Im a bit nostalgic when i came and tasted the dish, they served my favourite food "ikan asin klothok" as the part of the side dish. I was genuinely surprised. There's literally no one dares to touch that dish as the part of the menu because of its taste of pure salt. I mean, its quite unbelievable the audacity of this restaurant to even consider ikan asin as side dish. The pelasan tuna is soo good too! (Chef's kiss) The place is squeaky clean. The staffs are soo soo neighbourly. As usual, traditional javanese music as playlist just how i like it. Woah, i was amazed, the place was amazing, the vibe and all considering the location that bit secluded. Parking would be tricky for cars. Food was great, huge portion for me. Sambal was fresh and spicy, i loved it! We ordered dadar jagung and tahu walik for snacks, delicious. And also es cao and dawet, those were okay, bit thick because santan (coconut milk) but it’s as expected. Service were pretty good, staff were helpful and nimble but maybe need to smile bit more 😅 Overall, worth to try and revisit again!

Cak Uut is definitely leading in Malang Culinary. This place is already known for many spicy menu. I can't eat too much spicy food, but even for me, this place is very fulfilling. You could order non spicy one, you could even ask the waiters to keep the sambals separated. In my last visit, I ordered a big meal, Sego Tempong and Sayur Lodeh. Both are delicious and the portion is generous for that kinda price. The ambience of this place is great, colorful decoration with of course Banyuwangi vibes. Dadar Jagung and Tahu Walik are our choice for dumplings, and they are excellent as well. If you come to Malang, then this place is really recommended.
