Been coming here since August, and it's the best thing I ever did. The gym is well equipped with plenty of equipment. Cardio machines, pin machines, plate loading machines, free weights and lots more. It has saunas in both the mens & woman's changing rooms, showers and lockers, The gym is over 2 floors and has a studio too, It has a variety of classes on every morning dinner time and on an evening which are all included in your membership. I was frightened to death starting a gym again after 2 babies but I had nothing to be scared of, everyone is so friendly, and it feels like family now. My little gym family. Best gym around.

Sam Hogg, one the PTs is really friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as she showed me around the gym, which is a key reason why I chose Primal Edge over other gyms. It is great the gym is open all the time and it has a very relaxed and friendly feel to the place. I had never had a PT before, so I was very nervous. However, Sam Hogg has made me feel comfortable and she pitches the sessions to be challenging but still enjoyable and realistic. She is always so upbeat and positive which is a real benefit and inspiring. I recommend Sam as a PT, especially to anyone like me who was nervous about going to a gym and starting to do strength training. She is easy to contact and responds quickly too.

Everything you need in a gym, first time their today after changing memberships from another gym. It's clean, well maintained and the variety of equipment is almost endless! Highly recommended for such a small monthly fee too. Soon to be a 24 hour gym too. Most important thing, everyone racks their weights back 👌🏻

Edit.. I've been coming here,several times, every week for 18 month s now and it literally is the BEST gym... And the people inside who are working so hard make it a really motivating and positive place to be! The PT's are fantastic and are always willing to help you. Cannot recommend it enough if you want a well equipped, clean but most of all friendly and supportive gym. Great friendly place, really helpful and has great facilities for women as well as men 👍

This gym is top-notch, featuring an abundance of Hammer Strength equipment, some of the finest I've ever used and with a touch of Panatta for good measure. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. It's consistently clean and well-organized, no abandoned equipment in sight. 5/5 for me!

Gym is great overall. There is tonnes of equipment and lots of additional weight. It's also new so it's never really busy at the moment. Staff are really knowledgeable as well. This gym is definitely geared towards body builders and power lifters but also a great start for newbies.

This gym has an array of quality equipment & multiple spaces for different types of training such as body-building, Strength & conditioning & even strong man. It has a great atmosphere too! everybody's really friendly & the staff know their stuff 💪😁

Great gym, staff made me feel welcome and safe in a friendly environment. Plenty of machines and space to workout in including an extra boxing and strongman area. Best gym in shipley no doubt 💪.

Great gym. Wanna see what they have to offer, check insta. Former getting new and upgraded equipment. PTs and staff have literally, changed my life and outlook on fitness, see them at the gym and feel like family now. Manned 6am-10am, changing rooms both with saunas and showers open those hours. You want a good old school gym, where you know everyone and the staff actually know what they are on about? It’s primal every time.

Brilliant gym, has every machine you can think of, even has a strong man area. Staff are always helpful and assertive. Best gym I’ve been to. Would highly recommend.

Was in Bradford for a wedding this weekend and used the facility for a day. Reasonable price for a day pass considering the gym is equipped with some excellent equipment, very friendly atmosphere and a service with a smile.

Top quality machines, loads of free weights and friendly staff. Got everything I can ask for in a gym. Best one in the area by far

Didn’t thought i would find a true hardcore bodybuilding gym with ronnie and arnie’s mural on the wall..need not say more….perfectly equipped or i should say better equipped than all commercial gyms. Hammersmith stuff, 70kg dumbbells, iron plates. Owner is friendly guy, knows what is key equipment for training and didn’t charged me a fortune for the week i was in…bathrooms were clean….somehow lighting is perfect as well. This gym will be my memory for shipley!

I can’t recommend Primal Edge highly enough. All the staff are welcoming and really friendly. There’s a large range of machines and constant gym improvements. The gym is very reasonably priced, not overly busy and open 24/7.

joined this gym as it was close to me and haven't regretted it , nice staff and a multitude of equipment some I've not even seen before and it's been nice trying different equipment , I read one review that said the changing room door was open and left negative review , this happened to me once but I closed it wasn't a big deal and I'm still training here😊 great gym cheers guys

The gym is nothing like advertised, it's small, run down and in dire need of some TLC. The "changing room" are open constantly as are the shower cubicles so don't expect privacy. To top it off they don't answer phones and rob you!! Avoid at all cost!! Edit: as you can see from the reply home truths they don't like, ignoring the truth and lying they do. Just so you are aware I have been to plenty of gyms in my time and never had an issue at all, I'm currently at a fantastic one not far away that is more expensive as that isn't the issue. The issue is your gym is run down and needs repairing and pretending that isn't the case won't help, neither will your attitude.

Fab gym. Loads of plate loaded equipment, racks and pressing stuff. With some outdoor strongman bits too. Edit - they have added another floor of equipment, weights machines, cardio, spin and self serve classes and a great view too.

Really good gym, the best i've seen in the Shipley / Bradford area by a long way. I signed up when they opened as i was looking for higher quality equipment than what my old gym was providing. Not only was the gym already better equipped from the beginning, but Gary and the team are constantly looking to enhance the gym and add more equipment and grow the range of machines / facilities. At least 10 people i know are now using Primal Edge after i recomended it to them, a proper working mans gym where people go to get results.

Love this gym. Although reluctant to go initially as I viewed it as a 'mans' gym, my opinion changed as soon as I had a look round. The team are friendly and super helpful and the machines and equipment are really high quality. Following the most recent lockdown, the gym has expanded and there is now an upstairs studio section for classes as well as a full cardio area with (believe it or not) fantastic views across the valley :-)!! I would, and regularly do, recommend this gym to everyone and for everyone.
