When I visited this place on 15/08/2021,the water levels was a concern to me,effects of global warming are visible here, all I could see were pot holes with some waters and people who wanted to swim here ,were forced to go as deeper as they could almost reaching near the coral leave where the water levels are high and this is very dangerous, some water animals could be seen on this pot holes ,it's a awakening call for us all to take of our environment ,yes at times the water could move from the shore ,but this is alarming even to those people who do fishing here. Otherwise I enjoyed the vicinity and a cool breeze from the sea . This place is not good for swimming moreso in the evening hours but it's worthy a visit πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ€—

Wonderful views. Perfect place to enjoy the coastal breeze in cool and comfortable environment. Friendly people and enjoyable ride on the ferry to and fro. The waters would do with more conservation efforts and environment friendly human activities to make it an even more wonderful destination for tourists and locals.

The ever grinning lips of the deep blue sea stretches as far as eyes can see.An innefable charm but ever murmuring,it is the nature of the sea. A murmuring sea in the day, a roaring sea at night. The sand is soft and warm. I didn't feel so safe around the idle, eye prying Beach Boys.

Yes there are less tourists but there’s a reason behind that. I was travelling with two other women and was mugged there in 2011. Teenage boys took all our valuables and one of my friends had her bikini removed by a man with a machete. Avoid this place like the plague and stick to Diani etc.
