I travelled 30 minutes to come here with 2 of my friends who had memberships and tried to go in as their guest. The lady at the front desk didn’t let me in because “yOu hAve tO bE 19 tO bRinG a GuEsT”. We were all 18 so she wouldn’t let me go in. She was also showing attitude but like why 19?? what kinda rule is 19+ to bring in a guest?? not 18 not 16 not 21 but 19??! what kinda random @$$ age is 19 just to bring in a GUEST. Plus their scanning machine didn’t work. but if y’all want to compensate me for this horrible experience, just cashapp me like $10 for the gas money we spent to get here: $sajfendi

I called the Y to regisrer in person this year. They said I can't. And I don't like the website using cookies. So I'm not registering. First time in 28 years that I haven't registered. Shame on you Delaware Y. And you probably don't even care what I think.

Went to the YMCA to sign my granddaughter up for swimming 🏊‍♂️ lessons only to find out all the slots were full 4 her age and level of lessons it's based on membership gets first priority wish the lady would have told me that on the phone she just said come sign up on July 28th so l told the lady at the front desk with the price of gas for a V 8 SUV premium l don't do no unnecessary driving have to admit price is coming down ...lol

We took our son here to take swimming lessons and it's like every other YMCA; very friendly and inviting. He loved his swimming classes and we won't hesitate to send him back there when we have more time. They have a gymnasium and a workout center and the staff was always very happy and welcoming.

I love the YMCA we have in Lockport, NY but had some time to waste up in Buffalo. So went to YMCA on Delaware Avenue. It's in an older building, which I think is great (love the old architecture). It is a nice place . Has just about everything the new ones have just in a small area. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Got my work out done!

They have new machines and do a good job keeping the gym clean and up to date being that it's in a really old building. They have great class offerings with a pool, sauna and large gym. My only complaint is that i wish they had better child watch hours as well as air conditioning in summer. It gets really hot in there when you are working out.

I love the cardio room and the new equipment; I like the pool and the fact there are several guided swim classes as well as open swim times; I like the variety of activities, from yoga to Zumba, that are offered in multiple levels, from pro to geriatric. The staff is outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is always clean.

My daughter comes home every day just beaming about all the cool things she's getting to do all day. She especially loves getting to go swimming every day, and in just the first week lost just about every last bit of being afraid of "big pools." She immediately made lots of friends and as greeted with hugs and smiles every morning. I come home beaming too. Not just because shes so happy, but also because every single member of staff I have met has been chipper, bright, enthusiastic and above and beyond helpful. I can tell they care about my daughter and that she feels safe and well taken care of every day. The financial aid and extended hours are a lifesaver as well. I already know I will definitely be back next summer with my kiddo, even though this summer's just begun!

Terrible. PooI"s never open. I can not swim when I have time. Poor poor poor service. They claim "first come first served". In reality? There is preferential treatment. I was kicked out of my lane twice. The pool is ALWAYS opened late. The life guard shows up really late on Saturdays, if he shows up at all. For $60 per month this in unacceptable.
