I’ve heard of the legend of Burgerville. I’ve been told it’s the best burger place in the Northwest and it’s on a “must try” list when in the area. Funny enough, I’ve been coming into this area for years and I’ve never stopped to see just how good the fries and shakes are at Burgerville. So the last time we drove through Salem, we decided to take a small detour to see how it fair’s against the competition and our own preferences. Unfortunately, I wasn’t too hungry so I didn’t get a burger, but we did get shakes and fries to sample the menu. The restaurant was clean enough but felt very old and could use updating. The shakes were quite good and probably the best part of Burgerville though the fries were average at best. If you are a local, I’m sure you will like this place fine, but let’s be honest, In n Out is much better. Change my mind…

Milkshakes are the only good thing at this money hole. A burger by itself is 7 dollars, and tastes like the gum on the bottom of my shoe. Milkshakes are 5 bucks to get a handful of blended fruit and cream. And that's the largest size. Really underwhelming, and frustrating. Not worth the price, or the drive into Monmouth.

My hamburger was raw when I took a bite. They remade my burger and was nice about it. Just be careful and look at your food before eating. Staff was friendly. Restaurant wasn't the cleanest due to it being busy. Kid friendly restaurant. Dairy free milk shakes are delicious as always.

Stopped in for a late night supper and elected to dine in. I'm glad we did because we had an enjoyable time. The young man who took our order and delivered it to us was very friendly and delightful to deal with. The dining area had several customers but wasn't overly busy so it was easy to hear with my cohort. It was also warm, dry and comfortable inside which was vastly different than the weather outside. Definitely much better than grabbing a drive-thru order and going home to a cold house to eat.

I only go here for the shakes since I feel the food tastes a bit on the plain side. I've only had a few different burgers here. The taste on them was ok but the flavor was very mild. The shakes on the other hand are amazing and I always choose this place for their shakes! I just wish they had stronger straws, they are mostly worthless for these shakes. Ask for a spoon but definitely go for the shakes!

Dropped by here for a late bite with my family. Usually didn't consider Burgerville as a place I could even eat as a vegan but I was surprised to read that they had several vegan-friendly options on their menu. I had their Plantville Cheezeburger. I was delighted to see that they not only had a vegan cheese but also a vegan sauce—both were lovely. The sauce was a mild-medium spicy which made me love it even more. I also tried their Hazelnut Chocolate Shake which has a vegan/dairy-free option available. You could taste the hazelnuts vividly; it was so fresh. It was soo thick I had trouble drinking through the straw but that's how I like it. Would love to come back here if I'm ever in Monmouth again and try the other flavours of their shakes and their Waffle fries.

Technically fast food, always prepared amazing and delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

I have a very picky kid, and the cashier was so kind and helpful. We were able to order a cheese burger without the patty (basically a cheese sandwich), and my kid loved it. The staff is always very nice and food is good.

It's a fast food joint, it's local and locally sourced food, not a national Corp. Tastes far better than the rest, especially the tostada burger (exclusive to their application ordering). Older joints have more solid employees - not a lot of new faces, so they take care of their workers too.

The best Burgerville location. I've never had a bad meal here. Veggies are always fresh, burgers and fries cooked to perfection, and the shakes are phenomenal.

Extremely overpriced and unfilfilling food. In and out will be our preferred stop coming back from the coast over this one.

Always great food and service.. Some vegetarian and vegan options. I also love that they use local ingredients.

I live in Salem, but I drive all the way out to Monmouth for their pepper bacon cheeseburger & waffle fries. I've tried to recreate that burger, but it's never as good. The employees work hard and know their stuff. I've NEVER had to wait. Thank you, Monmouth Burgerville!

Long lines.

Pretty good Burger chain. I wish the patties were bigger and I was getting more value for my back. I’ve eaten there twice now so usually I won’t do repeat business if I was unhappy. There’s not exactly tons of options in Monmouth so it’s convenient for the area.

The service at this Burgerville was amazing! I was just passing through and stopped for some takeout. I had kids in the car so had a complicated order with many modifications. The people helping me were exceptionally congenial about all my requests and when I asked for a second wrapper so I could split a burger between kids they kindly offered to cut it in half and wrap the pieces separately for me. They order came out perfect, exactly what I requested. Their smiles and kindness felt so genuine that I left feeling happy! Smiles are contagious! Thank you!

The Bliss shakes and Gluten free hamburger buns provide options suitable for people with dietary restrictions and allergies! Good food and fries, definitely recommend if you are in the area!

The milkshakes are awesome! But unfortunately this place has just gone so far downhill the last few years. Their burgers are like $4 a piece which is a good price but they look slammed together Macdonald’s style. I literally had a fry today that tastes the way an armpit smells. I had to spit it out and find something to cover the taste. It was awful. Suffice it to say, we will not be returning to this establishment. Sorry to see it go so far downhill.

Best coast chicken sandwich was delicious! BUT they were out of hazelnut for the hazelnut shake :( overall good though!

The food is good. The prices are a little more than some other fast food but the ingredients are locally sourced and my food is consistently good here. The offer online ordering and delivery options that make it an easy option for nights we don't want to cook and don't want to wait in line at the drive thru.
