We’ve eaten at The Old Bank a couple of times and when we got wind of this place opening, we were excited to try it. We love coming to this part of Norfolk, but sometimes it’s hard to find a quality breakfast/lunch experience that isn’t either typical seaside food or one of the many deli/farm shop experiences that now feature every couple of miles. This place should definitely be on your list of eateries to visit. If you’re passing and fancy a top quality coffee and cake or something more substantial such as salmon and eggs, or a Full English - you won’t be disappointed. We went twice in our 5 day stay and will make it our go to brunch joint here on in. Excellent service with friendly and welcoming staff. We could not fault it. You should all be very proud of this venture, it’s a class act.

A farmhouse bistro nestled in the village of Snettisham. Sourdough specialists made on site which you can view. Selection of delicious sandwiches and cakes. Friendly staff prompt on ordering and serving. Dogs welcome. Food looks nice although I didn't eat, however the coffee that i had was delicious. Farmhouse/industrial decor. Very clean. Very popular and busy. Reasonably priced due to location which was expected.

This is a fabulous place for all day breakfasts and lunch. The food is absolutely top notch. The smoked salmon comes from a smokers a few miles away and the bread is freshly baked on the premises. The smoothies are all slightly unusual and delicious. The service is super friendly and the restaurant is dog friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

I love to go here.. Norfolk needed a place like this.. The idea of a brunch with fresh juices and nice coffee is top top.. You don't need to book which for me it's great. I have been able to always get a table but sometimes you may need to wait, but the wait will be worth it. They do the best eggs Royal. The muffins are absolutely amazing.. Top quality ingredients and even busy, the staff are great. They are dog friendly too.

*dog friendly* If I could give this 10 stars I would. The food was exceptional. The hash browns are a MUST! Freshly baked bread every morning. The pastries look amazing. Fantastic service - knowledgeable and attentive. SO good, we're going back tomorrow. Brilliant way to end our holiday.

The old store is a small place with a mighty punch. You will find yourself stood outside pretty much every visit waiting for a seat but believe mewhen I say, it is so worth the wait!! Chris, one of the chefs is a Norfolk award winning cheff and the proof is in the produce. The team make and prepare there menu from scratch in house with a small but varied menu that you just have to come back again and again just to try something else of the menu. The team work so tirelessly to make your visit the best it can be. I recommend you go with a healthy appetite and be ready to endulge. Worth every penny.

Loved the soup - total taste fest. It came with scrummy bread filled with a little melted cheese. We would have liked the Flat White coffees stronger and hotter. Decor and vibe are welcoming and the staff we encountered were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Our visit on a Friday in February at 1pm found the place busy, with every table taken. It was therefore a bit noisy and felt crowded. We were fortunate to capture the last two seats, along the window, on stools that felt low in relation to the table height. We would happily return to sample more of the menu. And we wish the team success with developing a really attractive product.

This is a great place to eat for breakfast and brunch, lunch is a little restricted with only a 1 type of sandwich, 1 type of toastie or soup to choose from but the quality of food is really good. They specialise in sourdough bread that is baked on site. The quaint location and decor inside is nice and welcoming along with ghe staff who are helpful in explaining options. There are lots of alternative drinks to tea and coffee also, smoothies, iced teas, slushies, milkshakes, etc. Most fruit flavoured drinks made on site also. We spent over £40 on a sandwich, poached eggs on toast and a cheese toastie cut in half for my children and 4 cold drinks. Although a little pricey, the food was very nice and baked/made on site. Well worth a visit if you are in the area around breakfast/brunch time.

My partner and I stopped in for brunch on a Saturday morning. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese muffin, and my partner had the croque madame. Both were super tasty and the coffee was some of the best we've had. Staff made every effort to get us a table and make us welcome despite how busy it was. Would highly recommend and we'll certainly be back if we're ever in the area again.

It was a great dining experience in this lovely, little café. We were fully content with the variety of ingredients in our meals. There was a wide range of coffee and tea options. We found the dirty chai particularly exquisite. The café's layout was arranged creatively. Staff were very kind, speedy and accomodating. It is a dog-friendly café which we also liked! We would gladly return here on another occasion.

Stunning find on our holiday. Dog friendly and the most amazing selection of food and coffee. I can highly recommend the poached eggs with avocado and chilli jam. I can’t remember having a better breakfast! ❤️

We had the truffled mushrooms and the vegan one! So delicious - would definitely recommend. Gorgeous cafe! We also had a orange juice and the caffeine kick smoothie to drink!

Best breakfast in the area. Arrive before opening time if you want a seat on a weekend. Very friendly staff, very attentive. Food and coffee is top notch. Dog friendly. The duck fat hash brown is a must as is the home made sourbread 👌

Exceptional. Had the best soup I have ever eaten here: pea and ham, amazing. The staff are super friendly. Whoever kitted the place out has real taste. When you end up photographing the cutlery you know you have been somewhere special. Coming back tomorrow for breakfast.

Excellent service! Delicious breakfast! Can’t wait to come back tomorrow for more! Apologies for the photo - was too impatient to eat it all up and forgot to photograph the food at the beginning :)

What a lovely place to spend some time. The Old Store had a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food and drinks. I had a Full English Breakfast, and it was honestly the tastiest breakfast I have eaten, and at 52, I have eaten a few! My daughter chose the pancakes, fried chicken and maple syrup, and said that it was delicious......or as she said to me while she was eating it "I don't want this to end!" She had this same meal in New York nearly 3 years ago, and there was no comparison, the chicken at The Old Store was succulent, the pancakes were large and fluffy, and the maple syrup was plentiful, and it beat the New York version, hands down! We are already looking forward to a return visit......a new favourite place on our list.

Hands down the best English breakfast I have had in a long time. They use high quality produce and the sourdough is indeed worthy of its accolades. The coffee was also very yummy. It's a busy and loud little place but so worth it.

By far the best cafe we've eaten at during our times in North Norfolk, and indeed one of my all time favourites; brunch was faultless and I can't recommend highly enough. The hash brown is a must have and the bacon was outstanding too. It's also one of the few places we found sourdough bread in the area. Extra bonus points for being dog friendly.

The Old Store...More like the gold store. You won't frettersham over where to get breakfast in Snettersham. The old store has ingredients at it's fore, the cocktails will not bore. I had the full English with a second sausage, and ketchup on the side because I'm saucy. My lovely date had eggs benedict that looked like seggs. The coffee was also great and the service awesome. I would highly recommend this. Maybe one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

Love the Old Store. Amazing Croissant, Fabulous Coffee and some of the best Poached Eggs you'll find anywhere. The service is superb! It gets busy. Don't be surprised if you have to queue. Love it, love it.

Great little find for breakfast close to Hall Farm CL. Dog friendly. We both had full English breakfast and although a bit pricey at £14 each, the quality of the ingredients and presentation was second to none. Well done Ania and the team. You deserve to do well!!

Delicious! Croque Monsieur was very generous, defeated my husband! Smoked salmon with pickles and rye bread, delicious as were the pancakes. Staff and service very good, nice ambience and plenty of space. A few steps up to get in was awkward for my elderly mum. But I'm sure this won't stop her from wanting to go again.

My favourite breakfast....the hash browns, sourdough and dirty chai are delicious (+ a takeaway cheese scone)

Food was nice, staff nice, but it's very small and it's starting to feel a little shabby. The cushions on the long bench has seen better days. They allow dogs, which is nice if you have one, but I feel it's just too small a space for them, especially when full. As it's small, the tables are quite close together, so when a waitress is serving the table next to you, it can feel a little intrusive. Went to have a look at the cakes, though they looked nice, there wasn't anything that made me want buy. The pastries looked good and I guess going first thing, there would be more on offer. The drinks look interesting, but mum just wanted an orange juice, unfortunately it wasn't on the menu, only apple. There was an orange, carrot and ginger, but that's not to everyone's taste.... Or budget! The juices are lovely, but the prices are on the steep side to say the least. I don't mind paying if I'm getting fresh, good ingredients which these clearly are. But it's a place for a 'special' breakfast/lunch, rather than a weekly visit. The lack of parking is frustrating. If you're local and know there's the playing field carpark around the corner, then it's not a problem.

Miles better than anything else in the area. Had a couple of flat whites, one was way too hot, next one was better. Cakes are great and the hot food looked excellent.

We absolutely love The Old Store and it’s a favourite haunt for our friends and family too. Staff are fantastic, welcoming, friendly and efficient and will always try and accommodate you as it gets very busy. Some reviews have said it’s noisy but it full of buzz and chatter (some call it ambiance) we love the atmosphere. The food is of a very high quality and standard and it’s certainly not your usual breakfast cafe! The menu offers some really different smoothies and juices which are delicious and taste better than often described. The coffee is great and the food absolutely fantastic. Well done to all of you, it’s great to see you busy after such a dreadful time for hospitality businesses. Look forward to seeing you again soon!

A really quite incredible breakfast. I can see why it’s advisable to book a table! 10am, on a Sunday, with people standing waiting for tables! Our friends booked after hearing great things, and boy did The Old Store deliver. Well worth a visit.

Lovely place for breakfast or brunch. Very friendly and welcoming, including a warm welcome for dogs. Food was delicious. The bread is fantastic. It is difficult not to buy something from the counter as the loaves and selection of pastries and cakes is very tempting. Although the prices are towards the higher end, the quality and whole experience are definitely worth it.
