Good hotel. Pros: Good location in Arlington, right by Putt Putt and the Parks mall. Weight room is great and open 24/7, has good machines, dumb bells, and is really clean. Free breakfast including pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage and ham. The lady who served breakfast was working her tail off and did a great job keeping everything full! Cons: maintenance could be improved. Our mini fridge was on its last leg and they had no one there to fix it. There also could have been a better chair in the room. They also expect you to be out by 11 AM.

Stayed at better holiday Inn’s. The building is very old, the walls are thin, you can hear people casually walking by your room, your neighbor and people upstairs. switched rooms because the phone line and refrigerator didn’t work well, still the same issue at the new room. The AC is loud and I’m a light sleeper. For the price they charge - stay in another hotel. 2 stars because the breakfast was ok

The staff is great! Front desk staff is very friendly and professional. And this place was very, very clean!! Which was a huge plus to me. My only two issues, and they weren't bad, was the bed & pillows could have been a little more comfortable. Hence why 4 stars. Thank you for a nice stay.

Absolutely avoid this hotel if at all possible. I booked an accessible room two weeks in advance for a family vacation. One of companions needed wheelchair accessible room. I stopped in today to just ensure that room was available and that we would have no difficulties around 3. Mrs. Gutierrez, the GM on duty, assured me room would be available shortly. She supposedly contacted housekeeping. I told her we would return at 4:00, the guaranteed check in time. The room was still not available and the young man working front desk was unapologetic. I wanted assurance from him that I would be able to get checked in within an hour due to heat advisory and our guest’s need to rest. His exact verbiage was “I don’t know what you are going to do, maybe by 9pm”. Keep in mind the suite is already paid for. We were left throwing our hands up, confused and upset over the treatment by one of IHG facilities. I filed formal complaint with the company, however Mrs. Gutierrez has not gotten into contact with me. The young man verbalized that the hotel was understaffed and housekeeping is only performed once every five days upon request. Please be aware of problems facing you if you choose to book with this Holiday Inn Express. There are a lot of other hotels in area that look great, such as Hilton Garden Inn and a newer La Quinta, Marriott. By the time I finished trying to get the employee to assist me, the hotel lobby was filled with angry guests. At this point, they had all become rowdy and aggressive. It was not a great experience and do not ever want to experience again. Hope this helps someone 👍

Very bad and disappointed. First they switched my room into a room a didn't book. I booked a double bed standard room. Hotel switched me into a double standard handicap room. Somehow my app said I was staying in a 1 king bed room. When I arrived they gave me the handicap room and shower head was not something I could use. When talked to front desk they switched me in a room they said they didn't have. When I got into the room they switched me into it was really dirty had bugs on floor carpet really stained. Very frustrating with holiday inns because this isn't the first time they do this to my family and I.

Smelled ok but the AC didn’t work. When I asked for help I was told to adjust the thermostat (no duh). We spent the night in sweltering texas heat with no AC and no way to crack the window open safely since we faced the street. The bed creaked every time we moved a little. Next day I asked again and I was told maintenance had left and front desk came back to check what I was complaining about. The moment she entered she was surprised at how hot the room was. When she couldn’t adjust the thermostat like I was suggested earlier, I was moved to a better room and finally got to sleep. Even the lady refilling the breakfast bar was rude. It’s no better than Motel 6 but much more expensive.

Holiday Inn...The name I trust for my family hotel stay. The room is spacious, modern and ultra clean. The service is awesome and the staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with wide varieties of healthy food.

Very rude manager. People were talking and playing until 2 in the morning. There was also a baby crying. When I asked for a different room, there was no apology. The manager said she can't rebook me now, I'll need to pack my things. The hair dryer didn't work either. And we are Gold members.

The room was clean, the location was safe, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was the noise. For some reason, the room doors have a large gap at the bottom allowing noise from the hallway/lobby to travel. I don't mean loud or obnoxious noise. Just regular noise of talking, staff moving things, etc...I was hoping to sleep until 7am, but got woke up at 4am by staff moving what sounded like some type of barrel.

Exceptional staff My first room smelled like a kennel but the front desk took care of this immediately and moved me. My room had a couch, but I couldn't read etc. because there was no lighting except by the bed and over the TV... I stayed here last year for a conference and it has gone downhill. I made a comment to the front desk and they said that the hotel is going to start a complete remodel soon.Maybe that's why it was disappointing to me this time. Housekeeping was wonderful and so were the front desk staff..they made my stay tolerable with their smiles and dedication to their jobs.

Our stays at HIE have been hit or miss lately with the chain not living up to the quality it once did. Fortunately this hotel has kept the cleanliness and comfort that we all appreciate. I actually laughed when I laid in the bed and saw how soft and comfortable it was. It seems that other HIE hotels have been using rock hard mattresses. Very thankful for the night we spent at this location. Service was phenomenal with each and ever staff member showing care and enthusiasm about our stay. Thank you!

Great hotel. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was very nice, they also have a great 24 hour fitness room (treadmill, elliptical, and a rack of dumbbells - complementary water bottles!), a laundry room and a great breakfast in the mornings. Our stay was great.

Convenient location. We accidentally booked for the wrong nights, and the staff were very accommodating, helping us fix it without any inconvenience. The rooms are clean and have some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. My only complaints are the construction outside that starts at 7:30 am (which looks like it will be finished in a couple of months), and that our mini fridge stopped working on the second day, which caused all of our food to spoil.

I cannot express how pleased I am with my experience at this location. I would like to acknowledge Ms. Paula Assistant Manger and Emone front desk agent for the warm welcome to the hotel. Mrs. Norma Gutierrez General Manager for such her insightful vision, and hiring quality staff. It is evident in the friendly smiles, cheerful dispositions all around service delivery. The cards are stacked in your favor this hotel is spearhead by the best. Thank you Holiday Inn, you have restored the lost art of customer centric service delivery.
