public transportation...
