Nice place for a picnic and a swim if it was hot enough. Bit of a rocky walk to the water so if you not steady on your feet don’t bother. Toilets and showers available. Nice day out.

Big Crystal Creek is beautiful for a dip in the cool water. A large swimming area that is not too deep so safe for younger children (supervised of course) to splash about. It is an easy walk from the car park to the water. There are some good-sized fish in the water that can easily be seen.

We were there on Day 2 in Townsville, just for an hour.. Next day: all museums and shooting range are cancelled and we are here again, for the full day, so nice! Tip: get waterproof pouch for your phone and film underwater throwing bread crumbs to the fish, awesome! Boulders slides are 1km away - great fun!

Quite a beautiful place to visit for a refreshing swim. Definitely not wheel chair friendly and bit of a walk to the Falls with steps down. Be very careful on the rocks in the water getting in and out they are extremely slippery.

Perfect spot to swim. Watch out for the cheeky turkeys that will go through an unattended picnic basket faster than yogi Bear 😄 road up to the creek is slender but worth the trip

Lovely crystal clear water even now that it's low. Some construction going on at the moment.

This is a beautiful spot to escape Townsville and swim in cool mountain streams. There is a camping area with clean toilets and shower block. Bush Turkey's walk around scratching for food. If you are into nature then this is a great experience.

Such a beautiful spot, the water was amazing. A bit slippery getting in and out of the water with moss on rocks but definitely worth getting in and having a swim
