Affogato would've been excellent except that the barista had just run out of ice cream and ran to get more but it turned out to be a mix of strawberry and vanilla ice cream. Quite odd. Lovely server, lovely atmosphere. We will be back to try again!

A great new addition in Lamu, this charming small coffee shop makes a fabulous cold brew (good for hot Lamu days) and excellent croissants. There’s a garden to sit in but it was really hot, so we preferred sitting on cushions on the big carpet inside, which is cooler.

You can tell how passionate the employees are about coffee. Joshua took the time to explain in detail where the coffee is grown & how it's being prepared. The atmosphere at the Cafe and in the adjacent garden is calm and it's the perfect place to relax and de-stress. Also, the coffee is fantastic.

Great specialist coffee in Lamu town. Professional setup. Not easy to find but worth it. Really nice space with a tranquil garden at the back. Staff very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Hats down to the best coffee experience on our Kenyan journey. I will not forget that strong and creamy macchiato prepared by the coolest barista. This place has an amazing future⭐

I enjoyed such a pleasant and peaceful afternoon in the shady garden, sipping on a masala tea with a cookie. The manager, Joshua, is quite lovely, so I had a nice time talking to him. I heard the cold brew is excellent, so I’ll be back.

Great coffee !! Joshua spent the time to thoroughly describe where the coffee is grown and how it is made. It is a great addition to Lamu Old Village. While i was there in old town, I went there twice. Excellent coffee, especially the chilled brew, and very warm service. In future they were very positive about adding plant based milk and snack. I hope the best for them .

If you value good coffee, this is your place. They are coffee roasters. They brewed it with a Kalita right on my table. The patio was lovely and the service, amazing.

This place offers the best coffee (equal with Mwana) on the island simple as that. Drink, write, chat or play cards in the lovely garden area. Did not have WiFi when I was there so if you're looking for that go to Whispers Cafe.

Talk to Joshua! Joshua knows everything about coffee, and besides which country your are coming from, he can brew you your favourite coffee! He nailed my espresso and he also introduced us to different type of African coffee! He let us taste and lecture us for free! He is a nice guy and after 20 years as a Bartender now he opened his brand new coffeehouse in Lamu! A place you must visit!! He can also arrange you breakfast as you prefere, just talk to Joshua!

This is the perfect representation of Lamu Town renewal. Hipster à souhait, remarkable coffee, and great athmosphere. Highly reccomended. Plus, they offer coffee classes in a dedicated cupping room.

Excellent Café in Lamu! They have the best cold brew in town, but it is not cheap... To get to the café you need to walk a bit between narrow alleys, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed.

The Cafe is a hidden gem and our tour guide Hamza brought us there. I liked the paint and the style of the place. From to counter all the way to the toilet. They have nice choices in the menu, for every taste something. I had the cold brew affogato. For my personal taste was the coffee a bit too sour but taste is individually different. The staff is super nice and the garden is so relaxing. Sitting under a banana leave, very good spot. PS: you should always book a guided tour with locals, you see more and support the community.

I’m a former barista and that is the best coffee I had in Kenya. Punto, go there if you want a delicious brewed drink.
