This was my visit to ‘Shooters Arms’ and I was very impressed. It was quite a walk up to the pub but the views are stunning and on arrival, we were greeted by the landlord who took us to our table. He then arranged drinks for us and brought the menu and advised us of the specials. There was a variety of meals available for both adults and children. We ordered and the quality of the food was excellent. The lady who served us was polite and helpful and made us feel valued customers. There were 7 of us,3 adults and 4 children, with no complaints from anyone !....and 7 clean plates!. The food price is very competitive and there was a variety of ales and drinks at the bar. There are more details on their website of menu’s etc. I would highly recommend a visit to ‘Shooters Arms’ for quality meals, in a relaxed clean environment and a huge ‘thank you’ to the landlord and his staff, a great experience.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime with no table booked. The pub was busy and most tables were booked but one was found for us, albeit in the tap room. There was a good choice of meals, from the Sunday fixed price Menu, the standard menu and a Specials Menu. My husband and I both chose venison from the specials which was attractively presented with boulangerie potatoes, assorted veg, poached pear with walnut crust and a red wine jus. This was very well cooked. The service was good, the staff efficient and friendly and there is a good selection of beers. On a nice day you could sit outside and look at the great view. Would definitely recommend and will be back for another meal.

Myself and my partner visited for the first time this evening. Lovely location, with beautiful views. The pub itself, again was a lovely place and the food tasted terrific. The burger was so tasty. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.

Food sadly wasn't as good as expected. My husband had lamb Wellington which was a very small portion and not very nice, luckily he had a starter , but ended up with a pudding to fill up which he doesn't normally do... The puddings were very nice, they redeemed the evening... I had a steak which had quite a lot of gristle in it.. There was a not very good singer on who was quite loud... we left quicker than we usually do..

Great pub with lovely views. Food was excellent and decently priced. Service was top notch and very attentive. Friendly staff. Plus doggy friendly. Will definitely call again.

Had some decent meals in the past but latest Sunday roast was a disaster. The roast beef was sinewy and fatty, each of the 3 slices. Gravy lumpy. When waitress informed didn't seem interested. To add insult to injury we were over charged by £50, when we challanged it they said they we had damaged a table that would cost £200 to repair - a small scratch. Won't be rushing back there.

Our first visit and we’ll definitely be back. We received a warm welcome on arrival; the menu had plenty of choice; the food was delicious and piping hot; and the service was excellent 👍

Great food at a really good price 👌 couldn't fault it . We had the three courses for £25 every course was spot on and good portions first visit but definitely not my last .

Myself and my wife dined there for the first time on Friday and I have to say it was well worth it. Friendly welcome, good beer and a good choice of dishes on the menu. The food was excellent, deviled kidneys to start then feathered beef special, my wife had chicken tagine. All dishes were delicious. We will definitely be going back. Keep up the good work guys, and compliments to the chefs.

An absolute beautiful pub. My last and only visit was in June 2018, but I still can't stop thinking about it. Can't wait to be back one day.

Amazing pub which gets better every time! I've been here a few times and the menu is always creative and delicious, it's very reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly. Add to that the beautiful location and views and it's well worth the trip up.

The salt & pepper wings are lush. Steak pie is class. Landlord & Landlady are amazing people. The only pub in the area worth visiting. They even accommodate camper vans in the car-park!!!

Just been here with my wife and step son. It was quite on a Monday so only a 4 star for the atmosphere. We had not booked but we're shown straight to a table. Landlord was over right away with the drinks order and menus. All the food from starters to desserts were proper, home cooked locally sourced and great tasting. The views from the outside over the Pendle Valley are a joy to behold and must be seen.
