Let me start by saying, Happy Holidays to the employees that worked on Christmas. Food: I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo, sauce was a bit runny and in some areas the pasta was a little too hard for al dente. Now, I know this is an Applebee's so my expectations weren't too high to begin with. Aside from the runny sauce and improperly cooked pasta, the flavor profile wasn't bad, surprisingly. The broccoli was steamed perfectly and the breadstick was fresh. Service: Haley (apologies if I spelled your name wrong) our server was prompt, courteous, kind, and attentive. She made sure to offer another cocktail as soon as she saw they were low and refilled our waters promptly. Overall 5 star service. She'd do fantastic at a higher scale establishment. Manager on staff even made an appearance to check on tables and wished Patrons Happy Holidays. Atmosphere: Very calm, very relaxed, and loved that the employees got to wear Christmas Sweaters and Santa Hats. Very cute, very fun, and made for a nice dining experience. Overall: This Applebee's is well run. You can tell when management cares about their job and it showed in the dining experience here.

They have stepped up their game! Food was great-good quantity of perfectly cooked chicken & plentiful in my Oriental Chicken Salad. I eat here often as I work close by. The atmosphere is ok. The old carpeting needs to be taken out asap-gives the impression it’s a dirty place. Don’t know if it’s the company policy but the walls could use a paint job in a lighter color that would prob help as well. Server Jacob was fantastic! Couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. Really appreciated his extra efforts which is why I’m posting this review. All in all I’m rooting for this place to continue to get better as I enjoy the food when it’s prepared right like today!

Food was good but portions were small. I expect to take some home when I go out to eat. Won't be back for awhile. With the recession we are in, eating out is getting to be rare for us. Part of the reason we do eat out is taking home leftovers to feed our family for another meal.

So disappointed ! Applebees is again the worst place to go in Mansfield! They had been doing so well the past year… good service good food…we stopped by today… came in… no customers except 3 men at the bar… they had drinks. We sat at the bar for 15 min.. while several employees passed us, flirted with the guys at the bar , laughed , never asked us if we wanted anything. No one behind the bar at all… couple employees playing on on their phones. We got up.. and left. They looked at us… 4 of them and never said a word. I will make it my mission to tell EVERYONE I know to avoid this establishment . Apparently the owners couldn’t care less… surely the lack of customers hasn’t gone unnoticed . It’s ALL about the employees. They really have no work ethic nor do they care about the job they do. Sad… really sad.. it was really starting to be a good place to go for food and drinks .

We came in at 7 :00 pm. We were seated as soon as we came in. And sat there for 12 minutes and not one server came to greet us. It was not busy. There were maybe 6 customers total in the restaurant. We watched one guy check on two of his tables, watched one guy in the back stand at the entrance to the back, I’m guessing waiting on the first guy to bring a bill from a table, and a young lady walked passed us from the back, but no one greeted us or took our drinks. It will be a while before I go back again.

We ate around 3 pm, so not many people in the restaurant. There was no urgency with anything. The waitress was busy flirting with the 2 bus Boys so everything was slow. My kids ordered milk shakes with their meals but they didn't receive them until we were all halfway done. I personally will not go back to this Applebee's.
