I will be finding another urologist. My appt was for 9AM. I arrived at least 20 minutes early as directed. Upon arrival there were at least 8 people waiting in a not very large waiting room. I signed in and was told i would be called up. I assumed to complete required paperwork. Over the subsequent 30 minutes, more patients poured into the waiting room eventually prompting 2 already there to complain about the lack of social distance seating. What a cluster. I told the receptionist that they were too busy to see me so I would call back to make an appointment. I hope they don't hold their breath while waiting for my call.

I've been a patient of Dr Graves for about a year. I have to say Dr Graves not only cares about his patients but is very thorough in his practice. I like the fact that Dr Graves takes his time with his patients. I didn't feel rushed at all, and in fact he answered all of my questions and took the time so I would understand. Dr Graves made me feel comfortable and I walked out of there with no questions unanswered.

The Support Staff at the StPete Urology Office are some of the most friendly, professional and efficient folks I have encountered. They take their time to explain procedures and answer all questions. I would recommend anyone needing this specialty care to come to the StPete Urology Office. You will not be disappointed. I recommend raises for entire staff for their superior patient care.

I was complementing the young ladies, that work at the front desk on how caring they are, and helpful to all of us old people. They are so sweet and friendly. One of them told me it’s because the doctors are so wonderful to them. I thought that was a great complement to the whole program there.

I waited for Dr. Oppenheim for an hour and 15 minutes before walking out. How hard would it have been to have the receptionist call me and tell me that they're running over an hour late? That would have taken less than 60 seconds, and it would have allowed me to use that time productively. If a healthcare provider shows such little regard for the patient's time, it makes me doubt whether the provider cares about the patient's health.

Have been going to this Practice for some time. This time I saw Dr. Grave’s PA. She was great - very knowledgeable and took the time to find answers for me re my test results which was so helpful.

Super busy place, old school, everything with paper, no online portal for patients. I went one time and I won't go there again.

Dr. Reid listened to my father and addressed his individual needs. My father and I were both very impressed with Dr. Reid's knowledge and professionalism and the respect with which he treated us. We feel he truly cares about my father's health and is providing excellent care.

I saw Dr. Graves for Green Light Laser prostate surgery on June 15th, 2022. Ninety days later I have no symptoms of BPH and it has really made a difference in my life. Sleeping through the night, frequency of urination greatly reduced and no lingering side effects. I had urinary retention previously and couldn’t go at all or just a trickle. I highly recommend Dr. Graves and the St. Pete Urology team.

It's so-so. Did have to wait a bit ... but that's not unusual for a specialist. The doc is friendly and efficient. Not superficial ... but not very deep either. Right in the middle. Probably fine for run-of-the-mill urologic issues. The staff is also nothing special ... just fine. Nobody got back to me with the test results. Didn't get any communication via a portal either. Lackluster.

I was referred to Dr Graves by my nephrologist for needed surgical intervention. He does not perform the surgery I needed but he and his staff worked diligently to get me into another specialist. It has not been an easy road but he was a vital person in getting the issue resolved. Thank you.

I was at the ER for a kidney stone and had a referral to see dr Oppenheim… I called and called and left a voicemail and nobody ever got back to me. It doesn’t matter if you have a referral or a insanely huge kidney stone, stpete urology doesn’t care about you! And how they treat people is disgusting… I can get better treatment at a vets office. Thanks for nothing

My father was a patient of Dr. Graves. Time spent with the doctor is normally about 15 minutes, which may be about the same with other specialist or primary care doctors. My dad was mostly well taken care of by the doctor and staff. There may be time of inconsistency due to large number of patients they see daily, but his kidney stone issue was resolve by Dr Graves whom also monitor his other urology health issues. Dr. Graves will refer his patients to another specialist if he notice any concerning health issue that is outside of his field of medical practice. Both Dr. Graves and Staff will work hard to get preauthorization approve or will assist with finding out from insurance why an preauthorization is being denied. I've always receive a call back when leaving a message for the dr medical assistant. Frustration can occur with billing, they use to have a separate billing system that I think doesnt sync with their main system. So a co-pay or billing payment made through billing system online would not reflect in patient chart and additional time is spend for them to access a different system to confirm payment was made. They did recently upgrade to a new system last year that should have resolve that issue. This advice applies to for both this office and any other medical office you may go to. Most doctors see a large number of patients daily. Make sure you are communicating with the doctor. Ask questions whether if its to clarify a health issue or if the treatment plan given is the only option if not why is it the best option. Advise them of any change in health or diet that may have affected the results of an lab. Absolutely seek 2nd opinion or new doctor if you do not feel your medical issue is being addressed. Sorry for long review, but hope it helps.

Why does it take a week for someone to respond to my pharmacy for an important medication in my treatment. Bad form.

I have been seeing Dr. Laryngakis for a number of years and he has done several procedures on me. He takes plenty of time to explain and answer questions. I highly respect and trust him. The office staff is always very friendly and accommodating although occasionally will run a little behind (but that is worth dealing with)

I have been a patient here for four years. I have always received excellent treatment. All the staff show complete professionalism and are friendly and helpful at all times. They are often busy, because this is such a good practice, but will always do their very best to accommodate your needs.

I spoke with Mallory and she was super helpful and polite with setting up a new patient visit for me. It’s hard to get through to people on the phone but she was great. I definitely recommend this office.
