Today
was
my
first
time
at
Mac
salon
and
overall
it
was
a
wonderful
experience.
While
on
the
phone
I
mentioned
I
had
my
children
with
me
today
and
was
told
it
wasn't
an
issue.
When
I
arrived,
I
was
greeted
and
given
a
tour
of
the
salon.
During
that
tour
I
was
told
they
do
both
adult
and
kid
hair
services/nail
services,
which
I
was
happy
to
hear.
I
have
2
daughters,
2.5
and
7,
and
unfortunately
had
to
bring
them
along
with
me,
something
I
normally
wouldn't
do
if
I
had
a
choice.
Lauren
was
my
stylist
and
she
was
an
absolute
joy!
We
connected
over
both
having
young
children,
mom
life,
etc.
She
did
a
phenomenal
job
on
my
hair
and
was
great
with
my
girls.
My
kids
sat
quietly
for
almost
a
full
hour
and
a
half,
keeping
occupied
the
best
they
could.
At
one
point
maybe
10
min
from
the
end
of
my
visit,
my
youngest
daughter
fell
down
and
cried
for
literally
20
seconds.
Within
that
20
seconds,
a
woman
came
over
(I
assume
the
manager)
and
reminded
me
there
were
people
getting
facials
across
the
hall...
hinting
at
me
to
shut
my
child
up.
I
smiled,
said
sorry,
and
at
that
point
Ava
was
already
done
crying.
I
fully
understand
people
trying
to
relax
and
not
wanting
to
hear
children
cry.
I
don't
want
it
either
and
I
did
everything
in
my
power
to
make
sure
my
kids
were
nothing
short
of
perfect.
If
she
had
been
crying
for
any
longer
than
the
20
seconds
I
would've
taken
her
outside,
no
question.
But
as
a
new
customer,
in
a
facility
that
supposedly
is
open
to
offering
services
to
children,
to
be
passively
reprimanded
for
having
my
child
there
was
not
only
humiliating,
it
was
unacceptable.
I
finished
10
minutes
later
and
hurried
out
feeling
completely
judged
and
unwelcome.
Then,
on
the
way
out
the
door,
they
offered
my
children
goldfish!
What?!
So
confused.....
not
sure
if
they
are
actually
child
friendly
but
all
signs
point
to
no.
Great
facility...
but
do
not
take
your
children!
