Lots of cool stores, galleries and coffee shops set in old buildings full of character. It's like walking in an open air museum with stuff you can actually buy. I loved it.

A street market to visit with traditional Taiwanese food and vendors. In the middle of the street, which is the temple kitchen they sell duck and Taiwanese dished with good price.

A succulent Chinese meal. The entire street is basically the one restaurant. Pick up your plates at the temple in the middle and eat in one of the dining areas. Pay at the end.

The main food option is the duck restaurant that spanned across many shop fronts. The steamed duck is a little too hard for my liking, although it is quite tasty.

A bit more unique than other old streets. Lots of cool stores woth different items to buy. There's a great restaurant where you have to go get your own food from a central location to bring a block away to your table. Delicious ice cream sorbet cart and others. Would recommend.

A short old street with no highlights except the duck restaurant in front of the temple I admit their duck is good but the noodles are horrible

Small enough and not to crowded. We quite enjoyed our leisurely walk through this street. Lots of Taiwan delicacies to sample and buy. Mix of food, snacks and toy shops and knock knacks. There is a small park at the end behind the police station

There are many small stores to explore. I recommend anyone to come there to enter every shop you find interesting, you will be surprised by it.

Lots of variety of street eats and a unique food culture. Old street has many vendors on both sides with a huge swathe of visitors, locals and tourists alike. What I like the most here is the wider streets that is quite different than many of the "old street" areas around Taiwan, where the streets are very narrow. In addition to the regular street foods there is a "restaurant" that serves food. Patrons will pick up plates of food to bring across the people packed street to dine in the restaurant. Like I said earlier, a different food culture.

A small street bazaar in Jinshan that’s less touristy than Jiufen. If you are visiting the nearby Yehliu Geopark you can take bus 1815 and head over for some shopping. Stalls mostly selling local Taiwanese drinks and snacks such as ginger tea, sweet potato chips, pork jerky, sweet potato and taro balls dessert, peanut candy etc. You’ll only need an hour max here.

food in the temple mouth. the duck and bamboo are particularly “famous.” I particularly enjoyed the fried vegetables. busy atmosphere and the price adds up, but value for money.

Jinshan old street starts where you find a big temple. Once there, desserts shops with taro balls, ice creams, fruits and more are there. Also many food stalls are along the road with the main one (dick place) located 3 minutes walking from the temple. Personally the food there disappointed me (duck was tough and cold)

Typical so called “Old Street” many cities in Taiwan do have Old street but not necessary they have historically “Old”, while most of them are selling local snacks/food. Packed with locals during weekend and holidays

We went here at around 10:30am in Summer which maybe wasn’t the best idea. It was scorching hot with little shade and many of the stalls/shops weren’t open yet. Luckily there were some nice drink stalls. I highly recommend the refreshing lemon aiyu jelly drink and also the sweet potato snacks and desserts.
