Great little bungalow to stay when arriving in Malang. Free water refill, coffee and tea. Breakfast was included which was fried rice with an egg. Dinner was 25,000- fried rice, noodles, soup. Big beer was 50,000. The family there was really sweet ! On the first night they invited us to eat in their house because they were having a celebration. Also there was a really cute puppy to play with as well as chickens and rabbits. It is a little loud in the morning as it is right on the street and the rooster is loud. WiFi is poor. Scooter rental for 75,000 or 100 for the bigger scooter.

My girlfriend and I stayed here over the muslim festival of fitri with the hope of climbing Mt Bromo and Ijan. However, We were stuck in Malang for 3 days because transport was fully booked. His turned out to be a great experience and we really enjoyed exploring the city of Malang. Javana homestay would be the perfect place to start your adventure to mt Bromo, and is the perfect place to enjoy Malang. The location is out of town in a beautiful suburb surrounded by jungle, and you can see how middle class Javanese people live and enjoy peaceful walks. It is then very easy and cheap to take a taxi in to explore the historic city and have some traditional Javanese food. The owner and manager were very friendly and helpful and helped us book things when we needed. Good simple breakfast and relatively cheap. This is the go-to place for travellers to Malang.

It's located a lil' bit far from town but the weather and surroundings here are good for stay during vacations. This place also has a trip package to visit Bromo Mountain. The owner is so kind hearted. There are two types of room u can choose. The bungalow and the dormitory house which is placed accross the way. It's so cozy and comfy place :)

The place is clean. The owner help me with the accommodation to go to South Malang (Beach tourism), the bed is nice and the price is cheap also the breakfast is great

Not well maintained, unkempt, dusty and parts of bamboo floor nails sticking out if one is not too careful. We particularly did not like being spied upon through CCTV, literally spied upon

Recommended place to stay for 3 to 4 days for couple, Mr. and Mrs. Yohanes provided 5 stars service, good breakfast, and lovely place. Lack of publicity but Gojek or Grab are accessible.

One of good options for staying over before we go to Bromo or Semeru Mountain, sometime the hot water is not working, breakfast not really available but the owner is helpful so you can always talk to them what you need.

Property not well maintained. Not friendly at all. Room so dirty and dusty. Owner not ready to accept customers. Please avoid this place for your own good. No water supply at night!
