Update review: 3/22/2022 Same great drinks and service! Suggestions for company: get more stuff to add to the sodas like: fruit purée, popping pearls, syrup flavors, favored creams….😛 Update review: I came back at a different time of day and the service was still amazing! I ordered the Rosebud, a tropical mountain, grilled cheese (again), and a chicken melt. I also ordered their mango smoothie. All very tasty. If ordering anything from their grill, you must consume when it’s hot. If you keep it in the container in the way home it cools and gets soft. (Normal for any grilled sandwich). I’m posting more pictures! Ordered two drinks and a grilled cheese! The drinks were amazing! I ordered “The Doc” and a “Rosebud”. Oh my goodness the taste was amazing and the blended “Rosebud” consistency was smooth with no chunks of ice(sometimes places blend so fast they leave chunks of ice). The grilled cheese was so good I forgot to get a picture before I ate most of it. YUM I went through the drive through which has a weird turn about that my Ford Expedition didn’t like but I was able to get up to the window ok. The employees were so nice. Thank you!

This is a little head and gem in the Tri-Cities that you should try if you like coffee. Even if you don't like coffee they have different drink choices. And they make a variety of sandwiches. They have to build your own breakfast bar which is nice which is a bowl sandwich or burritos.

Net a friend for coffee. I ordered the triple stack club sandwich, and the Jack Attack (white coffee with cinnamon, caramel, white cinnamon and white chocolate). My friend ordered the iced Strawberry Rose which had real rose petals! A quiet hidden cafe and coffee shop. Nice atmosphere, and unique menu. Really enjoyed our visit.

Coworker bought me a drink from here. The tropical one with sprite I believe. SO GOOD! Great pick me up on a slow day. Can't wait to try the food there.

Mixed Sodas here are awesome! Lots of choices, me and wife loved it, as soon as our kids caught a taste they now want to go often. Our whole family when we are riding in the van wants to stop and enjoy the goodness. Super nice staff, always friendly, and patient with the wild crew of kids in the back excited for a delicious mixed soda.

This is an adorable little place. The two workers were friendly and helpful, and my kiddos enjoyed their drinks. The hanging umbrellas are a cute idea to compliment the theme. It was a bit narrow, but that's easy to overlook. I wouldn't take a large group there, due to minimal & spaced seating, but it's perfect for a group of 2-4.

This place caters to the medical professionals near by and it shows. The food is on the same level as hospital food. Cheap microwave bacon and egg patties on dry toast as a breakfast sandwich FOR $12. There's more style than substance here. The place is cute, well decorated and welcoming. The two folks working were friendly and engaging. But paying nearly $30 for a breakfast sandwich and burrito? Nah.... I dug in to the history of the place and found out it's a "daddies money" situation. The owner of the building set this up for their kid. If this is what they pass off as food, they've ever eaten anything that didn't come from a hospital cafeteria or a microwave. Check back in the future though, they let me know their menu is changing next week and I'm praying it gets better. For now, it's a lot like going to that person's big fancy house on the hill but all they have to eat is Ramen and PB&J's. House rich, food poor.

I came in today to drop off a resume and the girl was so nice and helpful. I also got one of their custom mixed sodas and it was the best and the prices for the drinks are great. I will definitely come back!

*I ordered through Uber Eats for delivery so I cannot comment on the in person experience* Restaurant paid attention to my special requests regarding sweetness and ice levels for my drinks. All drinks tasted fresh, not too sweet, had balanced flavors, and were just as good as if I had ordered them in person. Delivery person also arrived early and was careful with my drinks. I love that the cafe put stickers on the drink lids to prevent spills while in transit! I was blown away by the level of detail, depth of flavors, and price. I got 3 large drinks and it was around $20. I love that I can get high quality, specialty drinks for a reasonable price. I will definitely order from Shade Cafe in the future. It shows that they are really passionate about satisfying the customer.

Their pesto chicken sandwich is to die for. It’s my go to item on their menu. Also, their smoothies are so delicious. If I could give shade cafe more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend this place 😊

Very good sandwiches and YUMMY coffee. All of the staff members are SO friendly and make sure you get exactly what you want! Can't believe I haven't been here before I will be coming back for sure! ***Very nicely located right outside of Al La Mode Spa to perk you up after you've been pampered by the most talented staff! ( got the Aveda facial)

Phenomenal! We tried a few of the chicken Sandwiches and all of them were amazing, but my ultimate favorite is the Chicken Avacado! Everything is cooked fresh so be prepared to wait a little bit, but you WILL NOT be disappointed! Excellent customer service. The cooks really take pride in their food! The espresso choices are really unique too! We can’t wait to go back and try some more!

Service was slow. I was told my wrap was being made. After waiting almost 10 minutes, they realized it had been made, but given to another customer by accident. I had to wait for them to remake it. By then, my hot drink was warm and my blended drink was partially melted. I was not impressed. I did really like the decor inside though. There is plenty of seating. Aside from the poor service, if you are looking for a place to meet someone for coffee, this would certainly be an option.

A small place. Seating is limited. The food is fabulous. Service is excellent. The automated ordering program is confusing, cumbersome and does indicate the contents of the sandwiches that have exotic names. Some entries are mandatory, some are options, others are upgrades so to speak at additional cost. I did not understand the system. Go for food and a drink at a slow time and enjoy. Outdoor seating is not attractive unless you like sitting next to an interstate. It is loud, hot in the sun, wet in the rain and so forth.

I usually love get coffee here even I live in Pasco. I ordered the peach smoothie with free sugar whipped cream but they forgot the whip cream so I went to back to get….. I thought they use dome shaped tops? I did little disappointed.

This place has a lot of drinks! You should have no issue finding something you like. Might take some time with somany choices.

My first time coming here was yesterday and woke up this morning wanting another coffee. Not only was the coffee amazing, but our baristas were so very sweet!!! We had Ruby both yesterday and today and found out she was the manger which made it so much better!! If I could give more stars I would… A great coffee shop, with even more awesome people inside.

I had a very good experience. I have come to know one of the baristas. Christin is amazing! I never know what I want and she always seems to know. Never disappointed with a drink she’s made. The vibe is so welcoming here! Very cute and stylish. I love this place! Don’t let the bad reviews ruin you trying this place. Very well priced as well. Keep It up shade cafe!

I ordered the Radioactive drink and I love it so much! It tastes like something you would throw together in middle school but in a good way! For the price, this place is absolutely worth the visit!
