👍👍 What to say about a place to begin the Dales Way journey through quintessential Yorkshire...a three arch stone bridge across the beautiful River Wharfe with two pubs within a couple of hundred yards. Warning: you may never start the walk!

We first reached this point after completing the Dalesway Link from Bradford to Ilkley. Then we had to move a wheelbarrow to get to the bench. A few weeks later we walked the Dales Way, though this time it was easy access to the bench! The Dales Way is a decent 80ish mile route and well worth walking.

Not as ostentatious as other trail start points. But it's probably a welcome seat if you are finishing.
