A great costal setup along the Atlantic Ocean in West Africa perfect for any beach goer who's a lover of clear blue ocean for swimming and surfing, plus an attractive blue pool for kids. Tasty universal food and drinks, live music, and a good place for an all day, evening, and night getaway.

We are in Liberia working on our adoption process and have been staying at the Tropicana for nearly a month. This place is fantastic. The staff is amazing. 24 hour security. Fantastic rooms on the interior. The 2 pools are always clean and the beach area is well maintained. Only a couple of vendors walk by when we go to the beach, and the security guards keep a close eye on us. The waves and rip tide are a bit strong for swimming, but the kids can still play in them. Backup generator is great when the power goes out, it takes just a few minutes to kick back on. The internet is not “America fast” but is reliable enough for email and social media and streaming apps for movies, etc. The TVS are nice. The restaurant staff is amazing and the food is good. There is a meeting space that was used for a wedding reception while we have been here, and looked lovely. This place is great for mission trip groups as well, as there is a college group here now. It offers a lot of space for groups to relax, but also be supervised by security for safety. There is a market less than a mile away (like a dollar general store) and the staff here is helpful to get us there anytime with a professional driver or even their own vehicle or a local taxi. I have been pleasantly surprised at this choice of accommodation. The professionalism and hospitality here is top notch. Only 40 minutes to the airport and 50 minutes downtown (traffic jams notwithstanding), if you need to come to Liberia, this is your choice. We have a kitchen with a stove top and microwave and refrigerator/freezer( no oven) and our room choice will accommodate our growing family of 5+. There are 3 large room choices for big families of 5+, as well as studio rooms and 2 room choices for families of 4 and under. The price beat all other options in its class. Breakfast is included, and if we run late to breakfast, the staff actually comes to check on us to see if we need to place an order or if they should wait longer before taking down the buffet at 10am. Thanks Tropicana! Although adoption trips are stressful, this place has made a lot of things easier, and we are grateful.

I didn't stay at Tropicana Beach, but only met a friend for lunch. The service was great and the views are unmatched. It's a great place to watch the sunset. The beach side furniture is very comfortable and shaded.

The food was well seasoned. Drinks was also good. A+ Food. C+ service. The one thing I didn't like was We ordered lobster 🦞, but they didn't have any lobster or shrimp. I had to order the grilled fish with fried rice. Delicious😋

Nice location and view. Swimming pool are nice. There are some indoor games like pool, TT. You can enjoy your time with gentle breeze of sea with music.

Kids pool is lovely for little ones - shallow enough for a one year old to stand at the top end. Food is good. Points of improvement: lots of ants at poolside, debris in pool, service is a little slow, no music on the kids side.

This place is so relaxing, they have a pool and the beautiful beach. Their food is exceptional with variety of drinks. Weekday is free to enter but holidays and weekends is 10 dollars but you will also order with in that money. I haven’t stay in the room .
