This place is great and the prices are the same or sometimes even better than purchasing online… this was my review a couple of months ago… today will be the last time I ever go to EXOTIC AQUARIUMS go there to make a big purchase of fish had to ask two employees including the owner for help… they told me to wait.. waited for a while the owner even left to the back and never got back. Came all the way from homestead to make a purchase but I guess I will go to strictly fish instead.

Not so good , but they used to be a lot better as I remember , now it's more of what you see is what we got attitude. But the young kid there was nice . The older taller guys not so great ,not rude either. Just not so great . I expected to see a lot more inventory but it didn't work out that way. Maybe next time, if so anyhow I can tell you they are a bit over priced on the fresh water fish .

Exotic is my favorite place for any reef stuff. Love the staff, really friendly and super helpful. Christian knows a lot about fresh and salt water. Jose is #1, I bother him with some much questions about corals, lights and food that he takes his time to explain to me. It feels great to know you have people that are willing to help in store or by the phone. Thanks exotic!!!

Nice staff Better than strictly fish the hospitality is amazing! Reasonable prices, very knowledgeable. Many in the staff helped me get just what I need for my tank. Hospitality goes a long way and thank you for that.

Super cool aquarium store. I go there often w my partner and we find the service to be above and beyond. If you need Saltwater supplies or stock ask for Jose he’s far beyond knowledgeable and honest, Mia is also great with fresh water and knows it better than anyone.

Probably my very favorite store in south fl, most of the people there are truly amazing. There’s 1 guy here that goes above an beyond he knows his stuff knows his fish and is the go to for coral care, Jose! You gotta go see him the mans an encyclopedia of fish knowledge and is always willing to go out of his way to answer your questions. If you love aquariums you HAVE to visit here.

Totally unprofessional. Save your time and money and go to neighborhood fish farm just up the street. They have more selection, better customer service and better prices. Never again

Exotic aquariums is the best in the biz. They have an insane variety of Scolys and torch corals. Ask for jose. He’s very knowledgeable and always takes care of his customers.

Nice aquarium very well stocked with just about anything saltwater and freshwater, A bit pricey but that seems to be a trend with a lot of these aquariums, I would revisit again and probably will.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable down to earth aquarium store this is the place. Time and time again Alex has stepped up to assist in aquarium needs and service. Just about anything I have thrown at Exotic as a request and they come through with a smile. In a modern day internet market place where most stores have minimal inventory these guys stock just about anything you could need and its accessories! Alex’s knowledge of both fresh water, saltwater fish and vast experience and expertise in corals coupled with his very humble personality and willingness to help everyone is what has kept my family and extended family returning year after year. I recommend people on the regular because of Alex to go shop at Exotic. Even my neighbors as far south in Cutler Bay have gone to purchase from them.

Amazing store with a wide variety of fish. Dylan was very nice and knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I had is that I noticed planaria in the shrimp tank, which made me wary to get shrimp from this store despite them being high grade

I been shopping here for years. Since new ownership has taken over place is becoming a fish stop I don’t wanna visit anymore. They use to have tons of new coral weekly fish etc. Now nothing. The new owners need to read this to understand how the fish community feels.

I came by the store and I just want say I received the best help I have gotten since starting my fish tank. The employee jerry went above and beyond with helping me really improve my fish tank.

This shop was fantastic and had plenty of cool fish, both salt and fresh. Gerry and Dylan were both amazing help.

So I was there this past weekend, a very nice young men by the name of Jerry was very pleasant and knowledgeable in regards to saltwater tanks. He made me want to come back and purchase more stuff for my saltwater tank. Great customer services. Kindly greeted me and asked if I needed help. I’ve been to a lot of stores in the area and no one in the other location have that great customer service. So Highly recommend this place to anyone.

I order a fishtank long time ago and now I fill it up with water and it is more like a weird shower than a fishtank. Also, I was kind of not pleace with the lip that the man improvised when I pick it up. I guess it was a sign

This store is awesome! They have such amazing fish, tanks, food and any equipment that you may need later down the line in your fish keeping hobby journey. I have been purchasing fish from this business for over 15 years. They have very knowledgeable employees that make the hobby much easier. Mark and Rey are very helpful especially with Freshwater aquariums. The store is well organized and even when they are busy the wait times are not very long for assistance.

Dead after 1 hr of purchase , I call talk to the owner and I old her that I have 4 more of these in my tank but it was my fault because my ammonia was high. After I test my water in 3 different places and also in my house with the same equiment that they have, They literally told me that I was doing it wrong. Don't let me start with customer service the worse ever and everything is overpriced. Go to neighborhood fish they got better price and selection for freswater fish and customer service is not even close.
